00:00Right, so you're an opponent of President Zelenskyy, but you agree with this stance that whilst aerial bombardment is taking place of your country and part of your country is under Russian occupation, it would be impossible for elections to take place.
00:15And this is something we've heard.
00:16Absolutely. Just imagine one thing to you. First historical example, United Kingdom.
00:22There was no elections between 1935 and 1945, despite the fact that there was no ground fighting on the territory of the islands itself.
00:33But because of German bombardments, they couldn't do this. And we have land fighting.
00:39And we have everyday land fighting. And plus bombardments of Russians throughout the whole country.
00:45We have, unfortunately, a very tragic, for example, one event. It was the last goodbye to one person in a village not far from the front line in Kharkiv region.
01:00And one Russian missile came. And I think 60 people were killed in a moment.
01:05Just imagine how we will provide security to people coming to the Poland stations. How can we do this?
01:11Right. Well, President Zelenskyy has said that he's happy to hold elections.
01:16He can do so, he says, within, let's say, a three-month time period.
01:20That seemed to be the time frame he was suggesting, if security is guaranteed.
01:26Do you think he'd win an election if an election was held in three months from now?
01:30First of all, I didn't get his last comment about this because I can't understand what does it mean.
01:36So after these three months, again, the war, the war will be stopped just for three months.
01:41What does it mean? I can't get it.
01:43So I think my personal view is next.
01:46We need to end the war. We need to have sustainable peace.
01:50And after this, definitely, we need to have elections.
01:53But after the war will be finished.
01:55And not just in the middle of the war.
01:57Because I can't imagine what did they mean and what did Zelenskyy mean by saying this.
02:03Speaking about his chances, it's subjective, you know.
02:06I can't speak on behalf of all Ukrainian people.
02:09I can tell you just my personal thought.
02:11My personal thought is that Mr. Zelenskyy has no chances to be re-elected.
02:18And it doesn't matter much when the elections will happen.
02:22But it's my personal view.
02:24By the way, Zelenskyy himself promised when he ran for the first time in 2019.
02:29He said that I'm running at that time just for one term.
02:34So one term it was five years.
02:36Now he's the president already for six and a half.
02:39So I think the best thing for him would be not even not to run.
