00:00I want your girl, man.
00:11Stop.
00:12Bro, you better get your ass out of here.
00:14Stop it.
00:14You get your ass out of here.
00:15Well, do something.
00:16Stop.
00:17Come on, clown.
00:18Stop.
00:18Come on, clown.
00:20Bad .
00:21Come on with it, dog.
00:23Do you make logical sense?
00:24That's what you say?
00:25Now you need security?
00:26Yes, because you're being crazy.
00:28I'm being what?
00:29I'm being crazy because I'm asking for a logical explanation why we can't get on the plane.
00:36Hey, can you tell my please?
00:43No.
00:44No.
00:45That's fair.
00:46Three, two, one, go.
00:47Run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run.
00:56Customer complaints are at an all-time high, putting workers on the defensive.
01:03And with labor shortages, supply chain woes, and a 40% rise in violent retail crime, it's
01:13an all-out battle at the checkout.
01:20The customer is always right.
01:21Call the cops.
01:22It's just plain wrong.
01:23I am a customer!
01:24I am a customer, too, Becky.
01:26You're welcome, Becky!
01:27Ah!
01:30Once upon a time, airlines included the necessary elements of plane travel and the price of
01:36one ticket.
01:37ticket. But these days, passengers are faced with additional costs for everything, from
01:42meals, to seat selection, to checked bags, and even carry-on luggage. So airlines be
01:50warned. When policies meet resistance from customers, tensions with employees can sometimes
01:57reach a tipping point.
02:07Like this altercation, which reportedly began when this employee confronted this customer
02:17for using a wheelchair to transport his suitcases, instead of paying for a $5 luggage cart.
02:37Other staff members step in to calm the situation. And according to news reports, the customer
02:45is arrested for simple assaults, though the charges are later dropped. In a statement
02:50to the media, the airline says they do not tolerate violence of any kind, and the employee
02:56is terminated. But even when things don't become physical, a tense back and forth could
03:03have potentially serious consequences for everyone.
03:06At an airport in Texas, a couple is being denied boarding, because according to this gate agent,
03:19their backpack does not fit the airline's free personal item size requirements.
03:24It fits. We just saw it fit.
03:27But even though the passenger's bag apparently does fit in the
03:33sizer, the employee continues boarding without them.
03:38Okay, so I need you guys to move out the way.
03:40We're trying to get on our flight, though, you know what I mean?
03:42You're not going on the flight.
03:43We're not going on the flight now?
03:44No, because you already boarded as a security.
03:47Apparently, the man's boarding pass was already scanned. But because he was helping his girlfriend
03:52with her luggage issue, he did not get on the plane. And now the airline employee is refusing
03:59to let him board.
04:00I'm not going to leave my partner. Does that make any logical sense, ma'am?
04:04Do you make logical sense?
04:06How is that a rebuttal?
04:07What?
04:08You don't have a...
04:08You're not unprofessional you sound right now?
04:10Do you make logical sense? That's what you said?
04:12I need security.
04:13Now you need security?
04:14Yes, because you're being crazy.
04:16I'm being what?
04:17Crazy.
04:17I'm being crazy because I'm asking for a logical explanation why we can't get on the plane?
04:21If you turn the camera around...
04:23Uh-huh.
04:23It's in the theater corner.
04:25It's in there right now, ma'am.
04:29Fortunately, both parties managed to keep relatively cool in this standoff.
04:34What's your name, ma'am?
04:35I just called you Liz.
04:36Liz?
04:37Liz.
04:39And after agreeing to pay the $100 carry-on bag fee rather than risk further confrontation
04:45and delays, and settling a last-minute snafu with a boarding pass, the couple is finally
04:59allowed to board the plane with their backpack that fits under the seat.
05:05While the passengers were eventually given vouchers for the airlines, haggling over baggage costs
05:14and potentially being barred from boarding one's flight is not how anyone wants to spend
05:19their vacation time.
05:21No, it does not fit.
05:22Yeah.
05:24It fits.
05:24We just saw it fit.
05:26So remember, airline employees have final say on who and what goes on the plane.
05:32We're trying to get on our flight, though.
05:33You're not going on the flight.
05:34So it's always best to keep calm.
05:37I'm being crazy because I'm asking for a logical explanation why we can't get on the
05:41plane.
05:41And you'll have the best possible chance to carry on.
05:56For adventure-seeking tourists, hang gliding offers a thrilling and scenic experience.
06:01And for those who are new to the sport, tandem flights pair beginners with skilled instructors
06:08who do all the work.
06:11While the customer can simply enjoy the magnificent scenery, as a harness tethers their entire body
06:18safely and securely to the glider.
06:20In Switzerland, Chris Gursky is atop a 4,000-foot-high mountain, getting ready to take off on his very first hang gliding flight.
06:35The day in Switzerland was absolutely beautiful that day.
06:39Blue sky and sunny and a little cool.
06:42So I was really excited to do this.
06:45Chris is paired with a professional tandem pilot and clipped into a safety harness.
06:49My pilot had his clip all clipped up and he checked behind me again.
06:54Are you ready?
06:55First one, run.
06:56Yes.
06:56We walked into the edge of the hill and he said, all right, are you ready?
07:00An attached camera captures all the action as Chris begins his flight.
07:04Three, two, one, go.
07:06Run, run, run.
07:06And as soon as we ran off that hill, your feet leave the ground and you're supposed to level
07:16out horizontally with the pilot and you sail away.
07:21Well, as soon as our feet left the ground, he leveled out and I sunk straight down.
07:27It turns out that Chris's safety harness, though fully attached to him, is not attached to the hang glider.
07:35There was no getting to enjoy a second of it.
07:38It immediately went to chaos.
07:43As Chris holds on tightly to the pilot, who's unable to turn the glider around, the ground below quickly falls away.
07:52We were getting way too high to even think about dropping off at this point.
07:56And I realized then that the only thing holding me onto the hang glider was my hands.
08:05So I was concentrating on holding on for my life.
08:11The pilot is immediately aware that Chris is in serious trouble.
08:15He looked at my back and I think he realized pretty quickly that I was unattached.
08:20But at this point, there's very little he can do.
08:23He just yelled down, hold.
08:25He knew that this was a life-or-death situation.
08:31It took me a couple seconds to kind of figure out what's going on here.
08:47And I thought I did something wrong.
08:49I thought, you know, there's something wrong with the glider.
08:51The glider is fine, but Chris's safety harness is not clipped in.
08:57Meaning the only thing preventing him from falling off is the grip his right hand has on the pilot.
09:04My right hand kept slipping off of anywhere I was holding on to.
09:09So I ended up reaching up on my left hand and grabbing on to the bar, which is actually the landing here.
09:14The pilot reaches down to try and help, but it's nearly impossible to both grip Chris and safely control the glider.
09:32He grabs at Chris's left hand, trying to hold him in place.
09:38Then reaches down for Chris's harness for a more secure hold.
09:44Which seems to allow Chris the opportunity to grab onto the pilot's left leg with his right hand.
09:51But still, things are not looking good for him.
09:56At one point, I looked down, and I'm thinking to myself, this is such a beautiful day.
10:01The trees are changing colors, and I'm going to fall to my death here.
10:07And at that point in time, I just said, no, not going to happen.
10:11So I tried to stay calm and just hold on with everything I had.
10:17For two minutes and 14 seconds, Chris clings to the landing gear and the instructor.
10:23How I held on that long, I don't know.
10:26By the very end, my hand was starting to open up.
10:29My fingers were starting to open.
10:33Finally, the pilot locates a safe place to land.
10:37Most people think I jumped off or let go.
10:44But my feet actually scraped the grass, and it just ripped my grip free.
10:49And I was going about 45 miles an hour, so it's like getting someone out of a car or something, you know.
10:55That's the closest to death I've ever come in my entire life.
11:00That's when I felt my wrist was a dull pain in my wrist, and I looked down, and I saw the bone was kind of bulged out a little bit, and I pretty much knew it was broken.
11:10But I was alive still, so that's a big plus.
11:16Chris is rushed into surgery.
11:18They had to put a titanium plate in with seven screws, and I ended up tearing a bicep tendon, probably due to the fact that I was holding out with this hand the longest for taking most of the weight.
11:31Though the mishap might have been prevented with a more thorough safety check, Chris harbors no resentment towards the instructor.
11:38It was human error, and he stayed with us the whole time in the hospital, and he ended up being a stand-up kind of guy, you know.
11:47I mean, it was an accident, so I don't really have any bad feelings about him.
11:53I would not deter anybody from trying hand gliding.
11:57It is absolutely fantastic.
11:59And as a silver lining, Chris believes the sport is safer than ever, thanks to him.
12:05Now there's hang checks, and your pilot and yourself get strapped in, and you lay on the ground pretty much with the glider, and you're hanging from it off the ground.
12:16Three, two, one, go. Run, run, run, run, run.
12:19Which is great news for all future riders, hoping to avoid a terrifying adventure like this.
12:29While online sales continue to grow, many customers still enjoy shopping in person, despite the fact that it does occasionally make them vulnerable to one very unpredictable element.
12:45Hey, can you tell me the f*** of this?
12:46No.
12:47No.
12:48Online pranksters.
12:50No.
12:51That's fair.
12:52Who can't seem to resist an apparently endless stream of victims.
12:56What the f***?
12:57But pranksters be warned, not everyone likes to be the butt of a joke.
13:06Excuse me, man.
13:07In Dallas, Texas.
13:10Oh, here you go.
13:12Call me sometime. I'm single.
13:14Huh?
13:15Call me sometime. I'm single.
13:17I need a sugar mama.
13:18A prankster tries to get a rise out of shopping couples.
13:22Yeah.
13:23Where's the punk ass?
13:24Hey.
13:25Come on. Come sometimes. I need a sugar mama.
13:29You got a problem?
13:32The young man and his counterpart take turns offering their numbers to women in the store.
13:39Excuse me, how you doing?
13:40Um, you look good. You took my number?
13:43Uh, my boyfriend's my boyfriend.
13:45That's your boyfriend?
13:46Okay.
13:46Hoping to capture an online worthy reaction from their male companions.
13:51You can't. You can't.
13:52Multitask, bro.
13:53She can't take my number, bro.
13:54Oh, I see what you're trying to do.
13:56What you mean?
13:57Oh, you're trying to do.
13:58Some are quick to catch on.
14:00What you talking about?
14:02I'm for real.
14:03No, bro.
14:04Why not?
14:05I'm okay.
14:05No.
14:06I hear about your message.
14:07Damn, bro.
14:08That's crazy.
14:09Hello?
14:14Excuse me. How you doing?
14:15You look really gorgeous. I wish you'd have took my number.
14:18Uh, no, sir. That's my man right here. Thank you, though.
14:21Oh, no. He good. He good. He good.
14:23Those who take it seriously are not amused.
14:26Where the f*** are all that, though?
14:27Nah, he got it.
14:28It's me.
14:28How am I supposed to know that's your man, though?
14:30You see me and her walk around here?
14:31That could be your f***. That could have been your brother, though.
14:33Which seems to be the kind of reaction the two are looking for.
14:37Come sometimes. I'm single.
14:39What?
14:40I'm single. Come sometimes.
14:41My husband is standing right here.
14:43It don't matter.
14:44And the more they push the limit...
14:46What?
14:46Get the f*** out of here, bro.
14:48What you gonna do, Bob?
14:49Stop. Stop.
14:49The bigger the reaction...
14:51I want your girl, man.
14:52Stop.
14:53Bro, you better get your f***ing ass out of here.
14:55You get your ass out of here.
14:56...until the prank is no longer just fun and games.
15:01Go do some f***.
15:02Come on, clown.
15:03Stop.
15:04Come on, clown.
15:07Even as the couple appear to put two and two together,
15:10the prankster pushes his luck.
15:12Bro, and I don't know who this man is.
15:14I just want your woman, man.
15:15I'm telling you, come on, let's go outside and we'll fight for it.
15:17How about that? Come on. Come on.
15:18Let's go.
15:19Come on.
15:20I think y'all's having fun.
15:21Apparently, keeping up the charade as the husband boils over.
15:26Hey, children, bro.
15:27You gotta set a s*** in your pants.
15:29You a s***?
15:30You gotta set a s*** in your pants.
15:31Yeah, that's what you know, bro.
15:32You'll take your ass to the parking lot.
15:33No.
15:33And you got your big homie right here to take your back
15:35just in case it goes south for you.
15:37And it soon becomes unclear.
15:39If I ever see your s*** outside the store again,
15:42I will beat you to a bit, dog.
15:45I don't play around like that, bro.
15:46If either party will back down,
15:49that's the mother of my s*** children, homie.
15:51I don't give a damn.
15:52Bro, you gotta set a s*** in your s*** fucking life.
15:54Hey, come on.
15:55Come on.
15:56I know this.
15:56Come on.
15:57Let's go.
15:57I got four people.
15:58Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on.
15:59Until the woman's cooler head finally seems to prevail.
16:05It's unclear if there are any repercussions.
16:09And while it seems the risks this prankster takes
16:11are all in an effort to get more hits.
16:14You get your hands out of here.
16:15Go do something.
16:16Come on, clown.
16:17They might not be the kind of hits.
16:21You don't want your woman, man.
16:22I'm trying to miss you.
16:22Come on, let's go outside and we'll fight for it.
16:24How about that?
16:24Come on.
16:25He's looking for.
16:26If I ever see your s*** outside the store again,
16:28I will beat you to a bit, dog.
16:31When it comes to protecting a business establishment
16:39from potential assailants,
16:40no matter where it is in the world,
16:43it is generally advisable that employees don't fight back,
16:47especially if there are any weapons involved.
16:51But there are times when workers ought to take the risk
16:54to save both their stores and themselves.
16:58In Brazil.
17:01Two people pull up to a gas station on a motorcycle.
17:05And as an attendant prepares to fill their tank,
17:16one of the riders appears to rush towards him.
17:23And the attendant promptly reacts.
17:31It's unknown if they suffer any repercussions
17:35other than being doused with fuel.
17:38But fortunately for this employee,
17:40it was more than enough to drive them away
17:42and keep him safe from harm.
17:44But not all employees have such a strong defense
17:48in the palm of their hand.
17:51At a shop in Colombia,
17:54an employee is on the phone
17:56when two men wearing helmets enter the establishment
17:59with what appears to be
18:02an ulterior motive.
18:12One of them pulls out what appears to be a gun
18:14and then leaps over the counter.
18:20The man seems to immediately go for the employee's watch,
18:25prompting the employee to fight back.
18:28Though he manages to take off with the watch,
18:33the employee appears to get in two solid hits
18:37with her cell phone,
18:38which sends them running off.
18:42It's unknown if the men are caught.
18:44But even though the two were no match
18:47for this lone employee,
18:49in any business,
18:52it always helps to have backup.
18:56At a smoke shop in New Jersey,
19:00a customer who seems to be showing an employee
19:03a small flare gun
19:04appears to try and load it,
19:10prompting the employee and his sister,
19:12who also works there,
19:13to spring into action.
19:17Then another employee,
19:19their mother,
19:20runs out with her phone
19:21and goes to get help.
19:29Eventually,
19:31the siblings manage to contain the man.
19:33And according to news reports,
19:36he is later charged with robbery,
19:38possession of a weapon,
19:39possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes,
19:42and resisting arrest.
19:44It just goes to show
19:45that when not only their livelihood,
19:48but also their family is at stake,
19:51some employees won't hesitate to protect it.
19:55dying to deny all those AMI's self- Focus,
19:59to escape and punishment.
20:05egal.com.
20:05Still,
20:06who are unable oratorybullied,
20:07despite the事情,
20:07Nadia,
20:08上面's 15-6.
20:08I'm sorry because I have buried you awoke it.
20:09But again,
20:09I feel some people in common,
20:10I feel some people were waiting
20:11to get there.
20:11But again,
20:11I feel some people won't hesitate to come
20:13under a risk,
20:14and I not never do,
20:15or if I can do a job solve it.
20:15But again,
20:16and I'm enjoying it.
20:17I did tell them,
20:18because I think I chose to get it.
20:18there for times as well.
20:18and I did tell them its way
