00:00Previously on The Last Woodsman, you gotta be kidding me. My bid for the forever claim,
00:16somebody beat me, John Muhammad. Jared strikes a costly deal to establish a foothold at the
00:23forever claim. If you've defaulted on any payment of the royalties, no questions asked, I repossessed
00:29the float camp. But with his crew now split between two camps, it's a risky balance between
00:38maximizing every last day at the float camp claim, and delivering on the lofty royalty of
00:48the forever claim. Show me the money. I only have two weeks to make sure the first log barge
00:54has a $100,000 check going to John. If I don't deliver, it's game over.
01:01John, how you doing?
01:08John, how you doing?
01:17Yeah, Jared, I just wanted to check in with you and see how things were going.
01:33Things are going well here.
01:34Okay, good.
01:35I'm in a bit of a rock and a hard spot. John definitely has the upper hand on me right
01:41now. But if I can get through this season and hold my end of this bargain, he will sell
01:48me the forever claim for $2 million. And that is definitely worth the risk.
01:53We're going to have that wood ready for the first log barge, no problem. I've got my best
01:58crews on it. Things are happening. I've sourced out every piece of equipment that I can find.
02:03Okay, well, I'm really glad to hear that, Jared, that it's going well. And you're hitting
02:08your production targets and looking forward to that barge coming in.
02:11Okay, you have a good day.
02:20We need to pick up the pace right now. If I don't raise this $2 million, I pretty much worked
02:26a whole season for nothing. I need to just keep the push. That's my job. I'm the boss.
02:33I'm the push. We've got to keep our foot on the floorboard, get that money to John Muhammad,
02:38and own this claim.
02:45Two weeks in, Jared's expanded operation is splashing wood on both fronts. So far, the
02:53forever claim crew has harvested about 2,000 tons of big timber, putting them just on pace
02:59to deliver his first royalty. But the lease on the float cam claim ends in just three
03:04weeks' time. So the crew needs to log every last bit of big timber to stand a chance of
03:09meeting his $2 million goal by winter.
03:12All the tires look good. New boards.
03:22To hit his first target at the forever claim, there's one more machine to haul up the mountain.
03:29Super Snorkel. It's a machine that casts down, grabs logs, and pulls them up to the road.
03:34It uses gravity to its advantage and its long boom to get the casting going on. So it's almost
03:39like fishing for logs. They're very, very productive, but they are a very big pain in the ass to move.
03:48The tow job will be a nine-mile trek uphill over some of the roughest road known to logging.
03:54And with the heavy load, they'll need to maintain momentum the whole way.
03:59It's going to be a pins and needles day. The snorkel is 140 tons, and it sticks up 135 feet in the air.
04:06I have a solid team. I've got Lance, who's really good on the truck.
04:11I have Glenn, who's going to be amazing on the machine.
04:14And I'm going to have to drive the push truck.
04:16We're going to have some steep slopes where we're going to need to push and pull the low bed.
04:20Need my driving boots.
04:22OK.
04:24See if we can do this.
04:32Here's a go.
04:33You have all this snorkel and lines and cables in the air, and everything's bouncing, and we've had it almost flip off the low bed.
04:54That's the biggest danger.
04:57The last time I drove the push truck, we just about stalled on a hill like this.
05:01And if you're behind in the push truck, you're going to get hit.
05:04He's a good pusher guy. He's not scared of the throttle.
05:27It's like salmon swimming upstream. Never lose momentum. But anyone who's ever followed one of these down the road, you're on pins and needles because it looks like it's going to topple off a little bit all day long.
05:47You got your water on, Lance, or are we dragging a break?
05:48You got your water on, Lance, or are we dragging a break?
05:50You got your water on, Lance? You got your water on, Lance, or are we dragging a break?
05:56You got your water on Lance or are we dragging a break?
06:15I don't know, you see something smoke in there?
06:21It's not good.
06:4080 miles away at the float camp claim.
06:50Hey, here we are Jim.
06:52Our new home.
06:55Not very warm out today is it?
06:57No, it's a little chilly than yesterday.
06:59I think we're on the back side of the northern exposure here.
07:04Might have some uphill leaners.
07:06Fallers Jim Gardner and Rob Winger are on a mission to find and harvest the last big end of life cycle giants.
07:15I'll be right on the other side of that other rock knob there.
07:18Okay, I can hear you from there.
07:20Oh yeah.
07:21We'll see you at quitting time.
07:22Give me a call if you need anything.
07:24Okay.
07:25Thanks buddy.
07:26And good luck.
07:27To make the most of the remaining three weeks, they'll pivot to a new tactic.
07:36Divide and conquer.
07:40We've got a big red cedar.
07:45Looks like seven, eight feet.
07:47Do a little...
07:50Yeah, that's solid.
07:55Yeah, that's pretty stellar.
07:57Yeah, it's just where we're going to want to put this is all.
08:05There's something unique about my job and that's the fact that the terrain is very inaccessible by anything but boots on the ground.
08:15We're in the middle of nowhere.
08:17There's no roads around.
08:18It's like the Wild West.
08:20It's a different set of rules.
08:22It's keep yourself alive, common sense rules.
08:25And common sense is like deodorant.
08:28The people who need it the most don't have it or use it.
08:31We've got a rock bluff over there.
08:34When this thing lands down, it's going to smash over there.
08:37The whole top's going to shatter off, be lost over the hill and we're only going to be left to the start segment.
08:41And even that's going to be slabbed and broken.
08:43We do not want that.
08:45We literally have one small corridor we have to shoot for.
08:52To avoid the rock bluff, Jim will aim the tree straight down the hill.
09:00But a fall that far could risk damaging it too.
09:05As a precaution, he'll also make adjustments to his face cut.
09:12I'm going to open up my undercut a bit more so that the tree's going to commit.
09:17It's going to be more 45 and committed to falling by the time it closes and disconnects from that stump.
09:23So it's going to be ultra committed to where it's going to land.
09:26On top of that, I'm just going to shave the little chin off of the front of the undercut so that this tree is going to hit the ground, the butt of it, before the top of it.
09:35Which will minimize the impact to the ground and to the tree.
09:38Fingers crossed, touch wood.
09:41We get this big tree down with this little saw.
09:51If it goes too far up the hill, it's going to be breaking and devalued and half the tree is going to be lost and we can't recover it in the first place.
09:58That's going to be the issue.
10:28It looks like this is pretty much going to be right on, but what I'm going to want to do is I'm going to want to take this little bit of a chin off and stick my saw in and take the inside of this tree out.
10:46So by the time we have the back cut done, it just falls over.
11:02It looks like that is pretty candy.
11:25Oh, my God.
11:55Oh, my God.
12:26In the hills of the float camp claim, Jim's best efforts to keep this cedar intact failed.
12:32I had the absolute blind faith that it was going perfectly.
12:38This tree wasn't as sound as it sounded like.
12:41It was sad to see that it separated, but it is there.
12:44We'll see if we can solve something in the end.
12:47It's basically shingle.
12:48It needs a little bit of TLC to recuperate what we have left there.
12:53We'll keep slaying away.
12:54Back at the forever claim.
13:00A little bit of a truck has a brake hanging up by the looks of it.
13:16Take a look at what's going on.
13:23Yeah, lads, it seemed like this one was getting warm.
13:26It was.
13:27Yeah, it's a little bit warmer than the others.
13:29These fat trucks have an extremely robust braking system that needs water.
13:37We have to really make sure that we keep our brakes cool, or you will find yourself up creek without a paddle.
13:43We're going to fill the water tank in that plogging truck.
13:51We don't get water into the brakes.
13:53The brakes could heat up.
13:55They could fade and crash or maybe even burn.
14:00Probably both.
14:03Underneath?
14:03Yeah, man.
14:05All right, here we go.
14:13Yeah, my water tank's full.
14:22Excellent, good job.
14:28I wonder how these trees are going to be.
14:30Well, that's the issue.
14:32They won't do great.
14:34When the low bed turns, and that snorkel's going to go like this, and it's going to be knocking these trees here.
14:42This is the danger zone, for sure.
14:44Yeah.
14:46Okay, we ready to roll.
14:48I'm ready back here.
14:50Okay, mate.
14:52Here we go.
14:55On the road again.
14:57I wish I knew the rest of the song.
15:00This has been a battle, but it kind of gets a little more challenging.
15:05This is the tale of the tape for the trip today.
15:07I can't afford to have anything happen to these machines.
15:09Now as this road gets windy, these trees will get, there'll be lots of debris on the road.
15:22Here comes the shrapnel.
15:28Not a lot of fun having these things drop on you.
15:31You never know if one can come through the window.
15:33Like that one, and that one.
15:53Okay, Dave, I'm in the clear now.
15:54You can start logging anytime.
15:57Okay, picking it up here.
15:59Back at the float camp claim, former hook tender turned woods foreman Brand Laviolette,
16:08along with yarder operator Dave Cox, mop up fallen timber to prepare it for hauling.
16:14Because we had so much rain, the soil itself isn't as strong as it should be.
16:21There's not a whole lot to work with here, but we'll turn this into sugar.
16:25I've been logging for 21, 22 years.
16:31I'm a fifth generation logger on the west coast.
16:34I grew up in a logging camp town, so it was an easy transition for me.
16:39And now I'm living the dream.
16:42Get some petrol.
16:44A hook tender is defined as the man in charge of a grappler to your side.
16:49You're the hill boss.
16:50You're the guy orchestrating all the moving parts.
16:52You're running a chess game right here.
16:56We're going to go to a stump that's going to be strong enough, really stable stump.
17:07It's got a lot of wood in front of it.
17:08I think this is going to be the guy.
17:11To do its job, a grapple yarder must be anchored to multiple points
17:15so it can pick up logs and pull them down to the roadside.
17:18But when a yarder has gathered everything in its reach,
17:22it's on Brad to rig the new anchor points, also known as tail holds,
17:27that keep the team harvesting across the hillside.
17:33Come on, wake up.
17:38Buy some new saws, Jared.
17:40Time is of the essence here.
17:51I've got to take all this gear, I've got to rig it up, and just go.
17:56The hook tender sets the pace for the whole operation.
17:58If you're not getting the wood, no one else can touch it.
18:01Now that I'm satisfied with my tieback and the stability of this next anchor point,
18:04you can start yarding again.
18:05Okay, I'm in the clear.
18:13We can give her a tight line whenever you're ready.
18:23Oops, hold on, hold on.
18:25Whoa, whoa.
18:28We're heading there.
18:29We're going to have an issue.
18:35I can see there's a great big hemlock log laying on top of everything,
18:39and it's up off the ground.
18:40My running lines are actually going to sweep under it,
18:42and it's going to create a gun barrel.
18:44Oh, jamming it, Craig.
18:46A gun barrel happens when a log juts into the direct path of the yarder's pulling cable.
18:57If the two collide, it could send the log straight down at the grapple yarder.
19:05My quick fix for that is to take my saw, buck it off,
19:09and that piece will just get out of her way.
19:11All right.
19:29All right, take care of that.
19:31Okay, going ahead, easy.
19:32All right.
19:33Roger that.
19:34Going ahead.
19:35Okay.
19:41Nice.
19:50Off to market.
19:53That's what we like.
19:57Now I've got a couple minutes I can pour by into the future
20:00and look at my next tail hole option.
20:05So when he's done harvesting all that timber,
20:07I've got the next tail hole ready to go.
20:09He plugs in.
20:11Same thing over and over and over all day.
20:15All right, feet, don't feel me now.
20:22Let's go.
20:24That one track's pretty loose.
20:26Track coming off the snorkel is like blowing two tires on your pickup truck.
20:31We need to fix this, and we need to fix this right now.
20:39And the super snorkel haul hit the trickiest stretch yet.
21:03under fire from heavy branches
21:06that could topple the snorkel
21:07or destroy the push truck.
21:13They say the darkest is always before the dawn.
21:16This is it.
21:21But we're making her nothing broken yet.
21:26It's chaos.
21:27It's absolute chaos.
21:28And you never know when that tree's going to come down,
21:30smash into the windshield.
21:33I'm off, baby.
21:35I'm coming, Lance.
21:36I'm coming.
21:38I can't tell you enough how I hate moving this damn machine.
21:44But the payoff will be there when it gets to its destination.
21:51That's a beautiful temperature there.
21:53Absolutely.
21:54Nice hammers.
21:56We're getting close now.
22:00Let's go.
22:03Oh, yeah.
22:14Yeah, we're here.
22:17We're going to drop the ramps now.
22:20We're going to get this old girl off my back.
22:23With the steepest road still ahead,
22:29Glynn will have to walk the final stretch
22:32to the job site on his own.
22:34But the rough ride so far
22:36has already claimed a casualty.
22:43That one track's pretty loose.
22:45You almost get a link out of that.
22:51Track coming off the snorkel is like pretty much blowing two tires on your pickup truck.
22:56We don't have the time and I don't have the patience.
22:58We need to fix this and we need to fix this right now.
23:00Quite a few snags kicking around, but there's also some freaking money trees in here.
23:26Back at float camp, with less than three weeks left to finish falling operations,
23:32Rob is hard on the hunt for his next timber giant.
23:37That's a beautiful tree.
23:39Hopefully it's sound.
23:40Because if it's sound, it's a money tree.
23:45Hemlock growing out of it too.
23:47It started growing right down here
23:50and then
23:52said, hey, what the hell,
23:54I'm just going to use him for support
23:56and grew right up the side of him.
23:58Hemlocks are a bit parasitic sometimes.
24:00You'll find any little crack in these cedars
24:02and just suck all the nutrients out of them.
24:06Please be sound.
24:12Sounds pretty good.
24:14Sounds like it's got some meat to her.
24:18We've got 27 feet.
24:22No idea what that is for diameter.
24:24Falling is not just big dumb lumberjacks out in the bush.
24:27It's a big puzzle you're picking apart.
24:29Weight transfer and movement.
24:31It's all physics.
24:33I originally was going to university for an electronics technology degree
24:38and I don't know if I ran out of interest or money first.
24:42I can't remember which it was
24:43but I went logging and never turned back.
24:47This tree looks like it's got everything we need
24:50for value, size, scale.
24:55But it's definitely got a good lean
24:57and that undercut has to be perfect
25:00because if I throw it too far this way
25:03it's going to freaking go right into these nice cedars over here
25:06and smash the s**t out of them
25:08so I've got to get it right in between these cedars.
25:11I'll have to watch out with that cedar eater here.
25:15If it doesn't go with the cedar
25:17it could fall over up there.
25:21Hopefully it holds together.
25:23Once I get my undercut out
25:25I think I can cut up both sides
25:27and tee it up and leave a strap.
25:29That's why I'm going to cut the sides up first
25:31and leave my trigger right in there.
25:40To keep this tree from smashing
25:42Rob will have to shoot a tight gap
25:44between two nearby cedars
25:45and hope the hemlock growing off the back
25:48doesn't break loose and crush them.
25:50To better his odds
25:51he'll make his usual face cut
25:53then trim away at the tree's sides
25:56leaving just enough holding wood
25:58for a fast final cut.
26:02Let's do it.
26:14We won't know for sure
26:15until I get it on the ground
26:16but this is probably going to be
26:19the highest value tree in here.
26:21It's pretty important to lay this in properly.
26:23Let's just check the aim.
26:33Fingers crossed
26:34it's aimed in the right direction.
26:37If I stick with that
26:38that's near bang on.
26:40I'll just make it deeper
26:41and cut the guts out of it.
26:44I always do a smaller one
26:45and then I widen it out.
26:47That's just because of the small bar.
26:52Everybody's like
26:52why don't you just use a bigger bar
26:53because I'm trying to make my back
26:56last till I'm 65.
26:59Okay.
27:00Okay.
27:00Okay.
27:00Okay.
27:00One, seven, 2, 1, what 2020?
27:11One, two, one, two.
27:14Five, one, one.
27:21Once, once, once.
27:22Run.
27:25One, two, one.
27:25Holy f**k, it's starting to pop.
27:46Okay, this thing wants to go before I want it to go,
27:49and I need to be ready to bolt if it does.
27:51Oh, f**k.
27:55So it was starting to pop on that side.
28:14I don't want to cut any more back this way.
28:17So now I'm going to hit my trigger and f**king send it.
28:21First time it popped, jarred me into, uh-oh, it does want to go.
28:25Sooner than later.
28:26Oh, yeah.
28:31Right on the money.
28:50And look at that.
28:54Hemlock's slowly falling over.
29:06That's why I finished right in the back, just because of f**k like that.
29:09Cedar saved out.
29:13That's the f**king main thing.
29:15Pretty damn beautiful piece of wood.
29:17High grade, high grade, high grade.
29:18There's a truckload of wood laying there.
29:20Good fall.
29:22Best case scenario happened.
29:23We got a busted track.
29:39We're supposed to line up with these pins, and that makes the track turn.
29:44As the sprocket turns, it hooks those pins, and it rolls the track, giving me motion.
29:51Now, as you see, this one here is nice and tight, and that's how it's supposed to be.
29:59Very, very slack.
30:00That is just too risky.
30:02So we could get wrecked terribly.
30:05We've got to keep it safe.
30:07You know, I've got lots of experience running the snorkel.
30:09You have to be aware.
30:11And don't be too ballsy, because one mistake in that thing, over it goes.
30:18The team's only option now?
30:21Bring out a mechanic.
30:23But the extra time is worth the delay.
30:29First time that Glenn ever came to work for me, two days in, the machine started having problems with tracks.
30:36He flipped the machine off the side of the mountain.
30:42The machine did a tumble down the bank.
30:45Ended up on its roof.
30:47I came running down there, freed him from the cab.
30:50His words were, don't worry about me, boss.
30:53My wife me harder than this.
30:55And he had a broken back.
30:57When we packaged him up, we flew him out in a helicopter, and I never thought he'd be back.
31:02So I think he has a lot of fear of the tracks acting up again.
31:09Here comes the calvary.
31:15As you can see.
31:16Oh, yeah.
31:18There's the problem.
31:23We're pumping nitrogen into the cylinder.
31:26It's making the idler come out and tighten the track so we can carry on.
31:32Oh, God of all trackage.
31:34Rise and be proud.
31:41Yeah, we're just over 2,000.
31:45What?
31:45Tighten up once you walk, you think?
31:47It should.
31:48Once I move it.
31:50Back up and do the races.
31:52Here we go.
31:53Let's get this show on the road, finally.
31:56Nice snag there, big fella.
32:12Looking over the area here, I think Dave's pretty much done grappling everything he can see.
32:17How's it going, Dave?
32:18You almost out of wood there?
32:19Yes, I am.
32:21Copy that.
32:22Having finally hit their stride, Brad and Dave must now reach the rest of the timber,
32:28which means re-anchoring the yarder's pulling cable further across the hill
32:31and setting it up to withstand more than 90,000 pounds of force.
32:36Right now, I've identified the next tail hold to be used, so I'm going to tie that stump back
32:42to one of these green, healthy trees in lead to make sure that that stump is not going
32:46to pull during the yarding process.
32:50Tail hold failure can be extremely dangerous.
32:56You know, this grapple yarder in low gear, you can pull half the mountain down if you're
33:03not ready for it.
33:06But in a region that receives more than 10 feet of precipitation per year, loose soil
33:12is always a concern.
33:14There.
33:16That should hold her back.
33:22Because we had so much rain, still kind of worried about the soil saturation and loss
33:27of integrity of the root systems here, so we're just going to have to be real delicate.
33:30If all things go according to plan, we're really going to pick up some speed here, pick up
33:34some time, we're just going to produce like bastards and hopefully make the boss a good
33:39dollar here.
33:39But it's all going to depend on this stump and if we can make her stay in the ground.
33:43All right, Dave, we're all clear up the hill here, give her a good tight line here, see what
33:48the stump's made of.
33:49Okay, here we go.
33:55Come on, baby, hold in there.
33:57Oh, suck it out, suck it out, suck it out.
34:11Yeah, so for a day's work out here, this is my wedge belt.
34:17I got my tape measure here, measuring out the logs, bucking them to length.
34:22This is my chainsaw, of course, very dangerous piece of machinery, gotta be careful, keep
34:28it away from your legs.
34:29Got a flashlight for emergencies, a knife in case a bear wants to attack me.
34:35This thing's just a beauty, the old multipurpose jug here.
34:39This isn't actually vodka, I'm not drinking at work, it is water.
34:44It's just the perfect jug and it fits in my pack well.
34:47I have this old Tupperware here I stole from my mom years ago.
34:52And it's just full of all kinds of spare parts, wrenches, pliers, mounts, just small essentials
34:58that if I were to break down while I'm up there cutting trees down, I can repair my saw
35:03without wasting too much time.
35:05That's pretty well what I carry in my pack, varies from guy to guy, but that seems to work
35:11for me.
35:13Oh, suck it out, suck it out, suck it out.
35:26This stump's done.
35:28In the hills above the float camp claim, Brad's mission to bring logs down to the roadside
35:33is falling apart.
35:35So obviously we just had a major blow to production here.
35:39This stump, it's pulled so we're gonna have to regroup, reset, come up with a new plan.
35:44As I look around, there's an option we have right here, real close, I could actually climb
35:48this tree and put some blocks and straps as high as necessary to get the lines and the
35:53grapple picked up off the forest floor.
35:56The bigger the spread you can get between your guy line and your top choker makes that
36:00tree that much more strong.
36:02So my plan is climb up probably 40, 50 feet, maybe just below the canopy.
36:08That's where I'll put my guy line out.
36:14And I love how this gear hasn't changed in 100 years.
36:17This is the same stuff my granddad was using, doing the same thing.
36:21Here we go.
36:25Crossing trees, it's not foreign to me, you know, as a kid growing up in a logging camp,
36:30it was just a form of fun and then when I became a logger, it was just part of the job
36:34detail.
36:35I've been doing it for over 20 years now, so it's second nature.
36:39But a lot of it is just knowing your gear, trusting your gear, inspecting it, you know,
36:44knowing your limit and logging within it.
36:47Look at that.
36:52It ain't pretty, but it's effective.
37:00All right, we're all hooked up.
37:01We can get out of the way, get some tension on this line, get Dave cycling the wood, it'll
37:09make Jared a happy man.
37:11All right.
37:12Radio check, one, two.
37:15Hello.
37:16Hey, Dave, we're all good to move here.
37:19Positioning the clear, hook her up.
37:21Oh, yeah.
37:22Checking it up.
37:23Oh, yeah.
37:24Come on, little loggies.
37:28Yeah, looking good.
37:29I'm impressed with the tree there.
37:30The angles are all looking good.
37:31Should be pretty stable.
37:32Go get him.
37:33Good.
37:34Good job.
37:35Turn off.
37:36I couldn't be more happy with the rig.
37:37We've got enough lift.
37:38Everything seems to be holding up.
37:39We're going to make up a lot of time off of this particular spar tree.
37:43A little more.
37:44Good haul back.
37:45These are the type of situations that Jared expects us to thrive in and start producing,
37:47and that's just what we're doing here.
37:52And now we're just moving product faster than we were all day.
37:53At home, this is working pretty good.
37:54Yeah, they're coming in.
37:55Yeah.
37:56Yeah.
37:57Yeah.
37:58Yeah.
37:59Yeah.
38:00Yeah.
38:01Yeah.
38:02Yeah.
38:03Yeah.
38:04Yeah.
38:05Yeah.
38:06Yeah.
38:07Yeah.
38:08Yeah.
38:23At the forever claim.
38:27At the Forever Claim.
38:37We should be good to back up.
38:51I'm driving up this hill backwards so I can keep a watchful eye on the track.
38:57Having this track come off on this route would stop us dead in the water.
39:02So we're definitely going to pay a lot of attention to that.
39:11This is the toughest spot.
39:13I have to watch the tracks on the road. I don't want to go to the ditch.
39:17And I have to watch my snorkel, make sure it gets by these trees.
39:21So we don't land anything on us.
39:24The track still looks good and tight. That's good.
39:40There it is.
39:41There it is.
39:49Oh, we did it, boys.
39:50Took a little longer than we expected, but hey, we're here.
39:54This was a hell of a task, but big reward.
39:58We got her. Good job.
39:59That's one big check mark off the list, you know.
40:04Now we just have another 100 problems to deal with.
40:08We're going to do everything we can to make sure the next log barge has $100,000 as per our agreement.
40:14That will give me the ability to get to my $2 million goal that I can push to John Muhammad at the end of the day to purchase the forever claim.
40:27Great job.
40:28Awesome, man.
40:29I have this dream.
40:32It's like having an 80-year company.
40:35Knowing that I support families and those families have spinoffs.
40:40That is legacy.
40:42Risk?
40:43That's the only way to do it.
40:44Next time.
40:53I think the weight of the world on the shoulders.
40:56I got to cut every square inch of timber.
40:59I got on every square inch of that barge.
41:06If something goes wrong.
41:09Abort.
41:10Abort.
41:11John can repossess flow cam.
41:15What's going on?
41:16Just finished loading the logs up here at the forever claim.
41:19Nothing great, I'm afraid.
