00:36Do you have a first memory of watching the Oscars?

01:00So, Get Out's here. It's being honored in such a huge way.
01:02What does it mean for you as a part of the film and, you know, for all of the fans of the film to be honored at the Oscars?
01:10It's really, really nice. I'm really, really happy that there's a platform for, you know, more people to hear about the movie and more people just to get involved in this conversation.
01:18It's something personal to me, like, so it feels good to see something like that up on a big platform.
01:24All of us, you know, we just huddled together and created something that we thought was special and, like, the world agreed with us and that's awesome.
01:31And, yeah, thanks to the Oscars for just, you know, acknowledging us.
01:35Yeah. And you're actually, I normally don't ask about outfits, but you're wearing something very special tonight. Can you tell us a little bit about it?

01:51And it feels good. Yeah.
01:53Okay, and it's been such a long awards season, such a long, you know, process for this film from debuting a year ago to festivals to screenings to campaigning.
02:04So, what are you most looking forward to tomorrow when you get to decompress and relax a little bit?
02:09Well, actually, tomorrow I have to go straight into filming because I have a very, very hard scene tomorrow.
02:14So, yeah, I'm just going to be kind of meditating until then, just kind of just getting away from my ego a little bit.
02:20This will, like, make your ego crazy. So, after this, I'm going to just, like, forget that I'm a person for a little while.
02:25You're going to become humble again. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
