04:19forever home but now we've got weird things going on one particular night it was about one o'clock in
04:28morning both in bed fast asleep and John said the security camera is going off in the bar and we're
04:38looking at the phone and there wasn't a person there it was just like these two globes that was just
04:47moving up and down since that moment I have not been back to the barn at all there's no way I'm going in there now
04:59the other thing that's happened is I was on night shoots and so in the afternoon I would have a sleep and
05:10every single afternoon when I went to bed it just sounds as if someone's in the loft above just walking
05:20gently not banging and clattering but just walking and then it stops then ten minutes later it starts again
05:29one friend in particular came over for a weekend and they were staying in the far bedroom and there
05:41were two lights shining in the mirror and he was convinced that John and I were outside shining torches
05:49through the window or something and trying to frighten them his wife was absolutely terrified
05:56the other weird thing we can be sitting in this room particularly and you can bet your life about 9 15
06:07every night it's like there's this smell of air freshener it's quite a pleasant floral smell but
06:20and then you think please don't be a grey lady who's wearing perfume or something because I will faint with fear
06:29my daughter did say by the way that she's never coming ever again until she knows what it is
06:36she said mum that's it you come to me from now on

13:11very often concluded it was some kind of supernatural event well i'll keep my eyes open for lights this
13:16evening then i can't actually get my eyes off the barn the barn is intriguing me just something about
13:25that place so we've got this boy spirit this child maybe a teenager that i feel is definitely connected
13:33to the canal in some way and there's this male spirit come on in i think that's barry and jane

36:12exciting we had an amazing investigation did you but uh yeah first of all of course you joined us
36:17didn't you initially yes for our spirit trigger sessions now beverly you participated in an experiment
36:24a traditional experiment called dowsing the little bit that was in between my finger and thumb it felt like
36:32it was charged with electricity or something and you know what fascinated me at one point i saw your
36:39face morphing it's almost like transfiguration as we call it where spirit talks through your body
36:44through your soul do you know it's sort of a blur but i was absolutely boiling hot yeah and i found
36:54that i'd lost myself it was the strangest feeling now the final place we all went together during spirit
37:05triggers was into the barn area i'm gonna play this for you this is actually a disembodied voice that is
37:12a ghost's voice we didn't hear it in real time no one did i've just put it on loop what's it
37:24saying wow it's one word oh oh oh oh oh it's a male voice with a dialect i don't know whether that's local
37:37or not what do you think i think you're right it could well be couldn't it i think it feels like a
37:42norfolk accent yeah so you mentioned that the place had been stables before we didn't know that we
37:50had that amazing evp saying horse but what we did know what we did hear at the time was this response
37:57coming through the speaker don't like horses yes yeah you look shocked i can't believe it can you
38:08what do you think mr skeptic can't argue with you can i it's like i can't if i thought it would be
38:17right to it's incredible yeah it is amazing isn't it yeah and we can't argue with it no yeah so we knew
38:24at this point that maybe at least one of the spirits here at the property was involved with maybe working
38:30with horses and ian had picked up on a name and it had been with him all evening can you remember when you
38:37was doing your divination when he was doing your pendulum work that i said to you david the name
38:43david came to me yes i do remember now after you left us barry had the idea that i should maybe walk
38:51through your home with headphones on and the voice recorder listening out for live evp so listening
38:59out for ghost voices in real time okay now i heard this at the time and you'll hear my reaction

39:10that's a david can you hear that name we've got a david without doubt and it was interesting because
39:17we realized throughout the evening that actually david was much more comfortable i think connecting
39:23beverly with yourself and with me and actually later on we had a response which we think explains that
39:33so at this point we moved into the guest bedroom and we spoke to david now these aren't the voices of
39:40spirits these are pre-programmed in computerized voices if you like but the responses are direct
39:47from spirit and this first response was fascinating am i alive yeah oh my god am i alive sometimes
39:56spirit don't know the past over sometimes they're confused they're not understanding why nobody can
40:00communicate with them why nobody can see them so david was in limbo really that's sad that is really sad
40:09mm-hmm now we talked about beverly already that he was much more comfortable we think communicating
40:17with you and i and this response john may explain why that was as soon as ian was able to see him

41:20you've reported is smelling the scent of flowers or roses oh yes yes ian has an idea as to why that
41:27happens the smell of roses is pure and they sometimes say it's a gift from heaven and i would say that's
41:35one of your loved ones who have passed on so you will continue smelling that oh well i'm pleased then
41:41yeah i am really pleased gosh i keep crying in front of you lot i'm quite a tough fit i'm a feisty woman
41:52but you are very sensitive as well we know that yes now what we tend to do at the end of an
42:00investigation is to cleanse a space now your home has a beautiful energy anyway the barn is different
