Honduras’ former president Manuel Zelaya urged the communities of Tegucigalpa and Comayagüela to mobilize in order to denounce fraud in the elections held on November 30. Zelaya stated that the Libre Party does not accept the preliminary results broadcast, alleging that the alteration of the source code of the transmission system was part of a plan to manipulate the elections. Marlon Ochoa, member of the National Electoral Council (CNE), supported these concerns by confirming that the software was modified without authorization from the CNE plenary. Ochoa also revealed that 13,000 records presented inconsistencies and that structural faults had been detected since the simulation carried out on November 9.
