The 'This Is Us' best actor winner Sterling K. Brown was cut off midway through his memorable remarks during the Emmy telecast, but NBC took out a full-page ad in Wednesday's issue of THR so he could complete his thoughts.

00:17midway through Sunday evening. Brown, who won for best lead actor in a drama series for the
00:22heart-wrenching NBC hit, was played off the stage before he was able to thank the writers
00:26on the show, series creator Dan Fogelman, whom he calls the Hebrew hammer with which
00:30our house is built, in his full speech, crazy cool executive producer and director
00:34Ken Olin and his manager of 17 years, Jennifer Wiley Stockton. In his full speech,
00:39Brown gives fans of This Is Us no respite from their tears as he thanks his two sons, writing,
00:44your daddy loves you with the strength of a thousand sons. Brown also makes light of his brief time on stage
00:49in his written speech, writing, they cut me off before I got to thank my wife, man.
00:53On stage at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday, Brown tried his best to fight through the music,
00:58but with no luck, commenting to the crowd,
01:00I didn't get that loud, nobody got that loud music.
01:02Brown, an Emmy winner last year for his portrayal of Christopher Darden in The People vs. O.J. Simpson,
01:07was also given the chance to finish his speech backstage at the Emmys in the press room.
