00:54I run a wellness company and we deal in medical supplements.

00:59We've worked really hard in our life.
01:01We're ready to take the plunge in a lakefront home.
01:03Having a place on the waterfront has always been a dream of mine.
01:06Jen is such a kind and loving person.
01:10We actually met the first day of university.
01:13We did meet that first day, but I didn't like him initially.
01:15Edward is very messy.
01:17Is that too honest?
01:18He's got piles everywhere and I'm always merging them.
01:22Making bigger piles.
01:24The number one thing on my wish list is I want to be able to just sit outside, enjoy the views.
01:30Also, a home that's large enough that family, guests, and friends can gather comfortably.
01:35Another thing that's important to me is our big walk-in closet.
01:38I would love a centralized place where we can gather something like a bar.
01:43Our 14-year-old son's still at home, so we need a space for him.
01:47This is where Edward and I are going to grow old together and enjoy life.

03:46This bedroom is one of the secondary bedrooms.
03:48It has its concrete piece en suite.
03:51I thought it was the perfect spot for your son.
03:53He's going to love the fact that it's right beside the kitchen
03:55because he spends 90% of his time in the fridge.
03:57One of the best features is that it's the furthest from the primary bedroom.

05:41The minute I walked into the great room, I was just taken back by all of you.
05:45The only drawback I see is that we need more space for the whole family to gather in.
05:49The views in this entire house are just incredible, and the kitchen was no exception.
05:54That guest bedroom would be perfect for my son.
05:57And the best part is that it's miles away from the primary bedroom, so we don't have to hear him at all.

06:04Not enough room for myself, let alone both of us.
06:06You really made up for it when you took us to that spa-like bathroom.
06:09But we really want those big lake views.

08:39And it's also facing the front and not the back, which is the incredible priceless view.

10:53The biggest drawback for me is that when I'm cooking, my view is the front yard.
10:57Primary just has an amazing view.
11:00The fact that we have our own private deck outside of the bedroom is just perfect for us.

11:09The lower level was great.
11:11Yeah, our son's going to take that over.
11:13And when we stepped outside, big lake views were number one on my list, and this house really delivers with those.

13:17You want it to be able to cook, and look at those big lake views.
13:20We have that cooktop that faces the lakefront.
13:22I love the countertop with the waterfall feature.
13:26My favorite is obviously the cooktop.
13:29It's not gas, but it does face the lake.
13:31I would say that we're tight for a little space here.
13:34And another thing that's a little disappointing, Mike, is where's my bar?
13:37We do have a rather large servery that if you did want to get it plumbed, you could go ahead and make it more of a traditional bar.
13:44That's something to think about.
13:45Now that we've seen the main level, let's head up to the second level.

13:53I love the ceiling.
13:54This primary bedroom, you have the cathedral ceilings, your own private deck.
13:58There's really no room for a dresser or anything in here.
14:01We have something to accommodate that just around the corner.

14:11I think it is.

14:15This five-piece en suite features this double vanity, extra-long soaker tub, glass-enclosed shower.

15:46The big issue for me is the great room.
15:48We just can't get our whole family comfortably in here.
15:50The kitchen, I really appreciated the fact that the cooktop faced the lake.
15:55The kitchen is beautiful, but it really is too small.
15:57Of all the three properties, that really was the largest closet and it was just beautifully laid out.

16:05It's mostly tub.
16:06Outside, there was the large bonus space.
16:08I could visualize my son down there having fun.
16:12The lakefront, both of us were in awe of the views.

18:45Walking into those high ceilings, the wall of windows, what an incredible view and what a grand space.
18:51When I walked into the kitchen, I really liked that it was a little bit more modern than the rest of the house.
18:56But the cooktop doesn't face the lake and it's not a gas stove.
19:00That primary bedroom closet, not very big.
19:03The en suite, fantastic space, almost as big as the bedroom.
19:07The moment we stepped outside, you know how important the views are to me and they were there, big lake views.
19:13And lastly, I'd love to know what you thought about property number three, Glass Castle.
19:17This 2,500 square foot modern home has four bedrooms and four bathrooms.
19:24The great room has 20 foot ceilings with a wall of windows looking out to the backyard.
19:28The kitchen has quartz countertops with a cooktop that faces the lake.

19:50I could tell absolutely right from the start that this was a modern design and I love that.
19:54The moment we walked into the great room, I love the views to the backyard, but I'm not sure our whole family can gather comfortably.
20:01That kitchen, the clean, simple design, I loved that.
20:05It's a little bit small, it'd be hard for all of us to kind of work in that space.
20:08And there's no real bar, no real central area for us to socialize.
20:12The primary bedroom was small, but that closet was the best of all three properties and I loved it.
20:19The en suite, like most of the things in this house, it's just a bit too small.
20:23Outside, that bunkie would be a fantastic place for our son.
20:26Edward, Jennifer, if there was one property that you would eliminate, which one would it be?
20:31It would have to be Forest Cove.
20:34It just doesn't have the lake views that we're looking for.
20:36So which one did you choose?
20:38Well, where are we spending the next 25 years?
20:40We chose Stony Waters.
20:42Had those massive lake views and enough space for everyone in the family.
