00:00Staycation, UK based, hands down, Northumberland.
00:04Fantastic beaches, wonderful people, beautiful scenery, excellent beer,
00:10although I'm not meant to have any at the minute.
00:12Highly recommended, but keep it a secret, don't tell anybody.
00:15I like to travel all the way to Cornwall and stay in Cornwall where I've visited a couple of times.
00:24I like the zoo, I manage to see the zoo and all the coastline.
00:28Paris is probably my favourite city outside the UK, mainly because of the jazz and the history of jazz.
00:41Lytham I found is a lovely little town by the sea in Lancashire and it's very old-worldly
00:48and I really enjoy it there, there's a nice beach nearby that I go to.
00:54I would recommend another place in the Lake District, I think it's in Windermere, it's got a lovely hotel,
01:00it's kind of like chic, kind of like modern, but it's also got a nice little traditional flavour to it as well.
01:05It's got a lovely like indoor spa, massive lake, you can go canoeing, it's great for the family
01:10and great for couples as well if you just want to get away.
01:13As a abroad, it would just have to be Jamaica, that's where I'm from, so that's where you should go.
01:19Beautiful place, go Dunns River Falls, go Ocho Rios, go Montego Bay, go Nine Mile Village, check all of that and have a great time.
01:27Eat the lovely food as well.
01:28I'd recommend Whitby, it's full of character, lots of nice places to eat and abroad, I like Benel Medina, Malaga.
01:40Turkey is where I've been which I love, it's very cosmopolitan, it's a nice balance between history and culture,
01:48it's that bridge between the east and the west, so there's so many things to do, there's a lot of history there, there's museums you can visit.
01:55Suffolk is probably the staycation, and then last year we spent two weeks in Kefalonia, which I can't recommend enough.
02:02We're going to go back this year, but it's absolutely wonderful, the people, the food.
02:08I always go to Scarborough, because there's a lovely contrast of the North Bay, which is quite peaceful,
02:15and the South Bay, which is nice and lively, so if you take the kids, grandkids, South Bay,
02:20if you go with your partner or whoever, or on your own, the North Bay is idyllic.
02:29But I do like Apple Treewick, which is near Burns Hall, and there's a pub there called the Craven Arms,
02:37and it is just quintessentially English.
02:41I like going to Spain, and my past couple of holidays have been in Spain,
02:45where I've driven up Rondo Mountain in Costa del Sol.
02:51Anywhere in Scandinavia, Stockholm is beautiful, any time of the year,
02:56maybe not November, but yeah, it's beautiful.
