00:00Talk to me about this experience for you, and what made you want to do the show?
00:04So I didn't, I never, like, the experience was amazing, once in a lifetime, so much fun.
00:10I never really wanted, like, it wasn't like a thing, I was always like, this is what I want to do.
00:14But I watched the show, was always a fan, and then my older sister submitted me,
00:20and I met with them one time, and then I didn't get a call, and then I, like, loved Colton.
00:24I met him once before, actually this summer, for his charity event in San Diego,
00:30and I was obsessed with him, had no idea he was going to be The Bachelor or anything like that.
00:35And then two weeks before they started filming, they gave me a call, and they were like,
00:38hey, based on who The Bachelor is, like, we'd like to have you come up.
00:42And so I went up and met the producers, and from there, two weeks later, I was on the show.
00:47So it was crazy, crazy quick, but.
00:50Did Colton hit on you when you guys met for the first time?
00:53It was like, there was, like, swarms of girls, like, I don't even think he saw me.
00:58It was, like, literally, like, swarms of girls, like, just, like, googly-eyed over him.
01:02So it was, like, 15 seconds, like, quick picture, and that was it, but.
01:07And how did you feel revealing to Colton that you'd never been kissed before?
01:11How scary was that?
01:12It was really nerve-wracking.
01:14Yeah, I was pretty terrified, just because I know there's, like, a certain stigma attached to, like,
01:20being 22 and never having kissed anyone.
01:23So I knew there was, like, he, I wanted to, like, get to know him a little bit and, like, have him see who I was
01:29before I, like, just dropped this bomb on him and told him, like, hey.
01:32And so he could, like, I didn't want him to see me through a lens of just that.
01:37But I had to tell him, and I knew, like, I got a certain amount of time, and I was like,
01:42I'm only going to get so much time with him.
01:43So I told him, but it was really terrifying.
01:46I was afraid that he was just going to see me through a certain lens, and that was going to be it.
01:49Were you hopeful that he would be your first kiss?
01:52Like, did you get that certain little butterfly, like, when you kept out of a little?
01:55Oh, my gosh, yes.
01:56He was adorable.
01:58He, like, has everything, like, I've ever said I wanted in a guy, like, Colton embodies.
02:02And so, yeah, like, I had that spark in the butterflies, and I was super excited and hopeful maybe it would happen.
02:08Did you know immediately that you would tell him that you hadn't been kissed?
02:11I honestly didn't know how I was going to go about it.
02:13Like, I didn't know if I should just, like, not say anything and then just, like, see what happens.
02:19But I knew, like, once I, like, spent a day or two there, I was like, okay, like, I need to be upfront and honest,
02:25and I kind of need to, like, I didn't want to, like, not tell him and him to lean in and kiss,
02:28and it was just, like, awkward, and then people knew.
02:30I just felt, I was like, it's better just to be open and honest and kind of just, like, lay everything on the table.
02:36And if he likes it or not, we'll see.
02:37Like, did you kind of feel it in the moment, like, when you do tell him, like, did you feel that was the right time?
02:44What made it feel right?
02:45I think it's because, so we had, there was only six of us left on the date when, um, to go to the night portion.
02:52There was 13 of us in total, and then six of us went to go to the night portion.
02:55And so I was like, okay, I know I'm going to get, like, a pretty significant amount of time with him that night,
03:01and that was rare.
03:02Like, that doesn't happen in the beginning, so I'm like, I think this is probably the time where I can have, like, time to explain
03:08and actually time to, like, sit with him rather than, like, have five minutes to be like, hey, I'm Heather.
03:12How do you guess you want to buy?
03:13Like, I had time where I can really explain myself and just, like, dive deeper rather than just, like, a quick five minutes.
03:20How do you get along with the other girls in the house?
03:22I got, I really got along with the other girls in the house.
03:25Yeah, there's definitely a lot of personalities, like, some really outgoing, some kind of shy, people who are really out there.
03:32But, um, I kind of just went with the flow and just kind of melded to wherever I needed, like, any personality.
03:38So, yeah, I really got along with them.
03:39They're really sweet girls.
03:40Um, any issues with anyone that you can tell us about?
03:44With me personally?
03:45Yeah.
03:45I, I, personally, I tried to stay out of all of it.
03:47I really didn't have any, any personal issues with any of the girls, which I was super happy about.
03:53Who did you click with right away?
03:55Right away, I clicked with, um, Hannah B.
03:57Hannah B, we, the first day, we kind of sat down by the pool and just started talking.
04:03And we, like, talked for, like, four hours.
04:06And so, we were really close.
04:07What don't fancy, um, behind the scenes?
04:10And so, like, what, what can you reveal about filming the show that made me surprise you or would surprise viewers?
04:15I think they don't see all the waiting.
04:17There's, like, hours and hours and hours where you're just waiting and waiting and waiting.
04:22And you, like, you can, we spend, like, 12-hour nights and you get to have, like, four minutes with them.
04:28So, I don't think, what people don't see is, like, they see chopped up little conversations.
04:31And it looks like it's, like, a fun time.
04:33But a lot of the time, you're just kind of sitting on the couches, like, staring at each other, have a drink, and just sit around.
04:39There's just lots and lots of waiting.
04:40Was the Batcha Mansion what you expected it to be and more?
04:44It was beautiful.
04:45I, I honestly, I went in, like, kind of seeing what it was like on TV.
04:49Um, it looks a little bit different.
04:51But, yeah, it was, it was beautiful.
