00:40And we've been together for about 10 years now.
00:43How we met?

00:45Was food.
00:46Every time he'd see me, he'd find me eating food.
00:51He decided that next time he saw me, he'd bring me food, and that wasn't for me.
00:56He had me locked in after that.
00:58I'm a former professional football player, and I transitioned into Olympic bobsledding.
01:03Just recently won a bronze with the Olympic team.
01:06And I own a production company.
01:08We've got two properties in the city, and we're looking towards selling those in order to buy this lakefront property.
01:14On my wish list, I would love to see an open concept, a lot of natural light.
01:20A gourmet kitchen for hosting, definitely a fireplace, and a fire pit outside.
01:26An office space would be really great for me to still keep running my business.
01:30On my wish list, I need a gym space where I can train, and we need large ceilings.
01:35I love taking baths, so I'd really like a big soaker tub.
01:40We're looking for something in between modern and rustic, but more leaning towards rustic.

06:51The pine ceilings continue into the primary bedroom, which includes an en-suite bathroom with a soaker tub.
06:57The spacious lower level has a granite stone gas fireplace and walks out to a fully landscaped backyard.

08:15You could always switch that over to a gas appliance, but I can't pick the lake up and move it around.

08:26It's carried through the tongue-and-grew pine ceilings.

09:11But there's also a three-bay car garage attached with ample space.

09:41I kind of envisioned the workout space by the water, but I'm willing to compromise.

10:10The moment we walked into this great room, my eyes went straight to that lake.
10:15And walking into that kitchen, that island is huge for hosting.
10:19The only issue for me is that it's not a gas stovetop.
10:22It's facing the wall and away from the lake.
10:25As much as I loved everything about this main floor, I was just really underwhelmed when we got into the primary bedroom.
10:32Troy, when we walked down to that lower level, that was the gold medal room.
10:36I love the fact that there's a stone fireplace downstairs.
10:39And this is a great space for me to maybe set up my workout equipment down there.

10:48Seeing that fire pit, that was it for me.
10:52And that dock is amazing.

12:21This is about as rustic as it can get.
12:23It's a towering ceiling in here.
12:25It's 24 feet high.
12:26We've got a floor to ceiling, dry stack, granite, wood-burning fireplace.
12:31This fireplace is the best we've seen.
12:34One thing I noticed is that in here we don't necessarily see the lake few as much as we were seeing in the other properties.
12:41This is a little more privacy with all the trees here.
12:43Let's go check out the kitchen.
12:44Here is a kitchen I could cook in.

12:49You've got the double sinks over the water, and you've got a massive island.
12:53This island is huge!

12:56And again, if you look behind you, there's just a gorgeous sitting area there, another dry stack, granite fireplace, and then a beautiful dining room.
13:05They've carried through the timber frame effect right on through to that sitting area and dining room.
13:08The ceilings are a bit lower.
13:09I think that might be what is making it feel a little bit dark.

13:17This is not what I was expecting.
13:19And I love it.
13:21This is a princess bedroom.
13:23I can already see her ringing for breakfast.
13:25On the headboard, there's the stone you love so much, and as well, they carried it through to the fireplace, and this double-sided gas fireplace carries right on through to the ensuite.
13:34The size of this room is not that much bigger than the second property.
13:39It's a little dark, too.

15:04Troy, as soon as we walked into this place, it had that rustic tone that we wanted.
15:08And I love the high ceilings in the great room.
15:11It just feels so open and airy.
15:13The only issue for me with the great room is there's no real lake views.
15:17That island and that kitchen, it's huge.
15:21And the views from the kitchen were beautiful, but I feel like it's pretty dark in there with
15:26how the ceilings are pretty low.
15:28That primary bedroom felt like a room fit for a queen.
15:32And again, with the rustic touches, it really makes the room a bit dark.
15:36I absolutely love that en suite and the soaker tub with the views.

17:57and a private sandy beach next to an expansive dock on 296 feet of water frontage.
18:03Rustic Getaway is listed at $3.9 million.
18:07The place has the perfect mix of rustic and modern touches.
18:12I love how much sunlight comes through the windows and those 30-foot ceilings and that view.
18:18It was breathtaking.
18:19The moment I walked into that kitchen, that island, it was a perfect size.
18:24The only drawback I have is that cooktop.
18:27It's facing the wall, and it's not really interacting with our guests or even a view with the lake.
18:31As great as the main floor was in this property, the primary bedroom was a bit underwhelming.
18:37But walking down to the lower level, it's fantastic.
18:40You're at the top of the podium with that.
18:42Now, if I can just get some gym equipment in there, that'll be the perfect space for me.
18:45No, that's going to be in the garage.
18:46Well, I guess that'll work too.
18:48Outside, I can tell how much detail they put into the landscaping.
18:53And it's got my fire pit and a sandy beach.
18:56And the fact that this property is 100 acres, that's a lot of land for me to get my workouts done.
19:00And lastly, I'd love to know what you thought about property number three, stately timbers.
19:05This 8,000 square foot home has six bedrooms and five bathrooms.
19:10The great room has vaulted ceilings with reclaimed wood beams and a large granite wood-burning fireplace.
19:15The kitchen has an oversized island with granite countertops and a sink that faces out to the waterfront next to a dining space.
19:22This property comes with its own gym that includes a change room, shower, and sauna.
19:26Outside, there's a fire pit above a large dock on 800 feet of water frontage.
19:31Stately Timbers comes with a price tag of $4.5 million.
19:37Absolutely love the high ceilings in this place.
19:39And that mix of rock and wood, it really gave that rustic vibe.

19:45I couldn't ask for anything better.
19:47But I wish I could see a bit more of the lake.
19:49Seeing that huge island, I can just see us entertaining.
19:53But with the low ceilings, it just feels a bit dark.
19:56When we walked into that primary bedroom, that mix of stone wall and wood beam really carried out that rustic feeling throughout the whole house.
20:04The only issue with this room is that, again, it feels a bit dark.
20:07And the fact that that house has its own home gym, that'll really help me train for the Olympics.
20:12The dock might just be my favorite place on that whole property.
20:15It's got so much space to entertain, sandy beach, and it's got my fire pit.
20:20Greg, Catherine, if you were to eliminate one property right now, what would it be?
