00:30all right here we are guys SEMA 2025 this it's insane it's so over the top crazy well think
00:43about it man we've got five million square feet of awesomeness right completely sick builds talent
00:49craftsmanship you name it everything to build fabricate some of the coolest cars in the world
00:54and we got almost a quarter million people here between the exhibitors and the attendees
00:58checking it all out getting it to you on social on TVs and here's the craziest part over 140
01:05countries it's just nuts man and you're getting highlights like this this is Octavia from the
01:12Ring Brothers we're gonna highlight this car man we got so much to hit between here between apex so
01:17ride along with us man it's gonna be a fun fast journey all right so I'd be remiss if I didn't
01:24stop by a Dodge Charger because they always you know they always catch my eye I gravitate towards
01:28these cars because I love the aesthetics this is a 68 it's got a lot of mods done to it now you can
01:34tell he's made a wide body offering out of the 68 Dodge Charger which from the factory they already came
01:40as a kind of a coke bottle aesthetics that's how they described it back in 1968 69 to 70 so I've never
01:46seen one so wide in the front and you can see what normally is just some fake doors guys he's moved
01:52these out so the wide body starts back here and then you see the big bend this front fender I imagine
01:59this thing lives up to its name they call it violent but it really shows you what today's SEMA cars are
02:05all about it's a Dodge Charger they're true to my heart I love them this one screams all right guys I
02:12wasn't lying man I told you we'd be back it's a 1971 Aston Martin DVS I got my man Ryan here from
02:19Ring Brothers to walk us through I mean to me it's phenomenal in my mind this one blows everything out
02:26of the water yeah we wanted to do a European muscle car right an American muscle car it's not even a
02:32thing right now you know what it was deep dishing rear wheels on a European car right that doesn't
02:37happen and that was one of the things like we needed to do that we extended this car eight inches
02:41and the front ten in the rear you know it's a full carbon car right at 5-0 Coyote supercharged hair up
02:48you see all that carbon work this car it pushed us in every possible way from design to machining paint
02:55you know all the bright work short of the steering wheel steering column and this piece of trim is all
02:593d printed stainless and polished out that's a new technology for us that you know we see the
03:05capability to use that in the future in all of our builds and I think it's gonna be really exciting
03:10all right here we are SEMA 2025 and look when you get the SEMA you're kind of blown away by the
03:18bills right the cars and all the performance but what is it that gets you there it's the tools right
03:24and we're talking about right tools you got to bring in our friends from Carlisle Carlisle is killing it
03:29these tools not only have the amazing warranty but man you could beat on them you could pound them and
03:34they take it like bosses like champs so Joe I gotta ask you man this booth is popping everybody's here
03:40tons of traffic what's the hottest tool you guys are seeing right now what's the big what's the big one
03:46that is wowing people so so though the one thing that we've gotten the most comments about since
03:51setting up here at SEMA 2025 is our brand new gearless ratchet and when I say gearless there's no T
03:58it is it is nuts completely gearless almost zero degree arc swing it will get you into the tightest
04:04spaces under the tightest hoods that you can imagine yes now I've personally use this super super handy
04:11and a lifesaver how are you guys getting some of these tools into the hands of the next generation
04:17of mechanics you know the guys that are watching the show right now that's right listen the next
04:21generation of technicians and are in the automotive repair industry it's the most important thing that
04:26we're focused on if they want to walk into a brick and mortar store they can walk into any Napa auto
04:30parts store in the US and pick up Carlisle tools right there over the counter that's awesome if they
04:35break one they take it back to the same place and we'll give them a new one over the counter how cool

05:59we love our go fast parts well we all have daily drivers we got to fix them we got to get them back
06:04on the road and we love working with doorman because they don't just have replacement parts
06:08they have replacement parts that fix the issues that always sometimes miss right so we've got nick
06:14here man he kind of runs the whole operation on right getting the parts not just to oe spec but
06:20beyond well tell us a little bit more about the oe fix program you guys have so basically oe fix is
06:24where we try to find the issues with the oe parts from the factory and fix them whether it's a redesign
06:30whether it's a component change like materials or even just replacing the failed component instead
06:35of replacing the entire part assembly so you've got it's display you got it's a new product here for
06:39everybody out there what do you got with electronic power steering here we have redesigned the board
06:44to offer surge protection we also did a uv40 coating so it prevents any type of contamination from
06:51salt chemicals or water intrusion nice are these remand units so these are brand new units which is
06:57which is the best part absolutely fantastic so original quality but even better yep and proprietary
07:03software so we develop all the software in-house i know they got some underhood products over here
07:07yep let's go check those out real quick good yeah so basically we have for our popular ford v6
07:12engines we have lower intake manifold which fits and functions just like doe however it does incorporate
07:18a aluminum internal coolant port that's a huge feature uh you can imagine trying to seal on the
07:24face of plastic going through hot coolant the chemicals over time man it's just a fail point so you
07:29guys have over molded right a full aluminum section on there exactly problem solved man that's awesome
07:36what's next yeah well popular 2018 to 2024 ford f-150 they come with plastic oil pans we redesigned
07:42it in die cast aluminum we also moved the oil drain to reposition so that it can evacuate all the old
07:49oil and all that dirty out exactly and we added a magnetic drain plug to get rid of all the debris
07:54perfect plus plus plus yeah exactly we're going to wrap it up and keep on checking out all the
07:59goodies here at apex absolutely over sema you know at sema you never know what's making a noise could be
08:04engines big blocks or it could be the audio side of the program i mean here is something something
08:10crazy whenever i see a car like this i got one question that question is huh what all right more

08:35all right welcome back sema 2025 and i got to tell you this is going to be loud but bear with me why
08:41because we're on where all the action takes place what's called the battle of the builders all right
08:46when you see a great car at sema they bring it over here it becomes a big competition this car started
08:51out as a newer mercedes the s63e big performance package for a mercedes but imagine all of the
08:59outside of that car removed right and then it rebodied with a 70 mercedes 600 and as you can tell
09:06tons of mods go into it massive heat exchanger but the modern power plant check out the metal
09:12work in the car wrapped in this crazy green comes back as you go back right you see crazy cool carbon
09:18fire mirrors a carbon fiber roof but follow me back here in the car we have nala our little pup
09:25and some nice people riding shotgun and in the back but you can tell the interior modern cool accessories
09:31cool flow it's an old 70 mercedes but it screams new technology all the creature comforts of a modern
09:38mercedes and a package that's just kick ass
09:50all right man this is awesome we're in the kin dig it booth this is the debut of the cf1 fastback now
09:56there's a roadster there's a cabriolet so this fits perfectly in there carbon fiber body all designed
10:01by the man himself we got both legends right behind me signing autographs this thing is sick we got
10:07the lingenfelter 427 in here maybe if we're lucky we can pull dave over here for a quick one what do
10:14you say man hey man let's do it how are you good morning all right what do you think man this is
10:18another accolade on your sky high pile man i'll tell you what uh it's been a dream come true you know
10:24five years now we've been working on the cf1 program and this is actually the debut for the fastback
10:29we didn't actually change anything from the roadsters cabriolets or the fastbacks they're just
10:33going to keep going up in the number uh this one would be a number 25 which is uh my personal car
10:38which is awesome i actually get to keep one uh but this is the prototype so basically uh we've
10:43already sold about seven of these so far and we'll just keep going you guys nailed it i think it's one
10:47of the most beautiful cars here at sema so you guys keep doing what you're doing appreciate the minute
10:52man you gotta get back to it absolutely later all right guys let's keep on rolling
11:02you guys know we've partnered up with crc for years and they do such a great program
11:07you know bringing people back into that you know technicians world or people working with
11:11their hands we love to motivate that you remember we went to your shop right and we dusted out the
11:17combo pros they look great oh they look fantastic and man piercey sits now at sema what what an
11:23unbelievable truck man i was the first one to drive it i still am the only one to drive it it's
11:28absolutely amazing and you know what this to date is the funnest build we've done yet we absolutely
11:34love it for me i was all about that edelbrock 900 plus horsepower big old engine sticking out of the
11:42hood it's the biggest thing i'm mad about right now and i am mad he's drove it he stomped on the
11:48loud pedal he's burned the tires off i ain't got to do it yet hey willie it's fast everybody's jealous
11:55very very it's not for the applause it's for the cause that's right i have a build like this it's all
12:01about the kids you know the scholarships are so important we need everybody to start thinking about
12:07we've got to have people working with their hands and we're starting with the young people
12:10of tech school scholarship funds is awesome for us we love doing these builds this one was especially
12:17fun you know what else makes it fun is when you have a company like crc that can help plug in right
12:23and make the build easier so raquel always great having you on tell me about some of the new products
12:28you guys brought through the forefront to helping builds like this oh yeah we had several but our
12:33newest one is the next generation of clean our crc brake clean foaming brake wash it's water-based
12:40low voc and 50 state compliance so it's going to save a lot more it's not going to have as much
12:45on the floor i mean come on y'all should have done this years ago three times the cleaning power in the
12:51can how much three times wow so there you go man they're bringing it they're helping to get to the
12:56next iteration and that's what this is all about sema 2025 who knows what's going to be in their booth
13:02next man but we can't wait to show it to you guys all right game we came all the way to the west
13:08haul just for this car mustang gtd hottest thing on the nurberg ring we're going to take a break when

13:18when you've got a heavy duty working truck like a ram 2500 or 3500 you know how important keeping

15:11its original skin which is immaculate it's black not a dent ding anything on the panel but the fins you
15:17got to appreciate especially something this long this stretch interior is sick but really what makes
15:23these cadillacs is all the way on the back right and these cool unbelievably sharp fins this is classic
15:31this is performance this is everything that represents sima and this is gorgeous
15:38hey guys still at apex man we're checking up on our friends at b pro auto this is an exciting
15:43newer automotive company for aftermarket parts everything you need to fix your automobiles your
15:49dailies right maybe it's your pride and joy but these guys are building up pretty amazingly because you've
15:54got the backbone of the stalantis and mopar now you guys started out right with let's say more of
16:00the easier ones to get into right filtrations etc like anybody you start with the easy stuff first right
16:05so it's your brake your filtration your wiper blades your things like that the easy stuff but
16:10over the last year so we've really been kind of venturing into more of those light repair commodities so
16:14you're talking you're working electrical make sure you're breaking portfolios complete and getting into like
16:19cooling and hvac systems and functional fluids and chemicals and things like that now
16:22so right we've got some of the more bigger more complicated parts right the alternator starters
16:27brake components right ac system stuff and that takes right probably a lot of development a lot of
16:33work a lot of testing prove out i wish it was quicker but it takes a lot i mean especially when
16:38you're leveraging the oe relationship between mopar and stalantis you know we're using our engineering
16:43teams that are also validating our oe componentry it does take time to build a quality component
16:48i could slap our label on any part and sell it quickly but we want to make sure that it's oe back
16:54it meets our quality criteria that we have to make sure we meet our customers expectations deliver a
16:58quality price at a with a quality part now you guys continue to grow i mean you've been in this
17:03business like just a couple years now but already you have a pretty huge lineup for most of the vehicle
17:09but now you're filling in across brands yeah so like we're a little over 35 commodities right now
17:15that are available for sale and really the kind of the message right now is we're rounding out the
17:18portfolio to make sure that regardless if you have a two-year-old car or a 14-year-old car whether
17:23it's a toyota or a kia or a dodge you have a part that fits that vehicle to be able to repair any of
17:28the needs that a customer may have awesome man love watching you guys grow we're going to keep hitting
17:32the floor dustin from b pro auto man we're going to keep rolling guys let's go check it out
17:37all right guys we found one of the brand new mustang gtd's in the house this is von gittin jr's
17:46it's got his signature colors over it's been wrapped for protection because he's all over the track with
17:51it now this car is sitting with 815 horsepower up front it's a marriage between ford and multimatic
17:58so they've got a dry sum system where the transmission used to be and now there's a transaxle dct in the
18:04back all bespoke suspension front and rear you can see through the back glass the rear push rod
18:11suspension in the rear that's pretty awesome and a lot of you might have seen this five footage
18:15cord is back on the track at the nurberg ring so watch out zr1 with four complete convention halls full
18:24of cars there's still not enough room we're spilling out of the parking lots we're going to keep rolling
18:29but in the meantime we're going to take a quick break see on the other side
18:34you know what's wild man you show up at sima and you see great friends great products that you
18:54know and trust like kbs coatings we've used them a number of times in the shop in our own builds
18:59they have amazing products like tank sealer rust seal where you you know you can have a rusty rear end
19:04knock off the dirt debris throw on a little a little that black and it's self-leveling so all
19:08of a sudden you get this finish that's like man it looks like show quality looks like you know you put
19:12a lot of effort a lot of work but really you just brushed it on but something new in their booth
19:17this time around is something called their clear diamond finish so we've all like learned to appreciate
19:24metal work and over the years a lot of people have wanted to show off some of their metal work on
19:29their cars and their build but how do you show off raw metal but yet still protect it from the
19:34elements that's where this diamond comes in at and it's called clear diamond finish but you can see
19:39all the metal work right it's all evidence all you know right here but it's also protected it's got
19:44like a clear coat now you can brush it you can roll it on you can spray it on obviously i love the raw
19:49metal look i think with something like this product it's going to become a lot more popular so check it out
19:54kbs coatings it's our diamond clear finish pretty cool stuff now this thing has had so many mods done
20:03to it you would just never believe it if you saw it unless you saw a real 49 pontiac chieftain right
20:08beside of it so let's start obviously chop top flush mount windows cool skirts but under the hood a 700
20:15plus horsepower lsa engine everything for the car was designed off this chieftain head which is really
20:21cool you see the styling is coming back around what's really impressive is this one gorgeous in
20:26every aspect but these cars from the 40s all of a sudden they're popping in different booths they're
20:31showing up but they haven't been in a number of years imagine some of this styling from the 40s we're
20:37gonna see in different applications different builds and none nicer than this one right here
20:43all right gang we have walked miles and miles man we've covered millions of square feet yeah i can feel
20:48it in my feet oh man i don't feel like we've barely scratched the surface man it's amazing it really
20:53is what's your takeaways man would you like so i think square bodies are back i saw more square bodies
20:58this year than ever before skyline skyline we've always appreciated skylines but they're everywhere
21:04this year man so there's some takeaways and believe it or not what was old is new again a lot of 40s style
21:11cars trending around a lot of skirts a lot of cool things that show the fluidity of metal and i thought there
21:16was a lot of great builds this year man just overall yeah i think the tech is going crazy yeah
21:21right from every direction and the bar just keeps getting higher yes it does man it's getting wider
21:27and higher that's all right it's a great space to play man we had a lot of fun absolutely hope you
