00:00What was going through your mind when you were sent home?
00:03So I, that day in Denver, the whole entire week that I went to Denver,
00:09I was not sure if I was in the place, at the same place as the other girls.
00:14And I didn't know, like, the next week was hometowns,
00:17and I just didn't feel like I was at the place where I can look at Colton and be like,
00:22I would feel confident if you asked my dad for my hand in marriage.
00:26Like, that seemed, like, really daunting,
00:28and I didn't feel like we were at that place yet.
00:31And I knew, like, a few of the other girls were really at that place where they're like,
00:35I could be engaged in a couple weeks.
00:38And so that whole week I was kind of just, like, in my head about it and really thinking about it.
00:43And that time when, and by the time we got to the group date, I knew that I was just, like,
00:49I, it wouldn't be, I would love for him to meet my family, and I would love to get to that place.
00:55And I saw everything in him.
00:56It wasn't like there was something, like, I felt it was missing.
00:59But I just didn't feel like we were at that place yet,
01:01and I knew that he really, really wanted to get engaged.
01:04So I think I just, I needed to be true and genuine to myself,
01:08and I needed to tell him that I just, I wasn't at the point where I thought we could get engaged.
01:15So when you got home, what was the first thing that went through your head?
01:19Did you have any regrets about anything?
01:22Yeah, it didn't really hit me until a couple days after I got home.
01:26I'm like, what did I just do?
01:29Like, should I have left?
01:30Should I have stayed?
01:31Did I make the right choice?
01:33But I think at the end of the day, like, I think, I think I did.
01:37It just took a while to, like, set in and be, like, I, it was just hard to process what I went through by the time I got home.
01:43Like, I just didn't, it's just such a separate world, and, like, no one kind of understood what I went through,
01:48and no one, like, went through it with me that I could talk to.
01:51So it was really, it was really a surreal feeling.
01:53Um, any regrets in doing the show?
01:57Absolutely no regrets.
01:58No.
01:59Um, what's the biggest thing that you've learned from doing this show?
02:03I think the number one thing I learned probably, I just, like, I was really stretched, and I was pushed out of my comfort zone.
02:11Um, and it forced me to be bold and to, like, be open and vulnerable and share about myself when I typically, like, I don't like to do that.
02:21Like, I'd rather just kind of, you know, not tell people, like, things immediately and kind of just, like, stay in my shell, in my comfort zone.
02:29But I really learned how rewarding it is to just be bold and be open and vulnerable.
02:36Um, of course, I'm sure you're already getting asked, but would you do Paradise?
02:41Uh, yeah, a lot of people have asked me that.
02:43I don't know.
02:43Paradise kind of scares me a little bit and makes me a little bit nervous.
02:47Um.
02:47Why?
02:48I don't know.
02:49Just the concept of, like, everyone, like, fighting for different people or the same people, and, like, it's all my, it would be, like, all my friends, and they like one guy, and I like the same guy.
02:58I don't know.
02:59It makes me a little bit nervous.
03:00But I'm, maybe.
03:01Never say never.
03:01You're open.
03:02Okay.
03:02I'm open.
03:03Who from Bachelor Nation are you crushing on?
03:08Hmm.
03:09Or would you accept a first date ask from?
03:12I love Ben Higgins.
03:14I've always loved Ben Higgins.
03:15Oh, you're a little too late.
03:16I know.
03:17He's got a girlfriend.
03:18I know.
03:19I saw that.
03:20Crushed me.
03:21But you, but you were thinking about potentially reaching out, or?
03:26No.
03:26I, Ben, I just, since I was, like, since I watched his season, when he was on Caitlin's season, I was just, like, Ben is, like, the ideal guy.
03:34He's so cute.
03:34Has anyone from Bachelor Nation reached out to you being, like, hey, you're really hot.
03:38We should go out.
03:39No.
03:40No, they haven't.
03:41I could see you with Dean.
03:42Oh, I love Dean.
03:43Oh, my gosh.
03:43Dean, too.
03:44Okay.
03:44Dean's adorable.
03:45I forgot about Dean.
03:46We have to set you up with Dean.
03:47Yes.
03:48Okay.
03:48So you're down for a first date with Dean.
03:50Oh, absolutely.
03:50Okay.
03:51What was the dynamic in the house like this season?
03:54There was lots of drama this season.
03:56There was some girls who, I think this season versus other seasons, is girls knew each other coming into the house that already had drama.
04:06So from the first day, there was already tension with a couple of the girls, and so I think that's what was the difference.
04:14And there was just lots of people taking different sides and people not seeing the full story, and there was lots of drama.
04:22Oh, okay.
04:22Who was the biggest instigator?
04:27I think people would like to say Demi probably was the biggest instigator, but she honestly really wasn't an instigator.
04:35She was just the most controversial person because she just did what she wanted, and she was just bold and went after what she wanted to go after, and I think that rubbed people the wrong way.
04:47But she really didn't instigate anything per se, but hi, I'm Heather, and thank you so much for watching my interview with Hollywood Light.
