00:00okay well after 25 years we're gonna replace the Vonage the old one put the
00:14new one in there was no charge for this because I've been a customer for so long
00:24now here's the mess and here's the new one so what I first did was take the old AC adapter out
00:36and rerouted the new one in and this seems to have a different end now almost like
00:50one of those S chords or the C chords but when you plug it in first you'll get the power
01:02then you'll see the one and two lines I only have one and on the old one where it used to
01:15say rebooting you won't see that anymore there's a little one of these protectors
01:31then the internet will have that picture of the globe
01:39we'll take a minute or so what I did notice is the new one doesn't have
01:48see how we only have the one ethernet cord that goes in then you have the one and two
02:00phone cords that go in and you see on the back of the old one it had the yellow and the blue so I was
02:15plugging directly into our box what kind of a box do we have here this is new to from spectrum

03:47unplug the
03:50the spectrum box or whatever you have and we'll reboot everything all over again
04:04there's also a button on the back of the net gear
04:06but as you can see on the back of the net gear you'll see
04:12if I can get right in there
04:14there that that's where the yellow cord went in
04:19I'm gonna use the there's the yellow cord maybe I'll put that in later but
04:24I got the blue cord
04:27going from
04:29the spectrum box
04:32to the router
04:33and then I have the
04:37like green cord here
04:39bluish green
04:41just going into one of the
04:43ports
04:48I believe there's a wireless printer
04:55this must go to
04:57the computer in the other room
05:01and this must go to
05:05see what other computer do we have
05:07well there's one that's a 50 foot cord
05:10and that might go to
05:14a laptop
05:16then I have another wireless laptop
05:23but as you can see this is working again I'll have to check for the dial tone
05:31so many electric products today
05:35we've got the five-way here
05:37two one four-way one five-way one sec
05:42and we're gonna have to wait until
05:45all three lights are on
05:47for the phone
05:49we'll check the phone now anyhow
