00:00Welcome to Ireland's Fittest Family.
00:08It's the second of our quarterfinals tonight and we're back in the bog in the gloriously mucky hell and back.
00:15Let's get stuck in.
00:18Come on, Mum.
00:18Come on!
00:20Let's go, go, go, go!
00:24You're there! You're going to need another few yards to go!
00:27Come on!
00:28Two minutes! Let's go, let's go!
00:31Daddy, life! Come on!
00:51Last week in the first of our quarterfinals in the bog, Michael Daris Byrne's family slid out of the competition.
00:57You owe me big time.
00:59Next week, it'll be the turn of Anna Geary's cars taking on Ellen Keane-Steuarts and Davy Fitzgerald's McDonaghs.
01:07But in tonight's second heat, Michael Darrow will be going for the win with the Walshs from Cork.
01:12Nothing fazes the Walshs, let's be honest. They are ready for the bog. This is not a bother to them.
01:17They're up against Dunica's Lenehans, also from Cork.
01:19I'm all in with the Lenehans. This is my last family.
01:23And Andrew Trimble's Hilliards from Kildare.
01:26If it ends up an eliminator today, it'll be a better experience than last time.
01:29The quarterfinals roll on, and tonight we're back in the mud, sweat and mayhem of hell and back.
01:36The battle lines are drawn, but who's calling the shots?
01:39It's time to meet tonight's coaches.
01:42I assume that they're joining me down here, right?
01:44There's no way I came in here by myself.
01:47What?
01:47Ah, here we go. It's so good to have a professional back in the building.
01:53Good on you, Bobby.
01:53Don't it go, Colin?
01:55So is there something particularly unprofessional about us that you're so pleased with Dunica's back?
01:59Yeah, well, actually, I can't eat my words because you are ahead in the game.
02:03I hate to point this out, Dunners.
02:04Yeah, I'm down to one.
02:05You're down to one.
02:05And guess who else is also down to one?
02:07Michael Darrow.
02:08Yes!
02:09And I just hate to point out the obvious here, but if you go, it's going to be really embarrassing
02:14because you're one of the original coaches.
02:16Yeah.
02:17It would be really bad to go.
02:18I'm here to remind you because there's no pressure, Dunners.
02:20Of course.
02:21But honestly, Laura, if there was an event that suited me, like the Bog is my personality,
02:26saps the energy out of everyone.
02:27I thought it was because it was dark and thick.
02:34Michael Darrow, you might have a bit of an advantage on Dunners.
02:38Dunners, we have done Bog John before, but we've never done Battle of the Bog.
02:41You guys have.
02:42Do you think you've got a bit of an advantage there?
02:44So 100%, lessons were learned last week.
02:45So we're going to bring that little bit of expertise into this so you can think.
02:50Andrew, I probably don't even really need to talk to you, but are you feeling a little
02:53bit cocky going into this?
02:54Yeah, a little bit.
02:55Probably learned a few things last time around.
02:57I mean, that is a contact sport in there.
02:59Yeah.
02:59So, I mean, use anything you can get your foot on and use other families as leverage.
03:04That's the advice I'm giving them.
03:05I like to know your tactic.
03:06Well, maybe don't tell them to Dunners because he will steal your secrets because he is trying
03:10to hold off to your life.
03:11Speaking of stealing, can I borrow your runners?
03:13Do you know, you probably would need them.
03:15Yeah, cheers.
03:15Yeah, yeah.
03:15Okay, I'll swap them now.
03:16Actually, we'll do it over here in a second.
03:17Yeah, please.
03:18Okay, great.
03:18So, see you later.
03:19Best of luck.
03:20Laura, that one stinks a bit, but it's not bad.
03:23Here's how the quarterfinals work.
03:25Tonight, our three families will take on Battle of the Bog, and then each will take on a time
03:30trial, the lung-busting all tired out.
03:33In each event, they'll be awarded three points for first place, two points for second, and
03:39one point for third.
03:41The points are then added together, and the top family will go straight through to the
03:45semifinal.
03:46The bottom two families will have to face it off in the eliminator to see who else gets
03:51a place in our semifinal.
03:57Yeah, I'm nearly done.
03:59Oh, no.
03:59Oh, no.
04:01We're diving...
04:01We're diving straight into the chaos here tonight.
04:06Welcome to the muddiest, most miserable race in all of Ireland.
04:11This is Battle of the Bog.
04:17This is a three-family relay race where two members of each family start battle.
04:21Battle of the Bog with a cold, watery cargo net crawl, followed by an A-frame climb.
04:26From here, the family pairs must work together as they begin to navigate the muddy bog.
04:31A series of under and over logs of different heights and sizes await before plunging back
04:36into the deepest, muddiest, longest, and most draining part of the course.
04:40Next, they have to climb the ladder before sprinting to the finish line.
04:43When the family pair are standing on the pallet, the next two from the family can start the
04:47race following the same route.
04:49The clock only stops when all four family members are standing on the pallet.
04:53We're just after walking through the event.
04:57Lenehans are nervous, of course.
04:59This is a nasty one.
05:00People have no idea how difficult it is.
05:03There's going to be chaos in here.
05:04It's going to be madness.
05:05It really is.
05:06But we have to look out for each other.
05:09But I think it's more Christine Aguilera.
05:11It's time to get dirty.
05:12And the Lenehans are up for it.
05:14Donika's looking forward to it a lot more than us, I suppose.
05:17He's on the sidelines.
05:17He doesn't have to jump into the bog.
05:19I'm bracing myself for a pretty cold and uncomfortable three or four minutes.
05:23Hopefully three minutes rather than four.
05:26It's going to be a slog here.
05:27And then you're going to see the promised land.
05:30And once you get to there, it's game over.
05:31And it's a sprint out.
05:33If confidence is a superpower, we'll be fine.
05:36But if physicality is a superpower we need, well, then we could be going home today.
05:40So it'll be no bother to us at all.
05:42No game plan, just sheer arrogance.
05:45We'll be fine.
05:45No, we've no issues here.
05:46We're made for the sweet love.
05:48A bit of horseplay and a bit of muck.
05:50The waltzes, as you've probably seen, are full of beans.
05:53So they're ready to roll.
05:55And there won't be much stopping them today.
05:58Like the start, but really it's this last kind of what, 20, 25 meters?
06:04That's where it's won and lost.
06:05And that's where everything slows down.
06:07Your life flashes before your eyes.
06:09And your life seems to take a lot longer than it does normally.
06:12We've just seen the bog now for Battle of the Bog.
06:15And I think it's probably worse than I imagine.
06:18I think there's nervous excitement in the air.
06:21I think the more clothing you wear, the more you could get bogged down.
06:25And that's kind of the advice that Andrew said.
06:26Like going naked through the bog is a different show.
06:29You know, maybe RTE aren't interested in showing.
06:31But I mean, it'll be a fun show.
06:33On the start line and ready to go are Julie and Ellen Hilliard, Aidan and Michael Walsh, and Sean and Ava Linnehan.
06:42Three, two, one.
06:45The second quarterfinal begins.
06:50And they're into the water straight away.
06:52This is the comfortable part of the course, if there is such a thing.
06:55So the Walsh is in green out in front.
06:59The Hilliards in gold and the Linnehan's in yellow.
07:02And Sean Linnehan in front.
07:03He's just going back to pick up Ava.
07:06So the terrain is getting a little more difficult.
07:12There's still plenty of water there, as you can see.
07:13Not a lot of muck.
07:16So the Walsh family in green.
07:18It's Michael Dara's last family.
07:20The Linnehan's in yellow.
07:21Dunneka's last family.
07:22So there's a fair degree of pressure on both coaches to get their families through.
07:29That's all very tight between the Linnehan's and the Hilliards.
07:32Aidan Walsh is out in front.
07:33And his brother Michael isn't too far behind.
07:35It's a lot closer between the Hilliards and the Linnehan's.
07:38There you can see the Walsh boys going well.
07:41It'll start to slow down, you think, from here.
07:46So there's good teamwork between Julie and Ellen Hilliard.
07:49From County Kildare for Andrew Trimble.
07:51The Walsh boys are still in front.
07:53It's slowing a little bit.
07:55So the Linnehan's in second place.
07:56The Hilliards are in third at the moment.
07:59Sean and Ava Linnehan.
08:03Under the watchful eye of Danico Callaghan.
08:05So there isn't much between them, as you can see.
08:10The battle for second and third.
08:13And now this is getting very interesting.
08:16And very muddy.
08:17Very sludgy.
08:20So the Hilliards having a little problem there.
08:23And that has allowed the Linnehan's to move away from them.
08:26But the Walsh's are flying it.
08:29With all the flies around, hell and back.
08:33So they're very nearly at the ladder, which will take them out of the bog.
08:38The Hilliards closing on the Linnehan's again.
08:41So here come the Walsh boys.
08:43And one on the platform and the other.
08:45Aidan and Michael have done a very good job.
08:47Alfie and Aimee can start now down at the other end of the course.
08:50Here they come.
08:51So the Walsh family have the lead.
08:55Come on, you've got to find something, Ava.
08:57You've got to move your legs.
08:58Come on!
09:00Ava, hurry!
09:01Get to the edge.
09:02Get your hands.
09:03Come on, Ava.
09:04Stop feeling sorry for yourself.
09:05Work!
09:06There are problems for the Linnehan's here.
09:07Come on, Sean.
09:08Well, don't get to the edge.
09:09Close to the end of the course.
09:11Let's go, Alan.
09:12Julia, keep it going.
09:13And Ava's got stuck.
09:14Very badly stuck.
09:15Push it off the edge.
09:16It's an opportunity for the Hilliards, for Julia and Alan.
09:18Big effort.
09:19To perhaps overtake them and move into second place.
09:21Give her a hand if she needs it.
09:23So Alfie and his mum, Aimee, working hard down at the other end of the course.
09:27The Linnehan's will be out in second place.
09:29You've 10 seconds of work and you're done.
09:32Sean and Ava.
09:33Ava's first to the top of the ladder.
09:35She's only 18, studying for her leaving cert.
09:38Sean is 19, just behind her.
09:40So they are in second.
09:42And now it's down to Diarmuid and Rory.
09:44Here they come.
09:46Let's go, keep it going, keep it going.
09:49So Dad, Diarmuid, and his son, Rory, he's only 16 years of age.
09:53The youngest in this quarterfinal.
09:54That's it, well done.
09:56The Walshs still leading.
09:58Is Alfie just going back to help his mum, Aimee, who's finding that difficult?
10:03They've got to go under that log.
10:05So Diarmuid and Rory, second place for the Linnehan's.
10:10That's Rory out in front and his dad just behind him.
10:15Come on, Diarmuid!
10:16What a lovely day in Killer Ruddery.
10:18What's that?
10:19This is anything but lovely.
10:21And the Hilliards are still badly stuck.
10:24Julia and Ellen.
10:28Alfie and Aimee.
10:29They've got to go over that log.
10:32Anyway will do.
10:33And now Alfie helping his mum.
10:35Be careful, be careful, be careful.
10:36Be careful is right.
10:38Oh my word, well look, that worked.
10:40Not the most comfortable, but it did work.
10:42Now Rory Linnehan getting stuck in the mud.
10:48Diarmuid is there behind him.
10:49He tried to leap through that.
10:52So the Walshs are in first place still.
10:54But it is slowing and it's a battle.
10:58Alfie dragging Aimee along.
11:00So here come the Hilliards.
11:01They've got out of the ball.
11:04They're in third place.
11:06Mel and Alana.
11:08Last to go.
11:09Here they come.
11:12Let's see what they can do.
11:13Under, under, under.
11:15Constantly helping.
11:16Stay shoulder to shoulder.
11:17This is it now.
11:18This is the tough part.
11:18Let's go.
11:19So Michael Darragh pre-empting what Alfie and Aimee have ahead of them.
11:22Come on, fella.
11:23Come on, I need you here big time, yeah?
11:24The Linnehan still in second place.
11:26That's Diarmuid over.
11:27First Rory just behind him.
11:29We're going to head down.
11:30Keep moving.
11:31Now the Walshs have picked a particular line over the far side of that trench.
11:36Keep going, keep going, keep going.
11:38And you can get lucky or unlucky with these things, but look at the Linnehan's now.
11:42They've picked a different line further back, and they're closing on the Walsh family.
11:48Everybody getting involved in it now as the tension builds.
11:51And I tell you what, the Linnehan's are closing on the Walshs as the battle for first place heats up.
11:56The Hilliard's still working away and working well.
11:59They're in third.
12:01But the Walshs, wow, Alfie's just got totally stuck, almost completely submerged.
12:06And he can't watch it.
12:07He's trying to drag himself along the top.
12:09So Dunneka wants the Linnehan's to push on, and look how close they are.
12:18Can they get an overtake here right at the end to snatch first place?
12:24So Alfie Walsh is there in front in the green.
12:26Well, what you can see in the green, his mum Amy is just behind, and the Linnehan's are closing with every single step.
12:32Look at this.
12:33They're right beside each other, neck and neck.
12:35Alfie trying to drag his mum to the finish line.
12:38The Hilliards not out of this yet.
12:39They're a little bit further down the course, but you never know.
12:42Yeah, well done, good stuff, well done.
12:44So that is Alana who's helped over, and look at this.
12:47Well, somehow Alfie Walsh has managed to get out of the fog.
12:50He's got Amy with him.
12:52The Linnehan's are still stuck back there.
12:53They gave it absolutely everything, but they're exhausted.
12:56But this is for first place.
12:58Alfie and Amy out of the fog, and here they come.
13:00They're going to claim first place.
13:02The Linnehan's just a little bit behind, but that's a super start to the quarterfinal for the Walsh family.
13:07What a race, though.
13:07It went right down to the wire.
13:09And look at Michael Dara McCauley.
13:10He looks really satisfied with what he's just seen.
13:13The Linnehan family, they are claiming second place.
13:16They gave it the lot, didn't they?
13:18Well done, guys.
13:19Yeah, nice.
13:21But Mel and Alana Hilliard pushed as hard as they could, but they're now finding this very, very tough.
13:26They have to finish it out to claim one point for third place.
13:29I think they were looking to each other for help, but both of them were helpless.
13:32The thing is, when you stop moving, then you can't get moving again.
13:36It's next to impossible.
13:38Showed a bit of character, grits, dug in, and got the job done in the end.
13:41Andrew, you probably felt quite helpless.
13:43On the sidelines there, because there is nothing that you can do, because it's such an unnatural experience to be that deep in that mud.
13:50Yeah, and I wanted to get kind of the balance of, I wanted to be honest, but not too honest.
13:55Like, we're not in good shape here.
13:57And the girls, like Julia, at one stage, looked up and said, I'm sorry, Andrew.
14:02I'm like, I know.
14:04I was going, I'm so sorry if I've put you guys under that pressure.
14:08Regardless, there's a point on the board there for you guys.
14:10You did finish, and that can't make the world of difference when we get into this afternoon's events, right?
14:15Danica and Michael Darragh have kind of done a bit of a job on me, so I need to dig deep and find something, a way of getting back at them.
14:23I think we did that as well as we possibly could.
14:26I'm delighted with the Lennons.
14:27They gave it everything.
14:28We came second with a chance in the next event.
14:30I mean, it was neck and neck, yeah, in the end, Roaring and Dad almost did get them.
14:34So, no, definitely with the tail trim, we'll give it our best shot, and I think we do definitely have a good chance.
14:38Well, well, well, Michael Darragh and the Walshs.
14:41Yeah, no, I might save that for later.
14:44Do you know what's mad?
14:44Davy Fitz isn't here today, but somehow the levels were still as high.
14:49I could hear you from a mile off screaming at your poor man.
14:52Tears in your eyes when you finished that one.
14:54Was there tears of joy?
14:55Definitely joy.
14:57Yeah, that was really hard.
14:58I could hear the boys.
15:00I think I showed a bit too low.
15:02Well, you definitely were unmotivating.
15:04Yeah, no, that was hard.
15:06Michael Darragh, sensational performance.
15:09You must be feeling good.
15:10So good, so good, yeah.
15:11I was asking Amy, where is that rank?
15:12Like, how tough was that?
15:13She's like, I raised these three fellas.
15:14This is a walk in the park.
15:16Look, you're in a good position, but there still has to be a few nerves there, is there?
15:20I'm after getting a bit cold now.
15:21I was waiting up here by myself for, I'd say, a good two minutes.
15:25Yeah, but it's too easy.
15:27Well, lookit, congratulations.
15:29Well done.
15:30Get yourselves washed up, and then I'll come back and talk to you again later, all right?
15:33Cheers.
15:34So, after our first event, Michael Darragh's Walsh's have three points,
15:40Donika's Linehan's have two points,
15:43and Andrew's Hilliards are in last place with one point.
15:50Come on, dig in.
15:52Jeez, man, jump off the wall.
15:53Don't jump off the wall.
15:54We're in hell and back for Ireland's fittest family, and before the break, things got mucky.
16:14Michael Darragh's watchers crawl their way out of the bog to victory,
16:18while Andrew's Hilliards trudged their way into third place.
16:23But don't worry, there's plenty of time for fortunes to flip.
16:26Hey, lads.
16:34Well?
16:35This is Gah.
16:36What's a Gah?
16:36Not this rugby nonsense.
16:38All right, all right, come on, bring it on, bring it on.
16:40Come on, trim me, get up.
16:42Can I kick you?
16:43Can I kick you?
16:45Ah, come on, lads.
16:47This is a serious competition.
16:49It's time to get back to work.
16:53All Tired Out is back,
16:54but now it's a time trial requiring speed, agility and endurance.
16:59This leg-burning event begins with all four family members on a straw bale.
17:03Each one must run up the hill through a series of tyre obstacles
17:06and tackle the overs, unders and crawls.
17:09Then it's a scramble over a two-metre tyre wall
17:13and up onto a straw bale when they're standing on two feet.
17:16The next family member is released to start the course.
17:19The clock stops when all four family members are standing on the bale.
17:22The fastest time takes top points in All Tired Out.
17:27Earlier in the week, Andrew took the Hilliards
17:29on a climbing adventure to work on their confidence.
17:34Oh, my God.
17:35Yeah, there we go.
17:36This is incredible.
17:38We're going to walk before we can run.
17:40So we're just going to start with
17:42if we can get to the summit of this pyramid.
17:46And if you get to the top of that,
17:47then I feel like then, you know, we can move on to the next level.
17:50What do you think?
17:51With what happened in the last round in the Eliminator,
17:53we all dug deep.
17:55It kind of felt like, you know, confidence was a little bit of a low.
17:59It was just a shame that it kind of finished that way.
18:01If we end up in the same position again,
18:03if we're kind of holding on to the ramp
18:05and just we need to kind of wrestle and climb
18:06and find ways to get each other up there,
18:08then we might learn something here.
18:10And then more importantly, let's just get feeling good.
18:12Let's do something challenging.
18:14Let's get back feeling confident again.
18:15Andrew's advice to us has been to trust in ourselves
18:18and to be a little bit more confident.
18:20So I think that was a great decision for him
18:22to bring us to the climbing centre today
18:23just to work out our confidence a little bit more.
18:26I just love the idea of us getting to the Eliminator.
18:30The last person's getting up
18:32and they just find a wee learning from today
18:35and they just find a hook
18:36and they just find some technique
18:37and manage to get across the line.
18:39That was really tough.
18:41I think we're the best to win there, right?
18:42Yeah.
18:43Just say bye to Andrew.
18:44I should say bye to Andrew, yeah.
18:46See you around somewhere?
18:47Anyone saying?
18:49No.
18:53Andrew and the Hilliards, here we go.
18:55We've got a big race in All Tired Out.
18:57How are you feeling?
18:58We're fired up and excited about it, yeah.
19:00Who's going first?
19:01I'm going to go first.
19:02We kind of decided to go by age,
19:04so I'm not sure if that's a good idea.
19:07So you're the sacrificial lamb?
19:08Exactly.
19:09Yeah, okay.
19:09Just like in life, I suppose,
19:11throughout the family.
19:11Exactly.
19:12The very best of luck.
19:14Run like the clappers, all right?
19:15See you later.
19:16Just get through this kind of unscathed.
19:19I think would be my message to them.
19:20Sometimes slow and steady is the way to go.
19:22So here are the Hilliards.
19:25Mel, Alana, Julia and Ellen.
19:30Three, two, one.
19:31First to go and all tired out.
19:35And the Hilliards of County Kildare
19:37need a big showing here.
19:39They were last in Battle of the Bog.
19:42So Mel is first to go.
19:43That's nicely done.
19:44That's the technique.
19:45Nice, Mel.
19:46Good stuff.
19:46Andrew Trimble is always very, very calm.
19:52I wonder if this event
19:53could break his inner zone a little bit.
19:55I don't know.
19:56But this is a good start by Mel, isn't it?
19:59Flying over and under those tyre obstacles.
20:02A big start from Mel.
20:09He's a very talented runner.
20:12Spot on.
20:13And now here, well, you can do this various ways.
20:16Down inside the tyre or just jump on the rims,
20:19which he's doing.
20:21And then moving between them.
20:23And this tyre wall is two metres high.
20:25And we're approaching a minute and a half.
20:27This is good.
20:28This is good.
20:29But it feels quick, doesn't it, from Mel Hilliard.
20:32So once he stands up on that bail,
20:35Alana can start.
20:39Alana running the second leg.
20:41She's a big runner as well.
20:43Herself and Julia into quest races.
20:47Mel looking a little tired.
20:49That's understandable.
20:51More support from Andrew Trimble.
20:54Yeah, good stuff.
20:56Nice and steady.
20:57Keep a little.
20:57It is a steady pace from Alana Hilliard.
21:02There is pressure on them to perform here.
21:04Yeah, good stuff.
21:06Having finished last in event one.
21:10So these big tyres.
21:12Oh, there's a bit of a slip from Alana Hilliard.
21:14You got it, come on.
21:17Nothing in this is straightforward.
21:19And she's got over it at the second attempt.
21:22Well done.
21:23On the left-hand side.
21:24Yeah, yeah, all good, all good.
21:26Now, she's going in and out of those tyres.
21:29You heard Andrew say that if she wants to go across the top of them,
21:32they were firmer on this near side.
21:34Now she's moved over to the near side.
21:37But that is very deliberate from Alana Hilliard.
21:39They have almost made it to halfway.
21:47So Alana is losing a little bit of time.
21:49Over four minutes now.
21:52They will set the target for the rest to try and beat.
21:56Next, it is Julia.
21:58Come on, Julia.
21:58Let's go, Julia.
21:59So Julia into that trench underneath the cargo net.
22:04That's it.
22:04Yeah, perfect.
22:05That's it.
22:05That's the technique.
22:05And that's very quick, isn't it?
22:07Just like her dad.
22:08She obviously saw what Mel did earlier on.
22:10I need to keep her arm straight going underneath that.
22:13And there's advice for Ellen coming behind her as well
22:15to use her right arm to hold up the net.
22:20Yeah, perfect.
22:20That's it.
22:21You've seen they do work well together.
22:24Yeah, I did stop.
22:25Well done.
22:25And that's good from Julia.
22:27Left hand side to confirm.
22:29Now to the tyre floor.
22:31Yeah, nice.
22:32That's great, Julia.
22:33My knee-hand goes too easy.
22:35Andrew is still very calm.
22:37Well done.
22:37That was super quick.
22:39So approaching six minutes.
22:41Yeah, well done, Julia.
22:41This is great.
22:42And it is great from Julia Hilliard over the top of the wall.
22:47And Andrew, maybe there?
22:50It's risky to jump off it, so she's right to take her time.
22:53So three out of four.
22:54Last leg will be run by Ellen Hilliard.
23:00They went climbing with Andrew, as you've seen.
23:03And she just got a little stuck there to boost their confidence.
23:07And this is a confident performance from the Hilliards.
23:11The noise of the drone following her.
23:17So Ellen is the youngest of the family.
23:18She's 23.
23:19Have they saved the best till last?
23:25In through those tyres.
23:27And it's the final charge.
23:33Yeah, very solid there, Ellen.
23:35She's on the joints.
23:35And it's firmer on the left.
23:38And now over these tyres.
23:42And she has picked that line that Andrew suggested earlier on.
23:46Where she can walk over the top of it because the rims are firmer.
23:49So approaching eight minutes.
23:51Yeah, lovely.
23:52Well done.
23:53Let's go.
23:54Finish strong.
23:55It is tough to do this course on your own.
23:57We've seen it as a family event where they're all together.
24:02So Ellen just taking care over the top of the wall.
24:07And here she comes.
24:08So this will be the time for the rest to try and beat.
24:12They were last in event one.
24:13This needs to be a good time.
24:14It's a really solid performance.
24:16Eight minutes and 15 seconds for the Hilliards.
24:18Well done, Ellen.
24:19Well done.
24:22My dad is amazing.
24:23He's so fast.
24:25So I think that event really suited him.
24:27And he was able to get up and over everything.
24:30So yeah, no, he did.
24:31He did deadly in that.
24:32Andrew, do you think that the Hilliards have done enough to avoid an eliminator?
24:34All that we could do is the best we could do.
24:36We went at it hard.
24:37And it's nice just to finish an event like the eliminator last time.
24:41Kind of finished on a difficult note.
24:43This morning in the mud, finished on a difficult note.
24:44So it's nice to get that feel good.
24:46Everybody's smiling.
24:47Everybody's having a good time.
24:48And I think it feels like there's a bit of a Hilliard swagger.
24:51Yeah.
24:51And we like the Hilliard swagger.
24:53We enjoyed that.
24:54And it's put us in good spirits.
24:58This week, Michael Darragher hit the road and caught up with the Walshs.
25:02Well, hey, love.
25:04How's the man?
25:06Amy.
25:07Good to see you.
25:07How are you doing?
25:08Great to see us.
25:09Today we are down in Loch Derb.
25:12We brought the Walsh family down to get comfortable in the water, have a bit of a splash, and have
25:17a little bit of crack as well.
25:18Well, I think the last day, poor old Amy was struggling.
25:20So this is Amy's comfort zone here in a kayak, in a lake.
25:24Today it's Amy's day to shine.
25:26I love being in the water.
25:29The water is my happy place.
25:30I work with enough out of groups and I take people on the water.
25:33It has an incredible effect on mental health.
25:36It's a wonderful space for people to be in.
25:38The lads are messers.
25:47I didn't see that at all.
25:48Where were you looking?
25:49You know what it is, though?
26:01I dragged them through mountains and kayaking for years, and it was just their payback time
26:07to drag me back into the water.
26:11I'm holding it.
26:13The lads are always harder than Amy.
26:15I think that's how poor Amy lives.
26:17You're never too old to splash and mess and push.
26:20If you asked me about two months ago, how'd she gotten it?
26:23I'd say, oh, not a prayer.
26:25But yeah, she surprised all of us, and I'd say all of us, we couldn't be more proud of her.
26:32Okay, Walsh's, here we are, all tired out.
26:34We've probably seen this one on the telly before, right?
26:36So, this is just you against yourself, going straight from A to B as quick as possible.
26:41There's no big science to this.
26:42Sure, our first time trial, a second, one second is all that did it.
26:45So, whatever it takes, up Adam.
26:47So, what's up, Adam?
26:47Can you hear me, lads? Let's do it.
26:49I'm really good.
26:50Pressure is for tyres. There's no pressure on us at all.
26:52I had a big bowl of confidence for breakfast, and it's still, it's still digesting.
26:57I don't want to rely on the lads having to make up for me.
27:02We walked through it all with Amy to make sure she's comfortable with everything, like, she's okay.
27:05Like, so, just, and if, like, if something happens, if you trip, if you fall, just, like, get on up.
27:10Keep on moving.
27:10So, for the Walsh family, it is Michael, Alfie, Amy, and Aidan.
27:18Keep it, Aidan. Let's go.
27:21Second to go, and all tired out.
27:23One.
27:23And Aidan is first to take this on.
27:28Mood, head down, head down.
27:29They won the first event today.
27:32And Aidan has started quickly.
27:33The time to beat is 8 minutes and 15 seconds by the Hilliards.
27:39So, Aidan, wow, he's going along very quickly, isn't he?
27:42Just leaping over those tyres and that log.
27:46This is some opening from Aidan Walsh.
27:49Let's open it now, open it now.
27:50Like the other two brothers, Big G.A. man.
27:53Football hurling.
27:54There you go, there you go.
27:55Into swimming and surfing.
27:56Now, let's go, let's go.
27:57And as you can see, the gym and running.
27:59He kind of ticks all the boxes, doesn't he?
28:00Head down, head down, head down.
28:02He's only 20 years of age.
28:04Let's finish this.
28:05We need a few extra seconds.
28:06We need a few extra seconds.
28:07And they are the biggest tyres of the lot.
28:09And now he's at this tyre floor, gliding over the rims.
28:13Now he's got his feet in between those tyres.
28:16Enterprise, Enterprise, let's go.
28:19So, just over a minute gone.
28:21Come on, every second, every second.
28:22Let's go, let's go.
28:22Sulu members, the family can repeat that kind of time.
28:25He jumps off the top of the wall.
28:26Well, they'll be comfortably ahead of the Hilliards, but we'll see.
28:29So, one out of four.
28:30And here comes Amy.
28:31Go, go, go.
28:35She's second to go for the Walsh family.
28:37So, Amy crouching down low.
28:41And she has got away from that cargo net.
28:45Michael Dara arrives for some support.
28:51So, Alfie and Michael still waiting to take on, all tired out.
28:59Pick it up.
29:01So, Amy just making sure of these particular set of tyres.
29:06She's got over and the finish line is in sight.
29:15It's very easy to lose your footing.
29:17It's very deliberate from Amy driving the legs as she picks a line through that tyre floor.
29:26So, very nearly done.
29:27Michael Dara has been very good with her all the way through this.
29:31So, they're over the four-minute mark.
29:33There you go.
29:34That's it.
29:34Super, super.
29:35I'm down.
29:36I'm down.
29:36I'm down.
29:37With her two sons still to go.
29:38Let's go.
29:39Let's go.
29:40Let's go.
29:40So, Amy will be helped up on top of the veil by Aiden.
29:44Let's go.
29:44Let's go.
29:44So, they're halfway there.
29:46And here comes Alfie.
29:47He's the youngest son.
29:48Only 18 years of age.
29:50And Alfie is a man in a hurry.
29:51Get down.
29:54Over.
29:54Kept the head down and leaping over those tyres and over that log.
30:00This is quick.
30:01Here we go.
30:02Here we go.
30:02Look at him go.
30:04Hurdling over that and the log.
30:08And this one, he just drives the legs over the top of that.
30:11That's not easy at all.
30:14So, now Alfie in sight of Amy and Aiden.
30:19This is really quick.
30:20Sensational performance from Alfie Walsh.
30:26Don't waste a second.
30:27I didn't jump off the wall.
30:28Don't waste a second.
30:28He's been told to jump off the top of the wall.
30:32Okay, he's done that.
30:34So, third of the Walsh is home.
30:37And last to go is Michael.
30:40Michael driving in and now down low underneath the net.
30:45Eight minutes and 15 seconds is the time they have to try and better.
30:50Into the way through, into the way through, into the way through.
30:52And it's done.
30:53You're flying, Michael.
30:54Let's go.
30:54And Michael getting massive encouragement from the finish line from Aiden, Amy and Alfie.
30:59Don't even think of a difference.
31:00Run through.
31:01Run through.
31:02So, he's very nearly there.
31:03Hammer through.
31:04Hammer through.
31:04Can't afford a mistake here.
31:05Michael Dara McCauley tells him to hammer through and he is doing that.
31:09This is some performance.
31:12Every second.
31:12Every second.
31:12They really have taken this on with great gusto.
31:17These are the final seconds for the Walsh family from Cork.
31:22Michael leaps off the top of the wall.
31:24They'll get him up here as quickly as possible.
31:26The new leader, seven minutes and one seconds.
31:28That is some performance.
31:30Big up, son.
31:31Big up.
31:31It actually wasn't a hard course.
31:37I think it was just the fact that you had to go, go, go, go.
31:41Kind of 50-50.
31:41But I'm going to stay confident.
31:43Because we are the best team here.
31:45And I suppose if you're not first, you're last.
31:47Michael Dara, are you really proud of Amy and the lads?
31:50Didn't stop moving once.
31:51Just kept going, kept going, kept going.
31:53So, 100%.
31:54That time is hard bet.
31:55I have no idea what time that was.
31:56That was hard bet.
31:57So, I think we're in the mix.
31:59We're in the mix.
31:59There was no one fell off anything or twisted anything.
32:02So, no.
32:02We were in the mix right until the end.
32:03And finally, Donnicka lined up a surprise day out for his family, the Linehans.
32:08Here with the Linehans, we are at foot golf.
32:11Golf with your feet.
32:13Dermot is into golf and all the rest of us are into football.
32:17So, it was the perfect mix.
32:18Donnicka had promised he'd carry my clothes on the golf course the next time we got together.
32:23And we end up playing foot golf.
32:25Donnicka, you owe me one.
32:27We were delighted to have another day with Donnicka.
32:29I think a big thing for me with my family is to spend time with him.
32:33And to start enjoying each other's company.
32:35Yo, that's how you should play it.
32:37If we can be a family that look out for each other, have each other's back, I think we could go a long way.
32:43Teamwork is the most important part.
32:45Like, you can be the fittest, the strongest family.
32:46But if you don't work as a youth, you've no chance to re-like.
32:49Yeah, I'm really excited for the quarterfinals.
32:51I think Donnicka will definitely push us.
32:53And we're training away, so hopefully we can do well.
32:56Lenehans, a great morning, but I think it's too slow-paced.
32:59I think we're going to up it for this hole.
33:01Full contact, as fast as you can.
33:03Ball in the hole.
33:04First there wins.
33:05Let's do it.
33:06Truth is, going into the quarterfinals with the Lenehans, I'm all in.
33:10They're my only family left, so I have to bring my best.
33:12I was disappointed with how I went coaching-wise early on for them, but I think we found a lovely spot in the last few events.
33:19We go into the quarterfinals, we know we have to perform well, but I can't wait to win with the Lenehans.
33:25Oh, the Rebels are boo!
33:26Come on, the Lenehans!
33:30OK, Lenehans, here we go, into the time trial.
33:33Really important one for us.
33:35I want to come up with the best form and the best order, but Dermot, I want you to go first.
33:40What I want you to do is show everyone else the way, and your time everyone else is going to compete with.
33:46I'm down to one family, so going into the Eliminator, that is jeopardy that I don't want to have, especially this week.
33:52We just about didn't win the last one, so hopefully we can win this one.
33:56So, for the Lenehans, it's Dad Dermot, Rory, Ava, and Sean.
34:04Three, two, one!
34:07The Lenehans were second in event one.
34:13And seven minutes and one second is the time they have to try and beat.
34:18Brilliant. Well done, boy.
34:20Now go, go, go. Here you go.
34:22Bit of pace here now, yeah?
34:23So, Dermot, first to go.
34:25As we know, he's a big golfer.
34:27Never mind them, no, you're doing great, my man.
34:29Brilliant.
34:29That's a good start. That's a very good start by Dermot Linehan.
34:34Open over.
34:35Brilliant, Dermot, come on.
34:37The Lenehans are Dunic's last family in the competition.
34:40Go, go, go.
34:42As one of the original coaches, he does not want to be out tonight.
34:45Work, work, work, work.
34:47As quick as you can, oh, yeah?
34:48Dermot Linehan has made a very strong start over the top of those tyres.
34:55Just making sure of his footing.
34:57Outstanding.
34:58As sure as you can be, this is an outstanding performance from Dermot Linehan.
35:02Like a ladder, yeah? Rip it up.
35:04Giving his family every chance of putting real pressure on the Walsh's time of seven minutes and one second.
35:09This is quick.
35:10This is impressive from Dermot Linehan.
35:13Up you get up, you get up.
35:14You can hear the tension in Dunicke's voice.
35:15Come on, come on.
35:17Well done.
35:17So now it is Sean.
35:21Sean is 19 years of age.
35:24Oh, and Sean's got caught in the net.
35:26The camera's got caught in the net.
35:27That is not good at all.
35:29And he needs to get the helmet back on.
35:32Approaching two minutes.
35:33There the helmet goes back on.
35:34I wonder will that impede him between now and the end.
35:38Will it have cost them time?
35:39Well, actually the helmet's on back to front.
35:41You can see the camera facing the wrong way.
35:44But do you know what?
35:45Sean isn't one bit bothered.
35:47He's got over that little error at the start.
35:50And he's powering towards the finish line.
35:53Come on, man, run.
35:54So Sean really driving on.
35:56Get up.
35:57This is quick.
35:59Got a bandage on his right knee as well.
36:01There's a few things working against Sean Linehan here, but he doesn't care.
36:05One iota.
36:06Here he is at the wall.
36:07Get up.
36:08Hurry up.
36:08Keep seven minutes and one second in your mind.
36:12Hurry up.
36:12Get up.
36:13Get up.
36:13Sean is in now with his dad, Dermott.
36:16He had a lot of stuff to deal with there.
36:18Three minutes on the clock now as 18-year-old Ava Linehan goes.
36:24Certainly keeping the head down.
36:25Very careful not to catch the camera on the net.
36:27She hit her left shoulder on that log there as she came out.
36:30Drive it.
36:30Drive it.
36:31All sorts of stuff happening with the Linehans here.
36:33But there's a good pace, a very good pace from Ava.
36:39Ava's played underage football, soccer for Cork.
36:46So over the top of those tyres.
36:51This is really good.
36:55So Ava.
36:59She is a superstar, isn't she?
37:01Donica absolutely delights it.
37:03There is last family.
37:05Ava Linehan over the top of the tyre wall.
37:09Drops down and a little bit of a slip as well.
37:11She gave that absolutely everything.
37:13Last to go is the youngest member of their family.
37:16Here's Rory.
37:17He's only 16.
37:20And that's a brisk start from him.
37:21Come on, Rory.
37:22Well done.
37:23Up and over.
37:23Well done.
37:24He is flying over those two sets of tyres.
37:28Now down through that one.
37:29The rest of the family waiting with bated breath.
37:33Well, they're out of breath anyway.
37:35Here comes Rory.
37:37That's something else, isn't it?
37:39Find something up, Rory.
37:40He's just running on normal terrain.
37:42A little bit of a stumble there from Rory.
37:44But he's been really quick.
37:46And the time is fantastic.
37:47The Linehans about to win.
37:49All tired out.
37:50Get him up.
37:51Quite a display.
37:52Very, very impressive.
37:53Five minutes and 47 seconds.
37:56Will that be enough to put them into the semi-final?
38:00Yes!
38:01I'm really unsure.
38:02Like, we've done nearly the best possible.
38:04Like, maybe four or five seconds we could have gained from a perfect run.
38:08I was kind of feeling the pressure only at the start.
38:11But I think once I got going, I just really wanted to do the best I could.
38:14We have to talk about the helmet.
38:15Because that was...
38:17How did you see anything?
38:18No, I panicked to take a cut.
38:20But I slowed down, got it fixed and just drove on.
38:22It felt sensational, don't you?
38:24Do you think it's enough to avoid an eliminator?
38:26We don't know.
38:27I'll be honest with you.
38:28Especially after coming second in the first event.
38:30And we know the other two families are really strong.
38:32But we could do with a bit of luck, Laura.
38:34That horrible Irish feeling of, don't get too cocky.
38:38Now it's time for me to give the families the final results.
38:44Hi, families.
38:46Well done today.
38:47It was such a sensational performance.
38:49But I am here to reveal who will be taking on tonight's eliminator.
38:55And the first family that will be facing tonight's eliminator are...
39:02Andrew and the Hilliards.
39:05You know, because we were third in the first event,
39:08we kind of knew after picking up just one point,
39:10that the chances were, unless there was a miracle,
39:13that we'd probably end up in the eliminator.
39:16Now, the next two families were both tied from the two events.
39:22Which means that it comes down to the slowest family in all tired out.
39:29Which means congratulations to Donika and the Linehans.
39:32You're through to the semifinals.
39:35I must say, every one of them was brilliant.
39:39Here we are again.
39:41Yeah, I didn't think we'd be here.
39:42I genuinely didn't.
39:43A bit disappointed because we did so well in the bog
39:45to have to come back and do an eliminator.
39:49Straighten up. Straighten up.
39:50Go. Go, go, go.
39:51You have it. He has it. He has it.
39:53Quick, quick, quick. Let's go. Come on.
39:55Get over. Get over.
39:56Around him.
39:56Welcome back to Ireland's fittest family.
40:15We've got Andrews Hilliard taking on Michael Dara's walshes.
40:19And the stakes have been raised for Michael Dara
40:20because this is his last family left.
40:23Will he stay in the competition?
40:25It's time to find out.
40:26Tonight's eliminator is no walk in the park.
40:31It begins with a sprint to collect a 30-kilogram log
40:34which they must run with together around the field.
40:38Then they face a relentless series of A-frames and walls.
40:41If that isn't enough, they have to navigate a tricky balance beam
40:45before the 3-meter walls await.
40:47These are followed by a plunge into a freezing ice bath.
40:50Next is a climb up onto a platform and down a cargo net-covered ladder.
40:55Finally, the ramp awaits.
40:57The first family to the top of the ramp wins a place in next week's semi-final.
41:01The losing family is eliminated.
41:02It's the second eliminator of our quarter-finals
41:08and it's going to be a showdown between the Hilliards and the Walshes
41:11with only one family making it to the semis.
41:14Now, that family is going to be the one who gets to the top of this ramp first.
41:18And it's pretty easy.
41:19I did it.
41:20I mean, just don't tell them I used to stares.
41:21Now, if I got knocked out by Andrew Trimble,
41:24that would not go down well in any of my circles.
41:27So I'm representing the whole Gaelic Athletic Association here.
41:31That would be rebellion.
41:32Maybe trying to learn on the spot might cost us a bit of time
41:35compared to the other family who have done the eliminator before.
41:38I wouldn't be expecting any support from the GAA community
41:41for this episode, and that's fine.
41:43I'll do what I can for the rugby community.
41:46We have experience doing the last eliminator,
41:48so we're actually quite positive about it.
41:50Let's see how this goes.
41:51Ready to go.
41:52Andrew Trimble's Hilliards wearing gold
41:54against Michael Dara-McCaulay's Walshes wearing green.
41:59So it's a Leinster versus Munster battle.
42:02The Hilliards from County Kildare.
42:03The Walshes from County Cork.
42:05And off we go.
42:06So the Walshes appearing in the eliminator for the first time.
42:09The Hilliards have done this before,
42:11and that's given them confidence.
42:12And they have a little bit of a lead there.
42:18So Andrew Trimble coaching the Hilliards,
42:21Michael Dara-McCaulay coaching the Walsh family.
42:24Whatever you have, whatever you have.
42:26One more gear, one more gear, let's go.
42:29So Michael Dara wants a little bit more from his family.
42:33And they've given him more,
42:35and they've opened up a little bit of a lead.
42:37But there'll be no panic from the Hilliards.
42:42So they're very nearly at the drop zone
42:45where they can get rid of that log.
42:47It weighs 30 kilograms.
42:49And they've got rid of that.
42:50And now we're onto the walls and the A-frames.
42:53We're just going straight over.
42:55Let's go.
42:55Let's go.
42:56Let's go.
42:58Let's go.
42:58Oh, yeah, yeah.
42:58Go, go.
42:59Here come the Hilliards.
43:00Well done, Julia.
43:01Let's go.
43:01Same again.
43:02Same again.
43:02Same again.
43:02Let's go.
43:03Let's go.
43:03Let's go.
43:03Let's go.
43:04Let's go.
43:04Let's go.
43:04Let's go.
43:05Let's go.
43:06So Michael Dara has had experience of the eliminator before.
43:09I wonder, will that be an advantage to the Walsh family?
43:14Keep it going.
43:15Keep it going.
43:16Keep it going.
43:16So there's a lead for the Walshs wearing green, remember?
43:19Yeah.
43:20Let's go, Alan.
43:21Let's go.
43:21Let's go.
43:21Here we go.
43:22So Amy Walsh has just been helped over the top
43:24and down the other side of that A-frame.
43:26Let's go, Alan.
43:26Let's go.
43:27Let's go.
43:27Let's go.
43:29Let's go.
43:31The Walshs were three of them together.
43:34Yeah.
43:34Let's go.
43:35Let's keep on.
43:35Hilliards not far behind.
43:37There's very little between them.
43:38Up to the balance beam, it's Michael Walsh.
43:40I'll do the side.
43:41I'll do the side.
43:41And here come the rest of the family.
43:43And the Hilliards there as well.
43:45Oh, that worked, didn't it?
43:46Little Bob, let's go again.
43:48Let's go, Alan.
43:49Get over.
43:49Just get it done.
43:50That's the thing.
43:50Let's go.
43:51Let's go.
43:51Let's go.
43:51And they are getting it done.
43:52That's Mel Hilliard.
43:53Let's go.
43:53Let's go.
43:54Let's go.
43:55Let's go.
43:55And there really is not a lot between them.
43:57A little bit of a slip there in the balance beam.
43:59It's always an interesting challenge, because you're going so fast and so hard,
44:03and then you have to calm everything down.
44:08Nice and easy.
44:10But if you come off at any place in the beam, you've got to go back to the start.
44:14Nice.
44:15Well done.
44:16Good there.
44:17Perfectly balanced.
44:17But there is a lead for the Walsh family.
44:20The three brothers working together.
44:23Let's keep some urgency.
44:24Keep some urgency.
44:25Let's go.
44:25So Andrew wants a little bit more urgency from the Hilliards.
44:29Perfect.
44:29Well done, Alan.
44:30Great stop.
44:32So that wall, 10 feet, 3 meters high.
44:36Amy Walsh just been helped to the top of it, and she'll go down the other side as well.
44:40The other side, Alan.
44:40Yeah, that's it.
44:41Nicely done.
44:43This all about, well, strength, agility, obviously, but calmness, teamwork, good communication.
44:50Amy Walsh has gone towards the ice bath.
44:54Oh, that was unusual, wasn't it?
44:55A hurdle over.
44:57Two Hilliards at the top, two still down below, but the Walshs are opening up a lead now.
45:02They're all away from the wall, and that lead is growing with every second,
45:06and the Hilliards are losing time at the wall.
45:10The Walshs up to that ice bath.
45:15Some people don't find that easy.
45:16It's not, but they made that look pretty comfortable, didn't they?
45:19So Amy Walsh is out in front.
45:21Here come the rest of the family.
45:22Mel Hilliard trying to take on the wall.
45:24Yeah, well done.
45:25The Walshs have made it to the ramp already.
45:27First to take it on is Aiden, 20-year-old Aiden.
45:31Up to the top of the ramp.
45:32Oh, no, he's come down.
45:33He's come down.
45:34So does that open the door for the Hilliards?
45:36They're still a bit down the course.
45:37Here is Michael Walsh now.
45:39Michael.
45:40Wow, look at that.
45:41He got up.
45:42Such a brilliant bit of technique.
45:44Great strength.
45:44Second to take it on now is Alfie.
45:46Alfie's got a grip on the lip, and Michael is helping him up to the top.
45:50So there's two Walshs up there, and the Hilliards are still at the ice bath and losing more time.
45:54Yeah, nice. Let's go.
45:56Get ahead of it.
45:57Andrew Trimble still very calm with them.
45:59Get ahead of it.
46:00And now the Hilliards have made it away from the ice bath.
46:04The Walshs have two up at the top.
46:06Here comes Mum, Amy.
46:07Keep going.
46:08Can her two sons get her to the top?
46:09Oh, and she reaches out, but can't grab on.
46:12So Amy's come down the bottom.
46:14Let's go.
46:15The Hilliards are closing.
46:18Here they come.
46:19Now, Turd to take this on.
46:20That's another brilliant leap.
46:21That was Aiden Walsh.
46:22So three Walshs up there.
46:24Only Amy to go to win a place in the semi-final.
46:28So Michael Darrow wants everybody just to calm down.
46:31And here come the Hilliards.
46:32They have closed right up.
46:35First to take this on is Mel Hilliard.
46:37Up to the top of the ramp, and he's soaking, and he's come straight back down.
46:41It's all down to Michael, Aiden, and Alfie Walsh.
46:45Can they get Amy up to the top?
46:47This surely is theirs to lose.
46:49They've got a hold of her.
46:50They've got a hold of her.
46:51And then she falls down a little bit.
46:53The Hilliards still trying to get one up to the top.
46:56Amy Walsh is not letting go.
46:58They're trying to drag her up to the top.
47:02Can they do it?
47:03They are so close.
47:06The Hilliards still battling away with it.
47:08And now, really, it's anything we'll do.
47:09Amy trying to get her left leg up to the top of the lift.
47:12They've got her now.
47:13Yeah, they've got her.
47:14They've got her to the top.
47:16And there is the place of the semi-final.
47:19Guaranteed for the Walsh family from Cork.
47:21They backed it up, didn't they?
47:24There's no unfinished business.
47:26There's no regrets.
47:27There's no, if a couple of things hadn't gone our way, it was a fair result in the end.
47:32More generally, it was just such a positive experience spending time with those guys.
47:35They're a great family.
47:37They're lovely.
47:37They really care about each other.
47:39We're going to have this the rest of our lives.
47:40Look back on, you know, as parents and as a family, three daughters.
47:44It's been just incredible.
47:45But also, like, for our dad to be, like, in good health and be able to, like,
47:49do something like that with us, to want to spend that time with us,
47:52like, it's something that, like, we definitely don't take for granted.
47:55Oh, my God.
47:56Here we go.
47:57Amy, I'm going to start with you.
47:58Well done.
48:00How are you feeling?
48:01Can I show you my bruises?
48:01You can, of course.
48:02Yeah.
48:03A few more there.
48:05Can I say that again?
48:06It was worth it.
48:07It was worth it.
48:09Absolutely buzzing.
48:09A bit better than bruised, but hey, you know, each bruise is a story to tell.
48:14Was there ever a date they were going to make it into the semis?
48:17Everyone was all talk, oh, no, you're not all this.
48:19You're not all that.
48:22You saw us up the top.
48:24They're all gusto and they're all talk, but that put it up to them.
48:27They were shook after that, like, so that's great.
48:29And that'll stand to us going into it.
48:31I think it's really good to have done the eliminator going into the next round,
48:33so you know what to expect.
48:35So, yeah, we're buzzing on into the semifinals.
48:37You've met your match in this family, Michael Dara, and I'm absolutely delighted to say
48:41you're going to the semifinals of Ireland's Fittest Family.
48:45Ah, unbelievable stuff all together.
48:50Michael Dara has made it through to the semifinals, but who is going to be joining
48:53and we'll find out right back here again next week with the last of our quarterfinals.
48:58See you then.
49:00This bit looks okay.
49:01That bit, that bit looks okay.
49:03It's that bit over there.
49:05Next week, it's the last quarterfinals.
49:08Stewart, Stewart, fight.
49:10It doesn't matter how tired you are at the end, finish strong.
49:12Let's just get up and do it, get up and do it.
49:14Who will rise to the occasion?
49:16The round, well done.
49:17Come on, Tom.
49:19Come on.
49:20Relax.
49:20Relax.
49:21You're like, don't jump.
49:23And who will fall at the final hurdle?
49:26Grit your teeth!
49:51You can even put the confirmations for so long razors together in this embankment of the
49:57cular miel.
49:58We can't sell them at this point.
49:59All right.
50:00Enjoy.
50:01You have a break.
50:02— Let me 여러ven on the space, Jane, and Zoe's Fenway.
