The National Emergency System of Honduras delivered conclusive evidence to the Public Prosecutor’s Office denouncing an intimidation campaign against free voting with the involvement of organized crime. On Monday, the 911 service formalized the delivery of certified documentation based on nearly 900 citizen calls made before and during election day on November 30. Reports included more than 630 cases of disturbances at polling stations, 37 direct complaints of intimidation by criminal groups, and 44 cases of vote buying and selling. The package contained audio recordings and detailed documentation of each call, enabling authorities to investigate and prosecute those responsible for undermining the electoral process and violating the will of the people.
