00:00Tuesday, two weeks ago, set the scene at about 5 a.m. for us, would you?
00:05We decided we weren't going to set an alarm.
00:07We were just like, if we get up, Destiny calls us to get up,
00:11and instead our cat woke us up right before.
00:13Yeah, I woke up.
00:15Well, the cat woke you up.
00:16Yeah, and then I was like, Emily, do you want to watch?
00:20She was like, yeah.
00:21And so we turned on the iPad, and we watched,
00:25and then when they set up Andy Serkis.
00:27Andy Serkis.
00:28Says the Big Six, says our names,
00:30and we both screamed and cried and laughed
00:33and then went right back to sleep for two more hours,
00:38woke up because we both had to go to work,
00:41and I turned my phone off that day, and I didn't look at my phone.
00:44I called my mom and my dad.
00:46I think you're leaving out a little detail, Camille.
00:49Did you possibly tweet at Emily?
00:51Yes, I did.
00:52I was like, Oscar nominee.
00:54That was the first thing, I think, yeah, that you did.
00:56Oscar nominee.
00:57So am I.
00:58Yeah.
00:59But then, you know, I looked.
01:00When I woke up, I had 99 text chains, new text chains.
01:03I got 99 text chains, but not being nominated for an Oscar.
01:07It's not one.
01:07No, that doesn't work at all.
01:08I think they were all actually about that.
01:10So I turned my phone off, and I didn't look at it until the next day.
01:13Someone asked me to do a podcast.
01:14That was the first email I had.
01:15Someone asked me to do a podcast, unrelated,
01:18had not heard about the nominees, and I was like,
01:19don't you know?
01:21No.
01:21I just called my parents.
01:23I said no.
01:23That's the only people I talk to.
01:25At this point, you've probably heard every variation of every question that you could be asked.
01:30What is the one question you hope you never have to hear again?
01:33Emily, let's start.
01:33Oh, my God.
01:34Really?
01:35Be careful.
01:35It's not nice.
01:37People will feel bad.
01:38Genuine curiosity, but if I've never asked,
01:41what's it like to have someone play you in a movie, I'm okay with that.
01:44I understand needing to ask the question,
01:46but I think Joey and I were joking today, actually,
01:49like we should just start being like, I hate her.
01:52And if it wasn't for the patriarchy, we probably would do that.
01:56How is the patriarchy stopping you from doing that?
01:58Because the patriarchy makes women hate each other.
02:00Oh, I see.
02:01Because I was going to be like, the patriarchy is bad,
02:03but it's not everything is.
02:05But maybe most things are.
02:06All right. Well, and how about you?
02:09I get asked that same question, too.
02:11You know, honestly, for me, a lot of personal questions people ask about,
02:15like, my parents and stuff, and that feels weird to me
02:18because they didn't sign on to have their lives be so public.
02:21So if it's a question about my real parents, I get a little cagey now.
02:26Well, I'm very excited that they got this one right.
02:30So congratulations.
02:31Thank you so much.
02:33Great seeing you.
02:34You too.
02:35Thanks.
