00:00When you buy in, do you buy the dip?

00:02Because Ohio State is in a little bit of a dip right now.

00:04They're down 7% on their chance.

00:07A live look is at 31% to win the college football championship.

00:11A $100 wager, Joe, would return $323.

00:15Ohio State, are you buying the dip, Joe, here?

00:20Oh, yes, absolutely.

00:21And again, I still don't think what you got with them against Indiana

00:27because this current system doesn't really reward a Big Ten championship,

00:32does it, Donnie?

00:33It was clear that that game meant everything to Indiana,

00:37and Ryan Day and Ohio State were like,

00:39yeah, okay, let's just see exactly what we've got here.

00:43What we've got is the team won a game with 13 points,

00:46and they needed a chip shot field goal to go wide right in order for them

00:51not to go to overtime and have a chance to lose that game.

00:55So I think there's another gear here for Ohio State.

00:59So the fact that I can get them at this price now, yeah, I'm willing to go

01:04because ultimately I believe defense is going to win a championship

01:08and nobody's got a better one than Ohio State.

01:11It's funny because, again, you're buying a little bit lower than Ohio State,

01:14not really a referendum game because it didn't answer a lot of questions either side.

01:18You knew Ohio State had a really good defense or offense that played that well.

01:21You knew they were both in it, so if you lost it, it wasn't that big of a deal.

01:24But if we are looking a little bit down, Joe, Indiana, Georgia, Texas Tech, Oregon,

01:29because I know Texas Tech is starting to open up a lot of people's eyes.

01:32A&M and Miami, they're going to tee it up in their first-round game,

01:355% chance for A&M, 4% chance for Miami.

01:38Some of the lower teams, Joe, because the one that does give me a little bit of intrigue,

01:43it's Oklahoma.

01:44And people say, well, Oklahoma's offense stinks.

01:46Their defense is tremendous.

01:47And Joe just said, like, defense is going to win championships here.

01:50A $100 wager on Oklahoma pays back $3,300, and they have a home game right off the bat

01:56in the college football playoff to start.

01:58Anybody down the list, Joe, that you feel if you buy in, and also we're talking about this,

02:03they don't have to win the championship for you to make a profit.

02:07So if you buy Oklahoma and they win one playoff game, their number's going to increase.

02:11And a stock market strategy like Calci in the predictive market,

02:14you can cash out after they win one game and put profit in your pocket, Joe.

02:17Well, that's the whole thing, Donnie, right?

02:20I don't need to wait for the outcome in order to make money on it.

02:24And that's what you got to love about it.

02:26And listen, to me, I think there is one team that has a legit shot at actually taking it all down.

02:32And that is Texas Tech.

02:34And I think that now would be the time.

02:37You know, the good part about backing Texas Tech right now, Donnie,

02:41is the simple fact that they will be out of sight, out of mind,

02:44because they're not going to play a game here the first go-around, right?

02:48So kind of out of sight, out of mind, they'll move on.

02:51But boy, oh boy, I think that the minute they get one win under their belt here,

02:58this is a number you got to jump on early if you hadn't jumped on it already.

03:02And who are we kidding, Donnie?

03:04The U is going to steamroll Texas A&M,

03:07and then you're not going to get them at a better price than you are right now.

03:12So if you want to look for a team playing this week or in the next week and a half,

03:17go ahead and back to University of Miami to get it done.
