00:31I don't want to say a good message, but it has the right message, I feel like,
00:34and people need to see things that they don't want to see in order to actually understand what's going on in our country right now.
00:39So I love when people really, like, push the boundaries and do things that are controversial but are for the better, so, yeah.
00:44Yeah, they have that, like, music with a message. Are you, and, you know, you're probably, are you working on some new music right now?
00:50I am, yeah. I'm currently making my album.
00:51That's so exciting. Do you have anything that's along those lines, kind of like Childish Gambino did?
00:56Um, I mean, I do have actually one political-esque song that I, yeah, I would love to shoot, like, some sort of cool music video to, but we'll see.

01:06Why is that important to you? Why is it important to you to kind of use your celebrity as, you know, a platform?
01:10Yeah, I mean, I just think, like, if I have a voice, I might as well use it.
01:13I don't think that it should be something that's taken for granted, and I take it very, very seriously.
01:16Um, I don't, I don't like to just post selfies all day, and, you know, be, so I don't want people to think that, like, all I care about is, all you should care about, rather, is what you look like or what you're being portrayed as.
01:26You should just be yourself and post what you want and enjoy your life, you know?

01:30Yeah, no, I love that, like, a badass, unapologetic attitude, and it's great for women right now.

02:35So many people.
02:36I mean, I've always been inspired by Amy Winehouse and Aretha Franklin, who we sadly lost this week.
02:42But I think that people like that, their music will live on forever, regardless of them actually being alive or not.
02:48I feel like they have made such an impact on the industry and the actual female path that we take as women.
02:54And they're both such soulful, real artists.
02:56And that's something I love about Amy as well.
02:58Obviously, we lost her much longer ago.
03:00But she literally, on the red carpet of things, people will be like, oh, you look awesome.
