00:52:47actually knows how to cook because day one i was like who can cook it yeah no one raised their hand
00:52:51everyone was just kind of like like the fire no never mind cook over an open fire and so i was
00:52:55just worried that like oh we're all gonna like just die of some strange jungle born you know rare
00:53:02meat disease yeah uncooked black chicken or crockfoot or something because some of the stuff you had to
00:53:07cook in there crock feet emu rum kangaroo tail mud crab buffalo ribs silky will there be any of these
00:53:14delicacies you'll be taken back to la to jack's kitchen i actually really liked um uh crocodile tail
00:53:21did you really liked it and that was last that was last night yeah i was like oh i could i could
00:53:25vibe with this yeah we said that we watched it with that that actually looks quite good yeah and
00:53:29shona did an amazing job yeah and by the way shona what a sleeper really amazing in the kitchen
00:53:35probably could have just done it from day one but yeah i was gonna ask how do you think they're gonna
00:53:40cope now you're gone but shona shona cook yeah yeah they'll be absolutely fine jinge and h will
00:53:44sleep until like noon yeah and uh yeah and you know tom will just be working out no it'll be fine
00:53:49this is going to be riveting television for the next couple of years yeah it's going to be amazing
00:53:53um now obviously uh jack you've had a difficult few months yeah uh which we uh you have our sympathies
00:54:00um and you had an emotional time in there as well um was it was it really nice to have the support of
00:54:06your camp mates going through that it was and it was like it was nice to have the support and it was
00:54:11nice to just kind of unplug yeah you know just to kind of like although i'm probably more plugged in
00:54:16than i've ever been in my entire life because 24-hour cameras and all that but just to have that space
00:54:22no distraction from the outside world and and just kind of be in nature and it was very it's it's hard
00:54:29in camp but it's also really basic living which i think's you know needed for me yeah and in a way
00:54:34that's good sometimes yeah you just want to switch off and it's nice to just have those wonderful
00:54:38memories yeah you don't have the phone and any distractions you're just able to get back to
00:54:42basics yeah exactly were you surprised that you bonded with them in there so much absolutely yeah
00:54:46i had no idea what to expect coming in and you know i knew a little bit about some of the the camp
00:54:51mates before and um but i had no idea kind of went into this blind and just being open to the experience
00:54:57and who was it in particular was there anybody in particular or or a group of people that you you
00:55:01lent on i really connected with eddie eddie knight click really really early on and you know he's
00:55:06a dad you know we you know dads kind of do that you know you've got those little humans too yeah um
00:55:12and then yeah just i mean h and ginge and lee i mean just everyone i had uh i felt like i had a
00:55:18connection with and you know in some way shape or form yeah uh we can't let you go without talking
00:55:23about how well you did oh my goodness jack woman take a look at this do they buy it jack is in their
00:55:32zone three go come on oh look at jack it's not his first rodeo hold it upright and spin it
00:55:38it's got good technique hasn't he these things are massive oh oh got one got one got one got it
00:55:52yes that was easy for you draw the parker drown the hatch was your personal highlight that was it

01:00:41fair weather friends i know that they are literally with me forever because of what we've experienced
01:00:45together yeah and you do you know that embrace the silly that you just said there embrace the
01:00:49juvenile yeah do you do that um at home as well not just in in camp oh yeah if you had all my emmerdale
01:00:54castmates here now really they'll say who's who's the onset jester it's riley yeah and i love it
01:01:00that way why not you know life's too short so you know couldn't agree more you know sit yourself in
01:01:04a bog of doom i don't want to do that i want to embrace it you never know how long we've got left
01:01:08you know so yeah hopefully i've well having seen that i think it's definitely been a fun ride yes
01:01:14and from the moment you arrived as well you kind of took on another role in camp as well have a look at
01:01:18this one do you sleep okay yeah man lisa very mothering very caring she definitely gives the best

01:01:39she's got a heart as big as this jungle and i'm not your mum but i'll be your jungle mama mama gonna
01:01:44be strong oh mama bear yeah they loved you for that well you got two cuddles then you got her
01:01:50you got a riley you got a riley she does give a very good cuddle did you expect to take on that role
01:01:55or that just naturally developed well do you know what i've not been lucky enough to be a mother in
01:01:59life do you know what i mean so if i was able to be the jungle mum then bring it on and yeah people just
01:02:04kept coming to me for advice and a cuddle yeah and you know we've all been through things in our
01:02:08own lives and you know i think when you've got life experience you can share it with the truth and
01:02:13also go i understand what you're going through and my heart feels the same as yours does because
01:02:17it happens in life so i'm happy to be mama bear if i'm mama bear of this jungle you know
01:02:22then then i feel like i've won already yeah i do having that title you were mama bear you were also
01:02:27though like you said a bit of the jester kind of reliving your childhood and they're playing pranks
01:02:32on all the younger ones as well yeah i mean you had enormous fun with them didn't you especially
01:02:36especially h and jinge literally they were my naughty little brothers you know and you try and keep them
01:02:42in tow you can't yeah and and again that's what i'm saying they they let me be me the real me yeah
01:02:47and and why not so if it meant like they were pranking each other bring it on yeah putting rocks in
01:02:53their bags raking them up yeah we'll have to hear your impersonation of the bus driver oh do the bus driver

01:03:05little i i love it i love it you also bonded with ruby wax from the day you met her from the moment
01:03:14you met her in the villa didn't you have a look at this this will be our position through the whole show
01:03:20lisa and i have loved each other from the start do you mind my head on the nanas not at all okay
01:03:24no that's all she lets me put my head on her memories and she tickles my head like this
01:03:29this is my happy place we have a very special relationship have you dealt with a lot of poop

01:03:46why do you think you and ruby hit it off so much straight away like when we met you two in the villa
01:03:51instantly she's a comedy genius for me as growing up you know at drama school yeah i wanted to be
01:03:56ruby wax you know what i mean and i get the privilege to live with her day in day out and listen to her
01:04:01stories and yeah she's infectious and i think when you've got those comedy minds together i think we
01:04:06just like it was like a firework we flourished it was and and again she became like my mum she's the
01:04:12mum that i lost and in there when times were tough she was there for me and how did we deal with it we
01:04:18were giddy and silly all the way you um you had a lot but also when it came to the chores yeah right
01:04:24you like telling people what they had to do yes yeah there has to be a dictator doesn't there
01:04:30because you were you were ruby's deputy and and shauna's short-lived deputy yeah so you didn't
01:04:34have to do any chores for it which is a pretty sweet gig amazing thank you very much she's not
01:04:39daft is she no no she's smart i got i got to do my fair bit washing up i loved yeah i was ever i've never
01:04:46had a day that i've not been undone and the boys hated washing up why did they hate it so much i
01:04:50think is it that bad trust me that rice you've got to get right in okay you know like crisps in the
01:04:55corner you want them little bits yeah that's what you're gonna do with the rice right right so i think
01:04:58and now these nails have stood the test of time amazing but yeah down at the pots it was fun you'd
01:05:03have good chats down there down creek but yeah i did get away with water and i've not done water
01:05:08i've not done wood so well done me um it wasn't all plain sailing down there you still had some
01:05:13trials and challenges what was the worst thing you faced in there when you guys put me in in that
01:05:18diamond that diamond uh like tunnel and yeah of course the darkness i didn't really when you said
01:05:23to me i can distinctly remember you said it will be pitch black i thought yeah okay whatever there'll be
01:05:27it was there was nothing i couldn't see my own hand yeah and that fear of enclosed spaces being hemmed in
01:05:33the darkness everything was that and god help me did them green ants love me i came back with jungle
01:05:39chicken pox literally you were so thrilled when you got eight out of eleven i thought you're chuffed
01:05:44to bits literally because you go in there going will i be capable can i get the you know the standard
01:05:50that they were getting because everyone's been getting mega numbers yeah we've got nothing less
01:05:54than six no so of course you go in there with that mindset going right i've got to bring it home now
01:05:58and i did you know so you've done it you've probably done i'm a celebrity you did a trial and you've done
01:06:03really well yeah well done listen and my my drinking i'm very impressed with that nobody can
01:06:08take that away before we let you go to all over the bridge there's the final four who do you want to
