“Listen. Do. Repeat. For Life!”

This week’s episode is different than our normal episodes. Instead of focusing on our guests personal journey and story, it’s a sales masterclass on communication. Call centers, bettering yourself as a business owner and communicator, and so much more. So get your pens and paper ready. You are going to want to listen to this episode, take notes, apply it, rewind it, and play it again.

Our guest today is an entrepreneur, sales professional, CEO, coach, and more. And while he has done a lot of things well in life, he continues to study, becomes an expert at whatever he commits to, and now he’s here to teach us how to do it too. Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to this weeks episode of the Remarkable People Podcast, the Richard Blank story!

00:00Nice. Now, when you got there, was it culture shock? Was it purely like enthusiasm? Like,
00:07I can't believe I'm here. Was there a transition period from culture to culture?
00:12Wonderful question. That's why I have one of the best podcasts out there, David. Let me go over a
00:18lot of those things. First, since Spanish was my major in college, it was easy for me to acclimate
00:22the language. Secondly, it showed a very good first impression on my end. Even though I was a
00:26guest in this country, I really was able to put my best foot forward. My junior year in college,
00:32I lived in Spain. So I had a chance to do it for two semesters over Christmas break as well. So
00:37living abroad and being an expat was something I was already used to. It was just a different
00:41culture in Costa Rica compared to Europe. But no, I had friends here. I had some way to earn a living.
00:49And I was stimulated. It was really about shedding a skin and being almost reborn.
00:57And I knew that I was following in my natural footsteps because every day I was elated.
01:04I couldn't wait to get up, going to work, going to work where I was increasing my skills and
01:09learning something and literally having the best time of my life in my late 20s when it should have
01:14already been over. And then I also realized something else, my earnings potential.
