00:20children into schools like USC, Yale and Georgetown. This bust by the FBI was
00:26called the largest college admission scandal ever and went by the name Operation
00:31Varsity Blues. Some of the arrests at the time included two SAT slash ACT
00:36administrators, one exam proctor, nine coaches at elite schools, one college
00:40administrator and 33 parents who reportedly paid up to $6.5 million to get
00:46their kids into college. Some even convinced college coaches to put their
00:50children onto teams despite them not playing sports and even went as far as
00:55to photoshop them onto photos of athletes to really sell the idea. Felicity Huffman
01:00who ironically played in Desperate Housewives and Lori Loughlin who plays
01:05Aunt Becky in Full House and Fuller House were two of the parents involved in the scam.
01:10At the time the news broke Lori's daughter Olivia Jade was already facing
01:14backlash on her YouTube channel for posting a video where she claimed she
01:17didn't care about school and was more focused on game days and partying. Olivia had
01:22already apologized for what she said in the video but then her parents alleged
01:26actions made the wave of backlash even worse. Her comment sections were on fire
01:31and she disappeared from social media from March 2019 until December 2019.
01:37During her time away Olivia reportedly lost a handful of sponsorship deals and her
01:41influencer status took a big nosedive. She and her sister Isabella feared
01:45returning to USC due to the possibility of bullying. She reportedly slammed her parents
01:50for dragging her into the drama and was nearly forced to testify against them.

02:03guilty to their alleged roles in the scandal making them the 23rd and 24th parents to do so.
02:09Lori will plead guilty to a single count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud and be sentenced to
02:15two months in jail pay a $150,000 fine and have two years of supervised release with 100 hours of community service.
02:23Her husband will plead guilty to quote one count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud and honest services wire and mail fraud.
02:31He'll serve five months in prison pay a $250,000 fine and spend two months in supervised release with 250 hours of community service.
