00:00hey guys welcome back or welcome to my channel it's Mary Jane I am in my home which is gorgeous

00:10Japan and I'm on my own again so I've been solo traveling for eight years and I've been on this

00:19quest to see if I could visit every single country in the world it was 2018 when I decided that I

00:27wanted to go see if I could visit every single country I thought that I don't know I just became

00:34so I fell so in love with exploring that I was like why don't I make it my mission to see if I

00:43can visit all the countries and I knew it was very daunting I knew it was not necessarily something

00:49that a lot of people do only 251 people have ever visited every country in the world but I thought

00:56why not you know um it's been eight years you guys and in those eight years I've visited 139 nations

01:04by myself um I am a solo traveler it's kind of deemed I'm kind of uh of traveling by myself not that there

01:14is not something beautiful about having adventures with others but I just found it so incredibly

01:20I guess exhilarating that I could go to these places um in such a way that totally like I'm

01:30totally immersing myself into a place when I go by myself um so we've done a lot of fun adventures

01:37and like I said 139 countries done but earlier this year I visited 22 countries in 2025 all by myself

01:45and I was starting to get very worn out mentally and I feel like I needed to go see my family I've had

01:52a little bit of a rocky relationship with my family so it definitely wasn't something that I did all the

01:58time and it'd been years since I've saw my siblings so I remember I was in Brazil and I was very fatigued

02:05um a lot of things were happening to me um in Brazil and just from being on the road for so long

02:11without seeing anybody I knew I hit my siblings up and I was like can I come see you and they said

02:18yes so I went to Florida for the first time in years to go see my siblings I hung out with my

02:24siblings and my sister came with me here to Japan kind of like a little celebration because my

02:29birthday's coming my birthday is on December 25th so my sister was here with me for three days it was

02:33the first time we traveled together in over five years and it was amazing she just went back home to

02:38the U.S. and when she was leaving when she was going down the escalator or down the steps I definitely

02:44was getting very choked up very sad but she told me that she will come visit me again um in April she'll

02:52have some time off from work and she'll visit me in one of my countries in 2026 I plan on finishing

02:58this goal of visiting every country in the world um I have 56 more countries to go and you might say

03:04MJ 56 is a lot of countries you think you can do that in one year and I say to you yes I do believe

03:12I can finish this goal in 2026 I'm going to do nothing else in 2026 besides travel to new countries

03:22nothing else um and I visited 22 countries this year um so I believe you guys that I can do this

03:31I really really really really really do so right now I'm in Japan just trying to lay low there's two

03:39reasons why I'm in Japan Japan has been my home base for the last three years um it's very cheap place

03:45to live it's also my favorite place on planet earth and um yeah it's been my home base so I'm

03:50essentially home the reason number two that I'm here is because I'm trying to lay low and fundraise as

03:57much as I possibly can I don't necessarily have the money to visit every country in the world

04:02um it's going to cost so much money for me to finish these 56 countries so I started a GoFundMe

04:11I started my GoFundMe in January of 2025 so I started it like 11 months ago and my goal was to raise

04:1850,000 was like the 10,000 that we raised helped me so much with all the 22 countries I visited this year

04:25but I am buckling down and I am going to try so hard to raise or attempt to raise this entire 50,000

04:34um I need to fundraise my butt off you guys so that has been a little bit of my focus is to just create

04:44content and to um fundraise so that's what I'm doing for the rest of the year my birthday is on December 25th

04:52as well so I turned 30 you guys which is crazy um in like two weeks my birthday is December 25th I'll turn

05:0030 and so yes that's what I'm doing for the rest of the year I will be in Japan by myself

05:06and I'm going to try to fundraise the crap out of everything I'm going to try to ask and call on

05:13whoever I can call on which is you guys you guys have been helping me and I'm just so unbelievably

05:19grateful um a request I don't know if anything like this is possible to finish raising the 50,000

05:28before the year is over uh because it took all year to raise the 10 so like you know I don't know

05:35but I'm going to attempt so if you can if you've ever watched any video that you've enjoyed if you've

05:42been riding with me for years if you were here during China if you were here during Afghanistan if you were

05:48here during my South American journeys if anything I've ever said has resonated with you if I've ever

05:53helped you with any travel advice or any personal advice if there's anything you ever enjoyed for my

05:59channel could you donate $10 I'm not asking for a $500 donation if you can donate that we accept

06:08but um I'm not asking for that if you could donate $10 to my GoFundMe I believe that is the only way

06:19that I'm going to possibly have a chance at raising this money the 50,000 I'm trying to raise I'm trying

06:25to visit 56 countries in 2026 and it's some of the countries alone are going to cost me $20,000 like

06:32Tuvalu that's going to cost me $20,000 alone um there's so many visas and flights and um it's so

06:40expensive I honestly can't do it without you guys so um I'm just asking for $10 if you could donate

06:46$10 and today it would be so helpful a lot of people say MJ I wish I could help um but I can't

06:55donate thousands of dollars to you and I'm like no no no no no I know everybody has their own stuff going on

07:01never am I asking for thousands of dollars or anything or even hundreds just 10 10 because I

07:09believe that is the way um that the only possible way that I'm going to fundraise is if like a lot

07:15of people do a little bit I don't want to say 10 like it's a little bit of money because it's not

07:21uh but just 10 just $10 could you donate just 10 um to my GoFundMe and I'll keep you guys posted

07:28you will always get from me complete and total transparency you will see me on your YouTube app

07:35every day I'm on here every day you guys you will I'm not going anywhere else or doing anything else I'm

07:42not doing anything besides trying to finish this mission so you can be sure that the $10 you donate

07:48is going to be well spent either on a flight on accommodation on um or gear I've also been trying

07:56to update my gear so I have this dream camera that I've been trying to save up to purchase

08:02so your $10 is either going to go towards like a flight a visa gear for my YouTube channel for

08:11filming I want to buy a new camera or it's going to go towards like anything travel related with one

08:16of these last 56 countries um yeah and you'll see me every day guys every day I'm going to be here

08:23on YouTube hitting these countries you'll see me in the Middle East and West Africa first week of

08:30January all right so since I'm here for the rest of the year by myself um I'm kind of laying low and

08:37just planning so I'm going to find a cafe to sit down at uh I'm going to go live in a second and

08:43that's it I'm going to go live uh we're going to do some cafe hopping I'm going to stock up on

08:49matcha so that I never run out again in my life um I also want to post a TikTok you guys follow me
