01:51yeah
01:56yeah
01:58That butter is starting to drive me down.
02:13That butter is starting to take me down.
02:17I just left Butter Biscuit and now that butter was so good, but you know, feeling a little
02:27heavy.
02:29Who told me to eat a whole stick of butter?
02:31I don't know.
02:32Now we're going to walk.
02:33I'm going to make sure I walk 20,000 steps today.
02:36No regrets.
02:39The butter is so good, but I ate the whole stick.
02:43You guys, in Ginza on Saturday, they closed the street down on Sunday and Saturday so
02:50that you can walk in the middle of the street.
02:55How cool is that, you guys?
02:57Ginza is my favorite area here and the streets are totally closed down on the weekends so
03:03that people can walk in the middle of the street because there's so many shops in Ginza.
03:09So that's why they close the streets down.
03:11So you can just walk from store to store and shop and you know, you have more space to walk.
03:20I love Ginza.
03:21It's where I'm staying.
03:25It's beautiful.
03:27It's so clean.
03:28A lot of good restaurants here.
03:31Some good places to shop.
03:34I'm just going to walk today.
03:35I'm just walking.
03:36I need to hit 20,000 steps because I ate a whole stick of butter.
03:42Not because I ate a whole stick of butter, but it's a really good reason for me to walk
03:47today 20,000 steps.
03:48I just want to walk and enjoy the present.
03:53I was asking God today when I was praying.
03:57I was asking him, what is something you want me to know or something you want me to feel?
04:05And I feel like I strongly heard from God that he wants me and a lot of people to be content
04:13in the present.
04:14That's the revelation I felt like I got from God today.
04:17He's like so many people are always somewhere else.
04:22You're either dwelling on the past or you're thinking about something you want in the future.
04:29You're so concerned all day long with either the past or the future, something you want.
04:37And it never ends.
04:40We're always wanting something different, something more.
04:44There's some place I'd rather be.
04:47There's a relationship I'd rather be in.
04:49We're not valuing the ones we have.
04:53It's always something in the future that we want.
04:56You know, I have seen on the internet, there's this pastor that just lost his child.
05:01This five-year-old boy just died and he was begging God to bring his child back to life.
05:07He's like, God, I'll do anything if you bring my child back to life.
05:10Unfortunately, his child passed away, but if you're not on the floor begging God to revive
05:16one of your children, you're blessed.
05:20If you don't have to worry about what you're going to eat tonight, you are so blessed.
05:22You just have no, you just have no frame of reference to understand how insanely blessed
05:32there's somebody's dream you're living.
05:36If somebody's dream you're living, you might have a car that you're unhappy with and there's
05:40a person who's just begging God for a car.
05:43You know, you may not have a Lamborghini, but if you have something that takes you from
05:49point A to point B, you're blessed.
05:52And God, I just felt that heavy on my heart today that he was saying, I wish people would
05:58be more content.
06:01That is actually the definition of contentment.
06:04It's not wanting something so that you are content.
06:07It is a state of being.
06:09It's, I right now am okay.
06:11I'm not dead.
06:12I'm not in a grave.
06:14I keep waking up.
06:17I have my health.
06:18And we're not content.
06:20We're always looking at somebody else, looking at something else, wanting something.
06:25And then when we get it, we just want something else.
06:27Anyways, it just changes.
06:29The want changes.
06:32You wanted this dream car, you wanted this dream vacation, and then you go on it or you
06:36have it and then you want something else.
06:39That's how we are as humans.
06:41It's a never ending cycle of want.
06:44And even me, I'm in Japan right now, there are people who dream of coming here.
06:51And although I love and enjoy it, I'm going to be very honest and I'm going to say to you
06:55that I stress a lot about my travels.
06:59I stress about how am I going to get to 56 countries this year.
07:03You guys know I'm on a mission to visit 56 countries this year.
07:06I'm stressed about how am I going to get here and there and there.
07:09And I'm like, wait, Mary Jane, slow down, slow down.
07:16You can accomplish things without being stressed and unhappy.
07:21You can also be somebody who accomplishes things, but you can do it in peace and contentment.
07:29You can also enjoy the time you're having ahead of you.
07:33Enjoy the job you have now, even if you don't like it.
07:36Enjoy the relationships you have now, even if you want different ones or more.
07:43Whether your best relationship is your coworker or your sister, whoever it is, enjoy it.
07:49Always be wanting, look at this.
07:54A lot of people I noticed come here to bring their pets on photo shoot.
08:00The revelation I got today is when you wake up before your feet hit the floor, you better
08:07look up at God and you better say, I am so grateful that I'm still here.
08:16For whatever I have now, the clothes I have now, the shoes I have now, the relationships
08:20I have now.
08:22And you are going to notice the peace that comes with that.
08:25Look, there's a street performer.
08:26I'm sorry, I'm not laughing in the mirror.
08:41That was funny though.
08:45How cute was that?
08:57That was one of the worst performances I've ever seen in my life.
09:00But he was so sweet about it.
09:02Can you see the purse?
09:05Only in Japan can you leave your purse wide open in the middle of the street.
09:10But anyways, yeah, enjoy right now.
09:16Right now.
09:18Not tomorrow.
09:19Not next week.
09:20Not when you go on vacation.
09:22Not when you get the man of your dreams.
09:24Not when you get the woman of your dreams.
09:27Today.
09:28There's something special about today because it's the only thing that exists.
09:34Look at this guys, look at this pooch.
09:51In Kinsa, a lot of people do that.
09:54Like I noticed a lot of people are here to show off their animals all dressed up.
10:00I don't know how I feel about that dogs are not humans.
10:05They don't want to be wearing sunglasses, you know, but whatever.
10:09Oh boy, we've gotten like, I don't know how many steps so far, I could just walk here
10:18all day.
10:20Not here, but really just around Tokyo all day and it's way less crowded.
10:25This is not crowded, by the way, because all the tourists have gone home.
10:31The last three weeks have been insane in Japan because it was like tourist season.
10:36So everybody was in Japan and it was a little bit unbearable.
10:42But, um, things have returned back to normal.
10:47Things are a lot more streamlined, things are okay.
10:51You guys, I am at this matcha.
11:17This is so cool, so this is a matcha cafe by Yamaha.
11:22Yamaha has a pop-up cafe.
11:25It's just a pop-up, though, but how cool is that?
11:29And they're using the famous, uh, very popular matcha from Japan.
11:36I'm excited, I got myself an ice matcha latte.
11:39And then they asked me what instrument I wanted on the latte and I said a piano because I'm
11:46a pianist.
11:47If you know, you know, I started, I was going to school for that until I dropped out.
11:52How cool.
11:53How cool.
11:59Okay, you guys, I just got the most beautiful matcha I've ever had in my life.
12:14I'm at the Yamaha pop-up matcha cafe, they put a piano on top of my matcha, I'm dying.
12:29They put a lot of quality matchas in all of Japan.
12:36Look at that.
12:39Beautiful, it's so pretty.
12:42And there's cold foam on top.
12:44Okay, let's try it.
12:50Now that is a matcha.
12:54I swear nobody knows how to make a matcha anymore.
12:58It's not sweet at all.
13:03Oh my gosh, that's so fat.
13:07Hey guys, I'm back in my hotel room now and I'm gonna make my favorite drink.
13:19Recently, let me put you on to my signature drink.
13:23I have my little matcha kit.
13:24Look how dirty it is.
13:26Um, that's because I make myself a matcha.
13:28It's not dirty.
13:29It's just got matcha all over it because I make myself a matcha every single day.
13:35So, I just got a matcha latte at the Yamaha pop-up.
13:41That was so cute.
13:44Okay, so I go get an ice cup from 7-Eleven and then I fill my ice cup with seltzer water.
13:59I love seltzer water.
14:01I used to hate it.
14:03Now I love it.
14:04It's fun water.
14:06So, I fill it up like that much with seltzer water.
14:14Yummy!
14:16Okay.
14:17Then I make myself a matcha.
14:20So, I'm gonna use my marakukuyamai.
14:24This is probably one of the most viral matchas in all of Japan.
14:28It is very expensive, but it is one of the highest quality matchas.
14:34So, and I have to admit I do like it.
14:37So, I just do like two scoops.
14:41One heaping scoop of matcha.
14:45Another heaping scoop of matcha.
14:49Can't lie.
14:51I do really like it even though it's so expensive.
14:55This little tin, you don't want to know.
14:59It's expensive, but it really is some of the highest quality matcha.
15:03You're always straining your matcha, okay?
15:06You're straining our matcha for maximum absorption.
15:13It just gets all the clumps out.
15:16So, I can show you guys all the matcha I've gotten since I've been in Japan.
15:24Okay, so you have your matcha strained.
15:28Then, I'm gonna get some regular water.
15:33Not seltzer water.
15:36And I'm gonna add it to my matcha.
15:43Like that much.
15:49Then, take my matcha whisk.
15:53Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.
15:54You always wanna stamp it first.
15:56And then, you're gonna whisk in a W formation.
16:02Whisk, whisk, whisk, whisk, whisk.
16:08Okay.
16:09I have a little honey packet.
16:23Okay, I have a little honey packet.
16:26I got these.
16:27It's organic honey from the north of Japan.
16:31I'm gonna add that to my matcha mixture.
16:45Turn it on in there.
16:55I've been collecting matcha because I'm obviously going to leave Japan.
16:58And I never wanna run out of matcha.
17:02So, I have a collection.
17:03I'll show you.
17:04I'm not done building my collection, by the way.
17:07I'm just gonna mix the honey in there.
17:09Mixing the honey so it gets all mixed up.
17:18It's a beautiful color.
17:19Beautiful!
17:20That's because Marukukuyamae matcha is extremely high quality.
17:27Okay.
17:28Now, I'm gonna pour my matcha into my seltzer water.
17:37Yummy!
17:39Now, you have like a little matcha soda.
17:42So frickin' good.
17:44Hold on.
17:45I make this every day.
17:48A little matcha soda.
17:49Let's taste it.
17:54Delicious.
17:57Mmm!
17:59Delicious.
18:03You can barely taste the honey.
18:05It's barely there, but it's just enough.
18:09Oh, that's my favorite drink.
18:10Okay.
18:12My little matcha kit.
18:13The two matchas that I'm consuming right now are the Marukukuyamae.
18:18This is super hard to find.
18:20If you find this matcha, buy it.
18:22If you're into matcha, even though it is expensive.
18:30This is the other one.
18:31The matcha collection.
18:32I've been collecting matcha because I'm not gonna be in Japan forever.
18:37And I never wanna run out of matcha.
18:39So I always stock up every time I come to Japan.
18:42I still need to buy like 10 more matchas.
18:47So that I don't run out in 2026.
18:49Because I ran out in 2025.
18:52Um, and I never want that to happen again.
18:54So I've been collecting matcha.
18:55Let me show you what I've got so far.
18:58Like I said, I'm not done collecting my matcha yet.
19:01But I have an extra bowl.
19:05I've got these two.
19:06That's the one I'm consuming right now.
19:08This is, uh, another one I bought.
19:11Because I really like this matcha.
19:13It's like umami.
19:14It's really umami flavored.
19:16This one is from Namakura.
19:18I need to go back and get some more from Namakura.
19:21Um, these are two I got.
19:22I also got these two from, um, this shop is very popular in Kyoto.
19:28This is an Uji Matcha brand.
19:32These are one of my favorite matchas.
19:35I think this is Weko Matcha.
19:37I don't know.
19:38I need to check the label.
19:43But, I got two of these.
19:48Um, you can find this brand in Kyoto.
19:54That's where matcha comes from.
19:57Matcha is from Kyoto.
19:59You know what I find surprising?
20:00How hard it is to find matcha in Tokyo.
20:03It is very hard, surprisingly, to find matcha in Tokyo.
20:09If you want to go matcha shopping.
20:11If you're into matcha.
20:12And you want to go buy yourself matcha.
20:15You need to go to Kyoto, Japan.
20:18That is where matcha is from.
20:20And you can buy matcha everywhere.
20:23It's all over the place.
20:24Tokyo, you have to hunt and track matcha down.
20:28It's easy to get a matcha latte.
20:30But, to actually buy matcha so you can make matcha yourself.
20:33You've got to go to Kyoto.
20:35Okay.
20:36So, I got two of these.
20:37I also picked up.
20:39This is Ipairo.
20:41I need to go back to Ipairo.
20:43This isn't Ipairo Matcha.
20:45This is Wakaki.
20:47This is Ipairo Wakaki Matcha.
20:49If you're not into matcha, like the rest of us.
20:52A lot of us are obsessed with matcha.
20:54If you're not obsessed, then you might not know that there's a thousand different types of matcha.
21:00Tons.
21:01Kind of exactly like coffee.
21:03There is a ton of different types of coffee, right?
21:06You probably know that.
21:07It's the same with matcha.
21:09There's different kinds.
21:10There's different...
21:11There's not different blends.
21:12But there's different...
21:14They all come from different leaves that have been harvested differently.
21:18And different concentrations.
21:20So, you've got different flavor profiles.
21:22Some are really sweet.
21:23Some are really bitter.
21:24Some are really umami.
21:26Some are really grassy.
21:27Some are made from matcha lattes.
21:29That would be the lower quality matchas.
21:31If you're getting low quality matcha, that's the matcha that you want to make in your lattes.
21:37If you're getting very high quality matcha, you don't want to mix that with milk.
21:41Because it's so high quality.
21:42It's packed with antioxidants.
21:44It's very, very, very, very good for you.
21:47So, it would be something that you'd only make tea with or whatever.
21:51Um, so yeah.
21:52There are different quality of matcha.
21:55There are different types.
21:56There's different concentrations.
21:58And there is definitely very low quality matcha and very high quality matcha.
22:05That has to be said.
22:06You know what I'm saying?
22:07So, all of these matchas that I'm buying in Kyoto, I've done a ton of research about.
22:12You don't just want to go buying matcha just because it says matcha.
22:16It could be total crap.
22:17You know what I'm saying?
22:18The higher quality you're going, usually it's the more expensive it is.
22:22Because matcha is not cheap.
22:24There's only one harvest season for matcha.
22:27You can't harvest matcha all year.
22:29So, that's why matcha is expensive.
22:32Um, and I only buy the high quality matchas.
22:36Maybe I'll make a whole video about this.
22:38But you don't want to come to Japan or go anywhere and waste your money on cheap SHIT
22:43that they're calling matcha.
22:45You know what I'm saying?
22:46It's kind of like the difference between instant coffee and like a coffee ceremony in Ethiopia.
22:52Like they're not the same.
22:53You know what I'm saying?
22:54It's like don't even make a Dunkin Donuts coffee and try to compare it with like a coffee from Ethiopia.
23:00But anyways, these are good quality matchas.
23:04Again, like anything else, the higher, the more expensive the matcha is, the higher the quality.
23:10So, these tend to be high quality matchas.
23:13But I, for me, this is really important.
23:15I'm not a coffee drinker.
23:16I do not consume coffee.
23:18Matcha is my thing.
23:20So, I invest in matcha.
23:22And honestly, for me, it's kind of like a healthcare thing.
23:25I almost never get sick.
23:27I've been listening to people cough and hack and all this stuff.
23:31And I don't get sick that often.
23:33I feel like it benefits my skin.
23:35My skin glows so much when I'm drinking matcha.
23:38It helps prevent colds.
23:41It is a cancer killer.
23:43It is good for your hair and skin.
23:46It's just an all around amazing thing.
23:49So, for me, this is like my medicine.
23:51This is like my cold medicine.
23:54It's my antioch.
23:55Like, it's everything.
23:56So, I invest.
23:57Every time I come to Japan, I stock up on matcha.
24:01Because I drink it year-round.
24:03So, I never want to run out.
24:04So, that was just a long way to explain this.
24:07So, I also got this matcha.
24:09This one is from Shukiri.
24:12I love this brand.
24:13I have two from Shukiri.
24:14Oh, yeah.
24:15My other one's in here.
24:16So, this brand is a very old Japanese brand.
24:21Shukiri started making matcha back in the 1600s.
24:25So, this is a very, very, very good brand of matcha.
24:29You can buy this brand in Kyoto where you can buy all matcha.
24:36These are two Shukiri brands.
24:39This one is a higher grade than this one.
24:42So, if I were to make a matcha latte, I'd make it with like this one.
24:47Or, I'd make it with this matcha.
24:52But, the rest of these matchas, it would be the biggest disgrace to be making matcha lattes.
24:58So, I'm very specific with the matchas I use for lattes.
25:01But, my little matcha seltzer drink.
25:06Ah, it's so good to me.
25:10Anyways.
25:11So, I've got my little matcha collection.
25:15I'll probably get maybe 10 more before I leave.
25:21Like I said.
25:22Because I want it to last me the entire 2026.
25:25I also have an extra whisk in here.
25:31Just in case.
25:32One breaks or whatever.
25:34Because you need to be able to strain your matcha.
25:36I also have extra Chasins.
25:39I like the cute little handheld mini ones.
25:42I also have extra.
25:45You always have to scoop your matcha with a bamboo spoon.
25:49You cannot scoop out matcha with a metal spoon.
25:53The metal will pull on the pH balance of the matcha.
25:57So, it's a hold to do.
26:01So, like I said, I also have an extra bowl.
26:03I'm going to send my mom some of these too.
26:05I want my mom to start drinking matcha.
26:07I want her to stop drinking coffee.
26:09So, I've been trying to get her on the matcha train.
26:12So, I have some matcha in here for my mom.
26:15I'm going to send her.
26:17I also got her.
26:19How cute is this little matcha stand?
26:22It's for your Chasin.
26:23It's for the matcha whisk to like stand on here.
26:26I'm going to send this to my mom.
26:28I'm going to try to get mother on matcha.
26:33Okay, we're good.
26:35And I also have here some vitamins I've been buying.
26:40I've been stocking up on Japanese supplements.
26:43Because Japan makes the best supplements.
26:45I love this vitamin C.
26:48This vitamin C I take every day.
26:50It's a vitamin C supplement.
26:52I have some people to thank today.
26:54I've been fundraising to help me complete this goal of visiting every country in the world.
27:00I leave very soon to head to West Africa to finish visiting all of it.
27:07I need to go there and visit the entire region.
27:11This is the year that I plan on finishing my goal of visiting every country in the world.
27:16So, I have a GoFundMe.
27:17I think we have raised exactly...
27:20In one year, we raised $11,000.
27:24I want to reach...
27:25I want to raise the whole thing.
27:26I want to get the whole thing raised.
27:28So, I've been fundraising for that.
27:31So, I have a chart.
27:34I said I asked for $30 donation.
27:39It goes to a visa, accommodation, flight, or hotel cost this year.
27:44And a $100 donation goes towards a piece of tech.
27:47If you could make a donation to my GoFundMe, it would be magical.
27:52It would be so helpful.
27:54Even if it were $10, it adds up.
27:57Very much adds up.
28:00Everything helps.
28:01So, yeah, we raised $11,000.
