00:00Last night, Tom, loved over one and a half rushing touchdowns for the Detroit Lions.
00:04They had four of them last night, partied there.
00:06I said, you know what?
00:06I got that in the first half.
00:08I'm guaranteed to get a CeeDee Lamb touchdown or a George Pickens touchdown
00:12because they're going to throw the rest of the game.
00:14Would you know the Dallas Cowboys kicked five field goals last night,
00:17CeeDee Lamb had over 100 yards basically at the half,
00:21and then comes down with a concussion, and George Pickens was like,
00:23I'm not playing anymore.
00:24What did you see last night?
00:25Also tell me, the future of the Detroit Lions and the future of the Dallas Cowboys.
00:30You know, for the Cowboys, you know, I went on with Scott and Gabe last night,
00:33and, you know, Scott made a good point.
00:35Like, the Cowboys didn't get embarrassed.
00:37Like, they lost, but, you know, the game could have turned out 35-10.
00:40Like, that's how it was looking at a certain point.
00:42Like, they were going to get absolutely boat raced.
00:44Like, they can at least hang their hat on, like, they played well enough.
00:46Like, the defense is still an issue.
00:48If they want to change anything, the offense is fine.
00:51Like, if you can have a fourth-string receiver with Ryan Flannoy go out there
00:55and drop 100 yards, if you fix the defense,
00:58you don't just need to be a top-five defense, but at least be league average,
01:01that could be a playoff team every year knowing that the offense they have.
01:04The future is obviously brighter when it comes to Detroit.
01:06I just expect them to do things better from a team perspective.
01:09But Dallas' future isn't bad.
01:11They just need to make the right changes, and Jerry has to be committed to it.
01:14Well, it just, you know, they're not good enough where, you know,
01:19certain aspects of their team take nights off.
01:23Like, you can't give Detroit, you know, every possession started at the 50-yard line.
01:30I mean, they had, what, almost 200 yards in returns yesterday?
01:34So, you're not, that's not who you are, Kevin.
01:36Like, every facet, all three facets have to be working.
01:40Otherwise, you're going to have a lot more results like this last night.
01:44Absolutely.
01:44Like, again, everything else but the offense.
01:47And listen, the offense isn't perfect, but at least they put up yards and they can score.
01:51And there's not many offenses around the league where, you know,
01:54Dak's going to end the league in, what, top five in yards and touchdowns?
01:58So, at a certain point, it's like, if you can at least stabilize that
02:02and then fix the other things, then you can have at least some regression in the offense,
02:07and it would still be pretty darn good even if they regress a little bit.
02:11Yeah, tough part here with the Dallas Cowboys, too,
02:13is the only chance is to chase down the Philadelphia Eagles.
02:15They're not getting a wild card.
02:16There's so many teams out there with many more victories here.
02:18They're going to have to jump over.
02:19That's tough sailing there for the Dallas Cowboys.
