00:00:37Wilfred Nonsi has been appointed new Celtic Manager.
00:00:41He will officially begin his reign tomorrow, which means his first game in charge is the big one here on Sunday at Celtic Park against League Leaders Hearts.
00:00:49It's a game that you can see live outside the UK and Ireland here on Celtic TV.
00:00:55It's a game that you can see live outside the UK, and the game is a game that we are going to be looking at.
00:01:04It's a game that we are going to beлюд.
00:01:05It's a game that wins the future.
00:01:18And it's the game that will take us out of the UK.
00:01:23Yeah, make sure you join us.
00:01:52For that one, it is sure to be a cracker and we'll be catching up with new Celtic manager Wilfred Nonsi tomorrow.
00:02:00An exclusive interview with the new man coming your way when we finally meet.
00:02:04Looking forward to that one.
00:02:06Sirachi's injury, I think we can see it happening, if you want to call it that.
00:02:11It's another hamstring injury.
00:02:13Simon, I think I heard Derek McInnes recently talking about the number of hamstring injuries at Hearts as well.
00:02:18Celtic have got a few.
00:02:20Is it just the fact that they've happened more recently or do you feel that nowadays there are more hamstring injuries than there were back in the day?
00:02:28Listen, it's one of the most frustrating injuries I think that you can get because at times, I think obviously science has moved on from when I played.
00:02:37But at times, you can feel that you're fine to go back and then there can be a recurrence and a breakdown.
00:02:42I think that's potentially what's happened there with Sirachi.
00:02:45It's frustrating because the wee guy's played really well in Celtic, in his time at Celtic, and he's very athletic, a lot of running.
00:02:54Peter Grant's got a theory, he said at the weekend on commentary, that he feels that because young players nowadays don't get as much game time as they used to,
00:03:02that their hamstring is part of the body that just doesn't develop as much as it used to, so therefore they're susceptible.
00:03:08Just in general, professional footballers are susceptible to it.
00:03:11It used to be more relevant to the explosive type of players.
00:03:15Yeah.
00:03:16Except never bothered Peter.
00:03:17Or myself.
00:03:19He'd be the best to say that, by the way.
00:03:20Mike O'Brien used to suffer from a lot of it because he was so explosive.
00:03:23Yeah.
00:03:24But as I say, I think the sports science has moved on, so these guys are doing all this preventive stuff throughout the week,
00:03:32but that looks like a recurrence of...
00:03:34Yeah, because we saw he did pull up with a hamstring strain a few weeks back.
00:03:37It's a shame because, as I say, his form's been really good at Celtic, he's been a real good...
00:03:42I wouldn't even call him an understudy for Ciarán Tierney, but as Ciarán's trying to find his fitness
00:03:46and come up to speed with playing 90 minutes regular, this guy's fitted in really well,
00:03:51and I think the fans have worn to him, he's enthusiastic, a lot of energy, gets something down the pitch,
00:03:58so it's a bit of a blow.
00:03:59Yeah, it is.
00:03:59Just thinking about the players at half-time, will they be looking to come back out
00:04:02and really impose themselves in the first 15-20 minutes of this second half,
00:04:06put the game to bed and really give Martin the send-off that he deserves?
00:04:10I think so.
00:04:10Listen, there's not a lot wrong with the performance.
00:04:14It's breaking down.
00:04:15It's the most important thing, or the most difficult thing, rather, in football,
00:04:19to try and get the ball in the back of the net.
00:04:21They just have to tidy that little last bit up, be a wee bit more ruthless,
00:04:25take a wee bit more care, but they've got themselves into good positions.
00:04:28We might see this guy in the second half, he's somebody who's been getting into good positions.
00:04:33Well, I must admit, I'm rather surprised to see Dyson coming back out,
00:04:36but it takes a lot to keep the wee man down, so Dyson is back out with the team for the second 45.
00:04:41Let's go back to your commentators, Peter Grant and Gerry McDade.
00:04:44Yes, indeed.
00:04:46Thank you, Gerry.
00:04:47I'm still here with the pacey Peter Grant.
00:04:50He's managed to stay in position, although he wanted to rush away.
00:04:54Peter, I think you have a right to reply there, sir.
00:04:57That's all right.
00:04:58He was only telling the truth, you know.
00:05:00I wish I was quick as him going to the bar or something like that, you know.
00:05:03That's for sure.
00:05:03The bar, surely not.
00:05:08The Celts will be getting us underway in the second half, no changes by the side,
00:05:12apart from that enforcement for the Celts.
00:05:14Sirachi having to go off, and the more unable, Kieran Tierney, coming on.
00:05:21Arne Engels with the ball.
00:05:24The final 45 minutes of the Martin O'Neill era.
00:05:28We are about to enter.
00:05:30Let's hope the Celts can go out with a bang tonight,
00:05:32leading by that ball to Nill, looking to advance up the table.
00:05:42What do you think, Peter?
00:05:42Maybe 60 minutes of a change?
00:05:44What's your thoughts?
00:05:45Well, that's where usually managers are at now.
00:05:47It depends how Dyson is feeling.
00:05:49As long as he's not feeling dizzy or anything like that,
00:05:51that's why Martin's left him on the pitch.
00:05:53I think it would have been 2-0.
00:05:54I think he'd have maybe made that substitution.
00:05:56He's wanted to keep him on there just now.
00:05:58Listen, you know the likes of Negrin can go on there and play.
00:06:00Johnny Kenny can go on and get a goal.
00:06:02But Martin's not one for changing too quickly,
00:06:05if he feels the team's doing OK.
00:06:07And I think Dyson made it the way he plays.
00:06:10We want to keep him on just now.
00:06:12To Hatate.
00:06:13Not towards the edge of the box.
00:06:15Engels gets it out from beneath his feet.
00:06:16Plays it out to McGregor.
00:06:18Switches it to Donovan.
00:06:19Central position into McCown.
00:06:21Tries to play it across.
00:06:22Knocked inside.
00:06:23Maida chases this one down.
00:06:24Feint appeals for offside.
00:06:25Donovan gets it across.
00:06:26Austin is indeed offside on the Japanese talisman.
00:06:30Yeah, I think it's a great decision.
00:06:32My big, obviously it's like everything else.
00:06:33I just think it goes on too long there.
00:06:35I think if something's as blatant as that,
00:06:37because I always feel there's a danger to someone to get an injury,
00:06:40especially a goalkeeper and a forward.
00:06:42If the ball comes back in,
00:06:43then all of a sudden the flag is up.
00:06:45You're thinking,
00:06:45well, we could have stopped at a couple of passes back.
00:06:49Yeah, it does seem to be one of the more bizarre rules in football these days.
00:06:55Yeah, and listen, it's not the Langeman's fault.
00:06:57You know, that's a rule.
00:06:58You play, you know, for a couple of fees,
00:07:01and then obviously you put the flag up.
00:07:03I'm just concerned about that.
00:07:04It takes a bad injury, as I said.
00:07:05Yep.
00:07:08Celts building from the back once again.
00:07:10Trusted to Scales.
00:07:11Scales advances once again,
00:07:14but he's going to check back there.
00:07:16He drops it off to the halfway line.
00:07:17Maida chips it back to Austin Trusty immediately.
00:07:20Simon Murray goes in to pressurise the American,
00:07:23but he clears his lines and drops it inside to Engels.
00:07:25Back to Trusty.
00:07:26This will go back to Schmeichel.
00:07:29A bit more press from Dundee just in these early minutes.
00:07:31Yes, I just think it started out here,
00:07:33because I don't think Liam Scales needed to get back inside.
00:07:36Liam Scales should have just gave it straight out to Kieran Tierney.
00:07:38We had two boys out here,
00:07:39with Yang and Kieran Tierney out here,
00:07:41and they ran out and then passed it back in to Trusty.
00:07:44But Dundee were already out of the game.
00:07:46And I know Callum wants the ball all the time,
00:07:48but listen, simplicity is genius,
00:07:50and I just think there was a big space here
00:07:52with two players standing in front of him.
00:07:56Yep, it's a prescient point.
00:07:58Donovan stabs it to McCown,
00:08:00back inside to Engels,
00:08:01checks away from the challenge.
00:08:02Two D-men at the top of Arne Engels,
00:08:05they come away with the ball.
00:08:07Once again, they knock it back.
00:08:09As Asley plays it across.
00:08:11Graham now, back to McCracken.
00:08:14Celtic still pressing forward with Dyson Maeda.
00:08:16Real attack on that right-hand side.
00:08:20Up towards the half-wheel line,
00:08:21Samuels knocks it back inside.
00:08:22Non-committal, though.
00:08:24It's picked up.
00:08:26Knocked back, Asley.
00:08:27Across his defensive line.
00:08:29Graham has to check away.
00:08:30Pleas up towards the half-wheel line.
00:08:32Taken down nicely on the chest for Donovan.
00:08:35He squares it back to Trusty.
00:08:36Trusty now looking to advance forward.
00:08:39Looking for a hooked jersey.
00:08:41Engels is out there on the right-hand side.
00:08:43Back inside to Donovan once again.
00:08:46Trusty asks for it.
00:08:48Gets it.
00:08:49Knocks it off to Skeels.
00:08:50Skeels looks to fire it inside.
00:08:53Yang wants it.
00:08:54Picks it up.
00:08:55Drives away.
00:08:56Gives it to McGregor.
00:08:57Trusty now picks it up inside the centre circle.
00:08:59Chance to play it across.
00:09:01Donovan now on that far side.
00:09:04Inside to McCown.
00:09:06Nice footwork from McCown.
00:09:09Back to Donovan once again.
00:09:10He knocks it back inside the Celtic half.
00:09:13Kasper Schmeichel letting the Celtics players know
00:09:16that it's just to keep it calm.
00:09:18Take your time.
00:09:19Look for the opening.
00:09:19Look for the pass.
00:09:20Scales plays it back through the Dean.
00:09:28Out to Trusty.
00:09:30Plenty of time.
00:09:31Plenty of movement.
00:09:34Nice pick-up from McCown.
00:09:36Cuts inside once again.
00:09:38Drops it across the carpet to Engels.
00:09:40Hitati knocks a wonderful ball inside to McCown.
00:09:42He's on his left foot.
00:09:43Fires a shot.
00:09:44Maeda comes in on the rebound.
00:09:45Out it goes for the goal kick.
00:09:47Superb play and almost a second goal for the Hoops.
00:09:50No, it was a very good play.
00:09:51As I say, it all started with Trusty's.
00:09:53I talked about getting the ball wide quickly.
00:09:55Gets it wide out to Luke McCown.
00:09:56Gets it out there.
00:09:57Luke comes inside.
00:09:58Steps in the arm of the Engels.
00:09:59And yet again, Hitati sees the movement.
00:10:02And very unlucky.
00:10:03Listen, it's good.
00:10:05Defending my ass, to be fair.
00:10:06He's never given it up there.
00:10:08And I know you made the joke about that in the first half.
00:10:10But that's exactly what it did.
00:10:11All good defenders should do.
00:10:13And it put me under a lot of pressure.
00:10:15I have to say it again, Peter, it's a recurring theme tonight.
00:10:19Hitati pulling the strings, knocking these passes into vision and area that you can see.
00:10:24Well, anybody can play off their first touch, you know, the way he can.
00:10:28That's the pictures you see.
00:10:30And he can do it very well.
00:10:31He does it most of the time.
00:10:32And he looks a much better player when he does it that way.
00:10:36As I said, he's had the freedom of Celtic Park for most of this evening.
00:10:39And now Donovan advances forward, drops it into his captain.
00:10:43McGregor playing deep.
00:10:45He brings it down to Tierney.
00:10:47Tierney now plays a nice ball down inside.
00:10:50Picked up by Yang.
00:10:52Knocks it back to Hitati.
00:10:53Inside to Yang once again.
00:10:55He gives it inside to Tierney.
00:10:57Tierney tried.
00:10:58The back heel flick.
00:10:59He retains possession and gets it across the box.
00:11:01And it's knocked out by the head.
00:11:02But Hitati looking for the spectacular.
00:11:05Breaks to Trusty.
00:11:06Trusty now, the crowd urging him to take a shot.
00:11:08But he knocks it off to McCown.
00:11:10He gives it to McGregor.
00:11:11McGregor now in space.
00:11:12There is a chance for a shot.
00:11:13Which the captain takes left.
00:11:15We've seen him score some rockets in recent times.
00:11:18And even in last season.
00:11:19But that went high, wide and handsome, Peter.
00:11:21Yeah, but listen, at the end of the day,
00:11:22he's been trying to get himself in that position.
00:11:24And to be fair, he takes it well here.
00:11:26Ball's been fired across.
00:11:27He's just trying to get it on target.
00:11:29He just leans back a little bit.
00:11:31And misses the target, obviously.
00:11:33But it's the first touch.
00:11:36Look at that pass there from Hitati.
00:11:37McCracken's got lucky, actually,
00:11:40because he's pushed it back into play
00:11:42where you're supposed to push it away from goal.
00:11:46Trusty wins the header,
00:11:47but Hamilton knocks it back into the mix.
00:11:49Murray picks it up, tries to chip it over the top.
00:11:51Cowden volleys it.
00:11:53Out Yang.
00:11:53Gets the head down onto it,
00:11:55knocks it back to Kasper Schmeichel.
00:12:00So I think we'll build once again.
00:12:02Rolled out to Trusty.
00:12:03Two, McGregor.
00:12:10Stabbed back to Trusty.
00:12:12Heading up towards the halfway line.
00:12:15Now it's inside the Dundee half.
00:12:16Donovan has it, though.
00:12:17Has to go back once again.
00:12:22I think they've slightly changed it a little bit.
00:12:24They've put Wesley closer to Callum,
00:12:25made that near enough a man marking job.
00:12:27It's like a 4-4-1 now.
00:12:29Two, Tierney comes inside.
00:12:35Drops it off to Yang.
00:12:36Axis slacken, though.
00:12:38However, Dundee forced to go back the way.
00:12:40Engels goes in for the challenge.
00:12:41Hamilton comes away with it.
00:12:42McGregor tries to keep up with the Dundee midfielder.
00:12:46He's played out to Danda.
00:12:47He skips away with a wonderful challenge from Yang.
00:12:50We don't even know if they take up the play.
00:12:52Engels in glorious isolation in the middle of the park.
00:12:55Rolls it to Yang.
00:12:55Yang has to be careful.
00:12:56He's got the man on.
00:12:57You can hear the crowd roaring at him to play the ball.
00:12:59He slips.
00:13:00Does well to get up the career in, though.
00:13:03It's interesting you see he slips.
00:13:04There's a lot of water to put on the pitch,
00:13:06which is very unusual when you're talking about December time in Scotland.
00:13:10It is indeed, yeah.
00:13:11You noticed that at half-time, didn't you?
00:13:12Is that superb pass inside?
00:13:14Atatty plays that cross.
00:13:15Out it goes.
00:13:16Just skipped all that was going in.
00:13:18I think the defender did as well.
00:13:20Out it goes.
00:13:20And Celtic have their fourth corner of the match.
00:13:23It's been perpetual motion in that respect.
00:13:25He didn't make any runs from deep.
00:13:27Running off the ball.
00:13:28He's well onside.
00:13:30It would have been good if it had known goal,
00:13:32because if it had went to Maeda,
00:13:35I'm sure he was in an offside position.
00:13:39Engels takes it.
00:13:40McGregor.
00:13:41Chance to chip it across the box.
00:13:44Slyce.
00:13:44Cleans McCracken.
00:13:45Glad to see that one come into his hands,
00:13:48but I think no more glad than Astley was.
00:13:50I think Astley was quite happy with it,
00:13:52you know what I mean?
00:13:53I think he's saying to himself,
00:13:55I tried it.
00:14:02Samuels tries to play the long ball.
00:14:04Timmy takes it down on his chest,
00:14:06looks around him,
00:14:07makes sure there's no D&D players in attendance.
00:14:10Lays it off to trusty.
00:14:12Just want to reiterate that superb tackle
00:14:14from Colby Donovan earlier as well,
00:14:15and the build-up to that attack.
00:14:17Listen, I always think for young players,
00:14:20people say,
00:14:20oh, he's good on the ball,
00:14:21he gets forward and whatever,
00:14:23but I think the most important thing is
00:14:24that you can still defend.
00:14:25It's so, so important you're a good defender,
00:14:27especially in that position.
00:14:34I can tell you that Hearts have taken the lead
00:14:36at Tynecastle.
00:14:37It's 1-0 against Kilmarnock.
00:14:40Yang drops it inside once again.
00:14:42Wright knocks it clear.
00:14:44Scales will take that one down,
00:14:46nice left foot touch.
00:14:48Cushions the ball,
00:14:49looks to lay it off,
00:14:50gives it to Tierney,
00:14:51Tierney stabs it forward.
00:14:53Yang now stepping inside,
00:14:54gives it to Engels,
00:14:55Engels drops it into Atati,
00:14:56he does the 360,
00:14:57turns around,
00:14:58gives it to Yang,
00:14:59Yang tries to clip it across,
00:15:01just a wee bit over-elaborate here, Peter.
00:15:03Yeah, I think that's the one,
00:15:05he's played it all first time,
00:15:06Atati,
00:15:06but I think he could,
00:15:07of course Dundee had read it,
00:15:09he's got the ability to say,
00:15:10well, I can turn myself here,
00:15:11because everybody else thought
00:15:12the ball was going to go to Yang,
00:15:13but he's got the ability
00:15:14to turn on that sixpence
00:15:16and get a shot away himself,
00:15:17he didn't need to use Yang,
00:15:18I didn't think there.
00:15:23Tied down to Congreve,
00:15:25back it goes once again,
00:15:27self-tressing,
00:15:29he can Dundee play the ball back.
00:15:31Launched high once again,
00:15:37Kearney's underneath it,
00:15:38that has overcome Ceeve's head,
00:15:40and you can see how quickly
00:15:41Kearney wants to get the ball
00:15:42back into action.
00:15:47Mr Nicholson wants him to go back,
00:15:50to where the ball was originally played out,
00:15:53he might be making a change shortly,
00:15:55I'll let you know about that one.
00:15:56Tattie rocks a ball all the way back
00:16:01to Schmeichel.
00:16:04Short pass to Engels,
00:16:06facing his own goal,
00:16:07has to play it back to Trusty,
00:16:08Trusty will play out,
00:16:09Scales,
00:16:09two men in attendance,
00:16:11Scales does well to skip away,
00:16:12now he gets it off to McGregor,
00:16:14feeds Engels.
00:16:16Engels thought about the pass out to the right,
00:16:17drops it back into his captain,
00:16:19now it's with Scales,
00:16:20Tierney sets off on the run,
00:16:23Engels is in space to pick up the pass,
00:16:24but it was down this left-hand side to Jan,
00:16:27he cuts inside,
00:16:28tries to clear inside,
00:16:29but it's a weak one.
00:16:31Once again,
00:16:32Dindy's struggling to clear their lines here,
00:16:33like that.
00:16:38I think you've got to give the Celtic boys credit here,
00:16:41because they're trying to put pressure on the ball,
00:16:42so Dundee are never comfortable in possession,
00:16:45but I think sometimes Jan gave it away cheaply,
00:16:47and I think he's got to be more positive,
00:16:49he's trying to make the pass,
00:16:50but I think he's got to be more direct,
00:16:51and he's got space in front of him,
00:16:53so go and take it off,
00:16:54because then somebody's got to commit their self and come to you,
00:16:56then it opens the pass for you.
00:17:01He's having to come a little bit deeper now,
00:17:03as he headed up towards the halfway line,
00:17:05slack one,
00:17:05Tierney lobs it off into the middle of the park,
00:17:08Engels goes up for the header,
00:17:09McCown knocks it back to Donovan,
00:17:12McCown wants it back,
00:17:13but McGregor now picks it up on the halfway line,
00:17:15gives it to Donovan,
00:17:16Donovan back to Trusty.
00:17:17Atate inside the centre circle,
00:17:21lays it off,
00:17:21that's a nice pass,
00:17:22Donovan picks it up,
00:17:23he's in a central position,
00:17:25skips past the defender,
00:17:27but just shows a little bit too much of the ball to the defender,
00:17:29I can tell you there's a bit of a stromash going on down at the halfway line,
00:17:32did you catch any of that, Peter?
00:17:34Yeah, well, I was wondering,
00:17:35because Atate was looking at,
00:17:36it was a bad tackle to start with,
00:17:39I thought it was a poor tackle,
00:17:40and every allowed play to go on,
00:17:42which I think was the right decision.
00:17:45Celtic, sorry, I beg your pardon,
00:17:46Peter Celtic looking to make the change here,
00:17:49Yang is being sacrificed,
00:17:53and he's replaced by Celtic's number 23,
00:17:56Sebastian Tenekty.
00:17:57It's Sebastian Tenekty,
00:17:59like for like swap there, Peter, I would suggest.
00:18:01Yes, and I think maybe it was that last action,
00:18:04as I spoke about there,
00:18:05when he's passed the ball,
00:18:06maybe Martin's thinking he's flagging a little bit,
00:18:07because he's not played a lot of games,
00:18:08and he spoke about that prior to the match,
00:18:10some of the guys have not been playing a lot of minutes,
00:18:12and he was very direct.
00:18:14Tenekty, now it's offered an opportunity for him to go and
00:18:16show the fullback, give him a problem,
00:18:19because he can go on the outside,
00:18:20he can go on the inside,
00:18:21but it has to be positive.
00:18:23Triple change for Dundee.
00:18:27Coming on, Jones Hay,
00:18:29and Kometio.
00:18:30And number 28 is Callum Jones.
00:18:41So, it was Steven Presley that blinked before the 60th minute mark,
00:18:45he's got a raft of substitutes.
00:18:48I think he's went to a back three,
00:18:49he's put another centre back on there,
00:18:51went to a back three now.
00:18:53He's trying to get Dan down.
00:18:55McCown plays it to McGregor.
00:19:00And it looks as if he's going to play Wesley's highest.
00:19:05McGregor picks up the slack pass,
00:19:07Maida knows he's offside,
00:19:09but it drops to McCown,
00:19:09he tries to come back inside.
00:19:11Celtic captain picks it up once again,
00:19:14slides it over to Scales,
00:19:15Scales almost lost out on the first touch,
00:19:17now Tierney,
00:19:18bit of space,
00:19:19tries to lob it into the middle,
00:19:20Maida's looking for it,
00:19:22it's cleared high up into the air once again.
00:19:27Yep, that ball come off behind the Donovan,
00:19:29totally accidental of course,
00:19:30but in the letter of the law, Peter,
00:19:32that is a free kick.
00:19:33Yes, it does,
00:19:33just bounce up there at the tomb,
00:19:35sort of leave it to each other.
00:19:38I suppose we were looking for the free kick ourselves,
00:19:40so no complaints.
00:19:42Yeah, but the question is,
00:19:43would we have got it?
00:19:49Now Ashley picks up that square ball.
00:19:52Scales underneath it,
00:19:53bollies it out,
00:19:54and then they put it out.
00:20:01Yeah, the game's about patchy just now,
00:20:03one team's having it,
00:20:04giving it away,
00:20:05getting it in good positions,
00:20:06maybe two passing,
00:20:07giving it away again.
00:20:10The team's working really hard,
00:20:12you know,
00:20:12and trying to put pressure on,
00:20:14but it's then what you do,
00:20:15and you get it back.
00:20:16Yeah.
00:20:16But that's the best way to do it,
00:20:18if there's a space,
00:20:19a penis,
00:20:20sorry when you're going through,
00:20:21and you're not playing particularly well,
00:20:22make sure the opposition don't play well.
00:20:24Yeah, certainly,
00:20:25plenty of pressure on the substitute,
00:20:28Cometio there,
00:20:30he takes the throw in,
00:20:31that's all the way down into the Celtic half,
00:20:35Scales all the way back to Schmeichel,
00:20:37standing outside this box.
00:20:39The small thing there,
00:20:40do you see where the ball ended up?
00:20:42You know,
00:20:43up in Celtic's final third,
00:20:45Cometio's come on,
00:20:46and just went,
00:20:46right,
00:20:47I'm going to turn you around.
00:20:48Yeah.
00:20:48Which is what you were saying
00:20:50they should be doing in the first half,
00:20:51yeah?
00:20:51Yeah,
00:20:51I don't understand that,
00:20:52because I can't play against Celtic out the back,
00:20:54because they're too good,
00:20:56and at the end of the day,
00:20:57they're going to press you,
00:20:58and get the ball off you.
00:20:59That's,
00:21:00they're obviously strength.
00:21:03Well,
00:21:03an hour played,
00:21:04Celtic's still leading,
00:21:05but that dies on Mayida goal,
00:21:06in the 11th minute,
00:21:07as Tierney comes in off the line,
00:21:09angles,
00:21:09plenty of space inside,
00:21:11stabs it out though,
00:21:13everyone picks it up now,
00:21:15plays it inside,
00:21:16angles,
00:21:16a little bit of space,
00:21:17nice back heel into the path of Otati,
00:21:18he takes it in his left foot,
00:21:20super save by the goalkeeper,
00:21:21wonderful play by Celtic,
00:21:23and yet another offside decision.
00:21:25Yeah,
00:21:25it was,
00:21:26and there's two players
00:21:27who would like to have a strike
00:21:28at the edge of the box,
00:21:29it's Arne Engels,
00:21:30and Rio Otati,
00:21:31and it's a very good play,
00:21:32a great pick out with Kieran,
00:21:34and I'm thinking,
00:21:34Arne Engels is going to strike forward
00:21:35and have a strike,
00:21:36he doesn't do that,
00:21:37and then he picks it up again,
00:21:39and you're thinking,
00:21:40you see,
00:21:40brilliant,
00:21:41bit of vision.
00:21:42Otati shows a bit of magic,
00:21:44rolling the ball,
00:21:44but unfortunately,
00:21:45Arne Engels has went offside.
00:21:47once upon a time,
00:21:51you'd have been asking
00:21:51if he was interfering with play.
00:21:53Yeah, absolutely.
00:21:54I think the only thing
00:21:55they're saying is
00:21:56is that the ball comes back
00:21:57off the goalkeeper,
00:21:58as it did.
00:21:59Mm-hmm.
00:22:07Graham all the way back
00:22:08to McCracken.
00:22:09he fires a high one,
00:22:15well out,
00:22:16that's a loose one,
00:22:18but,
00:22:19it's going to take the year
00:22:20to have the game underway
00:22:21once again,
00:22:22and back goes to Trusty.
00:22:26Scales now.
00:22:29Tierney on the halfway line.
00:22:30The Scotland full-back
00:22:33comes across
00:22:34inside the Dundee half.
00:22:37Gregor wants the ball
00:22:38played forward,
00:22:39Trusty now picks it up
00:22:39just inside
00:22:40the Dundee half,
00:22:42Donovan.
00:22:44Back to Trusty.
00:22:46Plenty of movement
00:22:47from the men in green and white.
00:22:49No forward penetration
00:22:50at this point,
00:22:51as Tierney now advances,
00:22:52drops it inside to Otati.
00:22:55Head off to Scales,
00:22:56first-time pass out
00:22:57to Trusty,
00:22:58Trusty down to Donovan.
00:23:02Tries to go himself,
00:23:03he comes back to McCracken
00:23:05and now Engles
00:23:05plays it right-footed across,
00:23:07that will break
00:23:07just outside the box.
00:23:08Ciarán Tierney,
00:23:09he scored an absolute pitch
00:23:10before,
00:23:12but he's just laying it off
00:23:13this time
00:23:13to Tinecti,
00:23:14he gets his first real chance
00:23:15to impress,
00:23:16knocks it back to Tierney
00:23:17on the apex of the box,
00:23:19clipped across
00:23:20and put it wide and clear
00:23:22of the Tierney,
00:23:23tried that first-time pass,
00:23:24Tinecti might connect
00:23:25but that does well
00:23:26to pick it up the Tunisian,
00:23:27rocks onto his right foot
00:23:29towards the edge of the box,
00:23:31tries to fire a shot,
00:23:32you can see exactly
00:23:33what he was trying to do there,
00:23:34one thought in his mind,
00:23:35let's cut inside,
00:23:36let's get a shot
00:23:37and that one just flies past.
00:23:38Celtic supporters
00:23:39don't mind that
00:23:39with their wide players,
00:23:41they'd rather that
00:23:42than keep passing it away back
00:23:43or give it to somebody else
00:23:44at a responsibility.
00:23:45Your job is to go
00:23:46and take people on,
00:23:47get shots in target
00:23:48or get crosses in the box.
00:23:50Tinecti, okay,
00:23:51he's got the quality,
00:23:52they expect him to start
00:23:53to hit the target from there.
00:23:55It's a very good save
00:23:57for McCracken actually.
00:23:58He picks it up,
00:24:08tries to play it down,
00:24:09Donovan gets the head on out,
00:24:11Tinecti comes across the half,
00:24:13really,
00:24:13does well to escape the challenge
00:24:14and he advances forward,
00:24:15he can see Tinecti in this left-hand side
00:24:17and he does,
00:24:18Tinecti picks it up,
00:24:19Tinecti drops in short,
00:24:21let's take a back of the way,
00:24:23plays it to scale,
00:24:24scales will probably look
00:24:25to play out to Trusty,
00:24:26which he does inside
00:24:27the centre circle,
00:24:27the American advances,
00:24:30comes away from the challenge,
00:24:31lays it off to Donovan,
00:24:32he cuts inside,
00:24:33back to Trusty,
00:24:34Celtic,
00:24:34a little bit more urgency,
00:24:35a wee bit more eager
00:24:36about the play here
00:24:37as Donovan tries
00:24:38to flash it across the box.
00:24:41Headed clear,
00:24:43by Hatati actually,
00:24:45now they don't pick it up.
00:24:49High press from the Celts.
00:24:50Nice take by Robertson,
00:24:57now there's a chance to advance
00:24:59down that left-hand side,
00:25:02nicely fouled,
00:25:05Dundee have a free kick,
00:25:06we talked about this
00:25:06in the first half,
00:25:07Peter,
00:25:07you're not going to get many chances,
00:25:08this is the sort of thing
00:25:09that you have to take.
00:25:10Yeah,
00:25:11absolutely,
00:25:12listen,
00:25:12they've played a little bit better
00:25:13with Dundee with the ball,
00:25:14I think the change of shape
00:25:15suited them a little bit,
00:25:16you know,
00:25:17allows them to get closer
00:25:17to Celtic's wide players,
00:25:18but also allows them to attack
00:25:20quicker by extra midfield players,
00:25:21and they've got two up the top
00:25:22at the end of the field now,
00:25:24but this will be the thing
00:25:25that Stephen all have worked on,
00:25:26that, as I say,
00:25:27getting opportunities
00:25:28at a big side.
00:25:31Once again,
00:25:33defence,
00:25:34everybody's strung out along
00:25:35the D just outside the box,
00:25:37this one to be floated in,
00:25:38left-footed,
00:25:39up it goes,
00:25:40there's plenty of movement
00:25:41inside that box,
00:25:41Graham's underneath it,
00:25:42but it drops over his head
00:25:43and it's chest down,
00:25:45Bengalson lets it go out
00:25:46for the throwing,
00:25:48and at the end of the day
00:25:48that comes to nothing,
00:25:49I just don't understand
00:25:51that, you know,
00:25:51why you try and hit
00:25:52away the back area
00:25:53instead of just putting
00:25:55in an area that Celtic
00:25:56have to defend.
00:26:04I can tell you
00:26:05that Dundee United
00:26:05have retaken the lead
00:26:06at Tandardyce,
00:26:07it's new 2-1 up there,
00:26:08it remains
00:26:09Hearts 1,
00:26:10Kilmarnock 0,
00:26:11and St Myrn 1-0
00:26:12up at Pataudry.
00:26:14Celtic 1-0 up here
00:26:15in Paradise,
00:26:16by 65 minutes played.
00:26:21Scrappy would indeed
00:26:22bring it clear,
00:26:23Hamilton now,
00:26:24chance to advance forward,
00:26:26plays it out on that
00:26:27far side,
00:26:28cut that by Sanyas,
00:26:29he drops it inside
00:26:30to Kometi.
00:26:31Chipped over the top,
00:26:36that's one to be chased down,
00:26:38poor first touch,
00:26:40but once again
00:26:41Ashley coming in there
00:26:42and the danger there
00:26:43for all to see.
00:26:44That'll be the
00:26:45disappointing thing,
00:26:46you know,
00:26:46it's just one pass,
00:26:49and if there's a better
00:26:50touch,
00:26:50he's in and goal,
00:26:51and the linesman's not
00:26:52gave offside.
00:26:53Cloud urging Celtic
00:26:57forward.
00:27:01Intent to play
00:27:01the patient game,
00:27:02no,
00:27:03Trusty once again
00:27:04to Scales,
00:27:06Tierney wants it
00:27:06on the left,
00:27:08that's the safer option,
00:27:10Tierney has to
00:27:10come back to Scales,
00:27:12indeed pressing high now,
00:27:13Hay on Scales,
00:27:14gets it off to
00:27:15Trusty,
00:27:16Donovan,
00:27:17plenty of space
00:27:17down that right-hand side,
00:27:21comes back inside,
00:27:22looks to escape
00:27:25the attendance
00:27:25of the Dundee player
00:27:26and the way it comes
00:27:27of McCown,
00:27:28but he's got to head
00:27:28back up to his
00:27:29halfway line,
00:27:29so I think he'll have
00:27:30to start the move
00:27:30all over again.
00:27:32Yeah,
00:27:32I just don't think
00:27:32Covey Donovan
00:27:33needs to complicate it
00:27:34there,
00:27:34for me,
00:27:35he's received the
00:27:36possession,
00:27:36run with it,
00:27:37then give it to
00:27:38Luke McCown
00:27:38as quickly as you
00:27:39possible,
00:27:39now he should just
00:27:40go straight out to him
00:27:41and get the cross
00:27:42in the box,
00:27:42as simple as that.
00:27:44Which is what
00:27:44they've done,
00:27:45Donovan flashes
00:27:45that cross,
00:27:46and Ektev frantically
00:27:47chases it down,
00:27:48does well,
00:27:48keep it in,
00:27:49gets it to Tierney,
00:27:50Celtic keep the move
00:27:50alive,
00:27:51Atati now,
00:27:51a little bit of space,
00:27:53plays it down to
00:27:54Tenecti,
00:27:55Tenecti looking to
00:27:56take on the defender,
00:27:57cuts into his right
00:27:57foot,
00:27:58cuts onto his left,
00:27:59super challenge
00:28:00from Halifant,
00:28:01that ball is over
00:28:02the top,
00:28:03chased by Hay,
00:28:03he's in onside here,
00:28:05this could be dangerous,
00:28:06actually here advancing
00:28:07inside,
00:28:07the box fires a shot,
00:28:08nice right-footed
00:28:09save from Kasko-Schmeigel,
00:28:10but that's the second
00:28:11time in about two minutes,
00:28:12that ball over the top
00:28:13has almost caused
00:28:14a problem.
00:28:15And he's very lucky,
00:28:16Scales,
00:28:17because if he's onside,
00:28:18he clutches his heels
00:28:19here,
00:28:20and if the boy goes down
00:28:22it could have been
00:28:22a red card,
00:28:23he's very,
00:28:23very fortunate,
00:28:24and Kasko-Schmeigel
00:28:25yet again
00:28:25has to make a save.
00:28:28Good stop
00:28:29by the Dane,
00:28:31however,
00:28:32Dundee now
00:28:32with the throw-in,
00:28:35down close
00:28:35to the corner flag,
00:28:37and a set-piece
00:28:39opportunity if you like,
00:28:40get the ball
00:28:41into the box,
00:28:42and as you see,
00:28:42Peter Plenty
00:28:43and big guys in there,
00:28:45sends up to the near
00:28:46Tierney,
00:28:47gets the head on,
00:28:47Paddy tries to knock
00:28:48clear,
00:28:49and Maeda tries to come
00:28:51clear with it,
00:28:51he gets it,
00:28:52but he's on his own here,
00:28:53does brilliantly well,
00:28:54he's got Tenekti overlapping,
00:28:55he's got Cowan in the middle
00:28:57if you can see him,
00:28:58but that is a superb tackle
00:29:00by Eden Hamilton,
00:29:01you have to say,
00:29:02brings the move to a halt,
00:29:03and now it's the Dane's Park men
00:29:04coming forward.
00:29:08Callum Jones,
00:29:09tackle comes in,
00:29:10that was a real opportunity.
00:29:11listen,
00:29:13Dijon Maeda,
00:29:14never really under control
00:29:15of the ball,
00:29:15but once he gets it back here,
00:29:18he gets his first touch,
00:29:19he gets away,
00:29:19now he's got to pass it,
00:29:21just put it into the space,
00:29:22takes too many touches,
00:29:24allows Hamill to get back
00:29:25and get a fantastic tackle in,
00:29:27but he's got to roll it in front
00:29:28to Tenekti and let him
00:29:29be on the last line.
00:29:31Confirmation of those scores,
00:29:32as I said to you,
00:29:33it's a minimum 1-0
00:29:33at the Totodry,
00:29:34Dene United 2-1 up now
00:29:35against Rangers,
00:29:36Falkup,
00:29:36no mother-in-law,
00:29:37and Hearts have that
00:29:38one goal advantage
00:29:39over Marnock,
00:29:40as Celtic do have here
00:29:42at home as well.
00:29:43Schmeichel races out
00:29:44of his goal,
00:29:45he has to be careful,
00:29:46slices the right foot clearance,
00:29:48D try to bring it forward,
00:29:49and that is an ambitious,
00:29:52one would almost say,
00:29:53McLean-esque type attempt.
00:29:55Yes,
00:29:56this is a bit disappointed,
00:29:58this is what I'm saying
00:29:59about young Colby,
00:30:01not necessarily him,
00:30:02but I'm talking about
00:30:02in that position,
00:30:03for me he's got
00:30:0430-40 yards in front
00:30:06of him in space,
00:30:06you've just got to drive
00:30:07into that,
00:30:08because then you've got
00:30:09a 2v1 situation
00:30:10with yourself and
00:30:11Luke McCown,
00:30:11like no,
00:30:12he should just go out to him,
00:30:13and just,
00:30:14Arne Engle should stay inside,
00:30:15he doesn't need to go out there,
00:30:16look McCown's out there,
00:30:18and then you can move
00:30:19the ball quicker,
00:30:20instead he'd just be
00:30:21showing that,
00:30:22play your position,
00:30:23and you'll get more
00:30:24of the ball.
00:30:26Engles has it now,
00:30:27out to McGregor,
00:30:29back to Donovan,
00:30:30knocks it inside to McCown,
00:30:32McCown has Cometeo,
00:30:33poor company,
00:30:34but he cuts into his left foot,
00:30:36tries to clip it across,
00:30:37Atatis in there!
00:30:39Lovely floated ball
00:30:41inside the box,
00:30:42McCacken does well,
00:30:42and he tries to lob it
00:30:43quickly up to the back line,
00:30:45trustee's underneath it,
00:30:46cushions the header back,
00:30:47out it goes,
00:30:48for a throw-in.
00:30:49It's a great ball
00:30:50from Luke McCown,
00:30:51and Rio Atatis,
00:30:52you can see the disappointment
00:30:53with him,
00:30:53he feels as if he should
00:30:54get a touch,
00:30:55but it's a great run,
00:30:56and probably once it gets
00:30:57in, he should get a touch,
00:30:59but a great ball
00:30:59from Luke McCown.
00:31:05Cracken,
00:31:05that's a dangerous move,
00:31:06and Maeda,
00:31:07bars in,
00:31:08the referee's looking at it,
00:31:09he's going to get a free kick.
00:31:10Well, Peter,
00:31:15I think you don't have
00:31:16to enunciate your thoughts
00:31:17there, but...
00:31:20I'll tell you what,
00:31:22McCacken will be very lucky,
00:31:25because Dyson made it for me,
00:31:26he never done anything,
00:31:27and McCacken's made an error,
00:31:30and it's the last guy,
00:31:31big touch,
00:31:32woof!
00:31:34Yep,
00:31:35I would say that's the case.
00:31:40Well,
00:31:48you can hear that Celtic
00:31:49bark me a little bit.
00:31:51It's an interesting one,
00:31:52because he's had such a big touch,
00:31:55but then he puts his body
00:31:56across the front of the ball,
00:31:58coming in for the left-hand side.
00:32:01He's not actually trying
00:32:02to play the ball,
00:32:03he's actually trying
00:32:03to shield it.
00:32:06Dyson stabs it down the line,
00:32:08McCacken chases it,
00:32:09Matthew thought of it
00:32:09getting back to his goalkeeper,
00:32:10but Dyson made it
00:32:11as in close attention.
00:32:14He's going to try
00:32:15to get it clear,
00:32:16Tenetti goes in
00:32:17for the challenge,
00:32:18gets to right,
00:32:19he drops it back inside,
00:32:20it's a nice ball
00:32:21down the line
00:32:21for Hay to chase.
00:32:23He has scales for company,
00:32:25Tierney comes in,
00:32:26rescues the situation,
00:32:28scales now to his captain,
00:32:29back to McGregor,
00:32:32Tati now picks it up,
00:32:33crowd urging,
00:32:34Celtic forward once again.
00:32:37Second goal
00:32:37will be so important
00:32:38in this match, Peter.
00:32:39Yeah, you can sense it
00:32:40because they've a lot
00:32:41in the ball,
00:32:42the second half's been
00:32:43scrappy for sure,
00:32:44but I think they've
00:32:45overcomplicated it.
00:32:47As I said,
00:32:47especially when we're
00:32:48going to a five now,
00:32:49that means the three
00:32:50central midfield players
00:32:51have got to work so hard
00:32:52to get across the pitch,
00:32:53so we've got Kieran
00:32:54Antoinette in this side,
00:32:56and you've got Colby Donovan
00:32:58and Luke McCown
00:32:59on the opposite side,
00:33:00three,
00:33:01or you can get a
00:33:01two-v-one situation.
00:33:03Yep,
00:33:03a few basic errors
00:33:04coming in here,
00:33:05the scales chases that back,
00:33:06Schmeichel
00:33:07takes it comfortably,
00:33:09immediately releases it
00:33:10to Donovan.
00:33:11Acres of space now
00:33:12for the young self
00:33:12to motor up
00:33:13towards the halfway line.
00:33:16He plays it back
00:33:17to Trusted,
00:33:17a bit of inexperience,
00:33:20a bit of a naivety there
00:33:21maybe,
00:33:21Peter.
00:33:22Yeah,
00:33:22but to be fair,
00:33:23Kieran on this side
00:33:24has done the exact same
00:33:25side,
00:33:25and Liam Scales
00:33:26has done the exact same,
00:33:28I think they've just
00:33:28got to be more paused.
00:33:29Get it out there,
00:33:30and it's up to Luke McCown
00:33:31on that to deal
00:33:31with the pass
00:33:32and go and take someone
00:33:33on if they're the wide
00:33:34players,
00:33:34Tonecti on this side,
00:33:36give them it as early
00:33:36as you possibly can,
00:33:38and I'm sure the wide
00:33:39players would want it
00:33:40earlier.
00:33:42The target once again,
00:33:43plenty of space here,
00:33:45looks for the pass,
00:33:46lays it off to Tierney,
00:33:47Tonecti now,
00:33:48picks it in off the touchline,
00:33:50Tierney's inside him,
00:33:51but he wants to go back
00:33:52to McGregor,
00:33:53Celtic captain now
00:33:54looking to play it across,
00:33:55picked up by Donovan,
00:33:59looks for the option,
00:34:00that is Tierney,
00:34:01first time pass
00:34:02into the path
00:34:02of Tonecti,
00:34:03he has to check back,
00:34:05gives it to Tierney,
00:34:05Tierney has the chance
00:34:06to put the ball
00:34:07into the box,
00:34:07but he takes a touch,
00:34:08now he lays it off
00:34:09to the far side,
00:34:10trying to get his head
00:34:11on that far side,
00:34:12out it goes,
00:34:13Celtic have a throw in,
00:34:14but that a little better
00:34:15from the champions.
00:34:16Yeah,
00:34:17they just look a little bit
00:34:18anxious,
00:34:18and I don't know why,
00:34:20because they just move
00:34:22the ball quickly,
00:34:24and especially since,
00:34:25I'm not sure they've dealt
00:34:27with Dundee going
00:34:28to the back five,
00:34:29because they feel
00:34:29someone's getting marked
00:34:30if he's four or five
00:34:31yards away from him,
00:34:32if he's four or five
00:34:33inches away from him,
00:34:34still give it to your
00:34:34wide player,
00:34:35because he can buy
00:34:36a free kick,
00:34:37he can go and take
00:34:38someone on,
00:34:38or he can get
00:34:38a 2v1 situation,
00:34:40and I think that'll
00:34:41disappoint Martin,
00:34:42the fact that we've not
00:34:43made Dundee defend
00:34:45more in near final third,
00:34:46we're making it
00:34:47comfortable for them,
00:34:48and it should never be
00:34:49comfortable for anyone
00:34:50at Celtic Park.
00:34:50Yep,
00:34:51you can see Egani's
00:34:52come on,
00:34:53Paul Wesley,
00:34:55and McGregor has it,
00:34:56back to Trusty,
00:34:58has to go back to
00:34:58Scales,
00:35:00he's been marking him
00:35:01like glue since he
00:35:02came on to the park,
00:35:04and now Tierney
00:35:05switches the cross
00:35:06ball,
00:35:07it's a nice
00:35:07super first touch,
00:35:10Donovan wants it,
00:35:11McCown takes it
00:35:12on himself,
00:35:13now he plays it
00:35:13back to McGregor
00:35:14in the centre
00:35:14of the Dundee half,
00:35:15he plays it out
00:35:16to Tierney,
00:35:18to Tenecti,
00:35:19Tenecti,
00:35:20two men on him,
00:35:20he goes back to Tierney,
00:35:22tries to chip it inside,
00:35:23Hattie takes it
00:35:24down his chest
00:35:25inside the box,
00:35:26plays it off to
00:35:26Engles,
00:35:27Engles has forced
00:35:28to go back,
00:35:28now McGregor
00:35:29plays it out to
00:35:30Tierney,
00:35:30Celtic probing,
00:35:31looking for this
00:35:32opening as Trusty
00:35:33picks it up,
00:35:34drops it down to
00:35:35Donovan,
00:35:35he'll want to play
00:35:36it into the box,
00:35:36it's a high one,
00:35:37headed clear,
00:35:39only as fast,
00:35:40McCown,
00:35:40he tried the shot,
00:35:42wins yet another
00:35:43corner,
00:35:44good play from
00:35:45the Celts.
00:35:45Yeah,
00:35:46but it's not the
00:35:47greatest ball for
00:35:47Colby Donovan,
00:35:48and I'm not sure
00:35:49Nair does want to
00:35:52go for the header
00:35:53either,
00:35:54but you get a
00:35:55corner from it.
00:35:58McGregor now
00:35:59down to
00:36:00McCown,
00:36:02back to McGregor,
00:36:07he's on himself,
00:36:08looking for the pass,
00:36:09it's not on,
00:36:10so he leads it off
00:36:11to Hatati,
00:36:12halfway inside,
00:36:14the Dundee half,
00:36:14back it goes to
00:36:15McGregor,
00:36:16out on that
00:36:16right-hand side,
00:36:19McCown now,
00:36:20lays it off to
00:36:20Ingles,
00:36:21Ingles out to
00:36:22Tierney,
00:36:22plenty of space
00:36:23for Tierney to
00:36:24rock the ball
00:36:24forward,
00:36:25tries to play
00:36:25inside,
00:36:26it's cleared,
00:36:27he'll come all
00:36:27the way back to
00:36:28Casper Schmeichel,
00:36:29he's advanced
00:36:29almost up to
00:36:30the centre circle,
00:36:32he plays it off
00:36:32to Donovan,
00:36:33back to McGregor,
00:36:34on the halfway
00:36:35line,
00:36:35the Celtic captain
00:36:36looking for an
00:36:36option,
00:36:37lays it off to
00:36:37Hatati,
00:36:37he spins away
00:36:39with the ball
00:36:39at his feet,
00:36:40tries to clip one
00:36:41out to Tierney,
00:36:42nice touch from
00:36:43the Scottish
00:36:43defender,
00:36:44cuts inside,
00:36:46Hatati now,
00:36:47asks for the
00:36:47ball,
00:36:48receives it,
00:36:48tries to chip it
00:36:49over,
00:36:50it's almost
00:36:50cleared,
00:36:52and now Donovan
00:36:52picks it up,
00:36:55plays it down
00:36:55to McCown,
00:36:56to McGregor,
00:36:58leave it a space,
00:36:58McGregor clips the
00:36:59ball into the
00:37:00box,
00:37:00once again,
00:37:02all the pressure
00:37:03at this point
00:37:03as Tinecti
00:37:04picks it up,
00:37:04has to go back
00:37:06the way,
00:37:06now he lays it
00:37:07off to Tierney,
00:37:08Tinecti sets off
00:37:09on the overlap,
00:37:11Tierney plays it
00:37:12inside to Engels,
00:37:13Engels switches it
00:37:14out to Donovan,
00:37:15he's seen plenty
00:37:16of the ball in
00:37:16this second half,
00:37:17and now McCown
00:37:18picks it up,
00:37:19heads down
00:37:19towards the
00:37:20byline,
00:37:20challenge comes
00:37:21in,
00:37:22nothing wrong
00:37:22with that,
00:37:23referee and
00:37:24linesman quite
00:37:25happy with the
00:37:25challenge with
00:37:26Mari Samuels,
00:37:28he plays it
00:37:28inside,
00:37:29Dindina advancing
00:37:30up towards the
00:37:30halfway line,
00:37:31Midak's in for
00:37:33the tackle,
00:37:33referee waves play
00:37:34on,
00:37:36much to the
00:37:36disgust of
00:37:37Hamilton,
00:37:38and now
00:37:38Tierney,
00:37:39picks it out to
00:37:40Donovan,
00:37:41will he catch that
00:37:41one,
00:37:41does well,
00:37:42keeps it in play,
00:37:43McCown,
00:37:44a little bit of
00:37:44space,
00:37:45plays it into
00:37:46Engels,
00:37:48Engels plays it
00:37:49out to Tierney,
00:37:49but it advances
00:37:50between Tierney and
00:37:51Tinecti,
00:37:52who's forced to
00:37:52come back and
00:37:53come in off the
00:37:53touchline,
00:37:54halfway inside
00:37:54the Dindee half,
00:37:56he plays it back
00:37:57to Scales,
00:37:57quickly releases it
00:37:58to Trusty,
00:37:59Donovan's out
00:38:00on that right-hand
00:38:00side,
00:38:01wants it,
00:38:01picks it up,
00:38:03cuts inside,
00:38:05lays it off to
00:38:05Hatati,
00:38:06Hatati first-time
00:38:07pass back to
00:38:07Scales,
00:38:08Scales on to
00:38:08Tierney,
00:38:10Celci,
00:38:11possession,
00:38:11passing,
00:38:12looking for the
00:38:12opening,
00:38:13proving for the
00:38:13opportunity,
00:38:14Tinecti now,
00:38:16knocks it back to
00:38:16Tierney,
00:38:17takes a touch,
00:38:18thought about
00:38:18playing into the
00:38:19box,
00:38:21sets it to
00:38:22Tinecti,
00:38:22he plays it
00:38:22first-time inside,
00:38:23but just too many
00:38:24defenders in that
00:38:25box.
00:38:25Yeah,
00:38:26it's just too
00:38:26slogan in,
00:38:27because you had
00:38:28an opportunity
00:38:29and you could hear
00:38:29the supporters,
00:38:30because when it
00:38:30went to Tinecti,
00:38:31he's looking for a
00:38:32pass,
00:38:32instead of just
00:38:33going and being
00:38:33positive,
00:38:34and I know at
00:38:35times it's
00:38:35impossible,
00:38:36but when you've
00:38:37got a 1v1,
00:38:38you've got to be
00:38:39willing to do that,
00:38:40and it's the same
00:38:40with Colby Donovan
00:38:41on the opposite
00:38:41side,
00:38:42he's such a good
00:38:42crosser of the
00:38:43ball when he
00:38:43goes,
00:38:44but he's running
00:38:44the inside,
00:38:45which doesn't
00:38:46allow him that
00:38:46opportunity.
00:38:48It is basic
00:38:49stuff,
00:38:50Peter,
00:38:50you're right,
00:38:51just doing the
00:38:52simple things,
00:38:53ball over the
00:38:54top there,
00:38:54McCracken takes
00:38:55it greedily.
00:38:56Yeah,
00:38:57they were doing
00:38:57listen,
00:38:58obviously they were
00:38:59dominating the
00:39:00game,
00:39:01obviously they
00:39:02can play it
00:39:02better for sure,
00:39:04but the second
00:39:04half just seems to
00:39:05be drifting away a
00:39:06little bit from
00:39:07them,
00:39:07and Dundee
00:39:08showed a little
00:39:08bit more,
00:39:10you know,
00:39:10about them,
00:39:10even though the
00:39:11possession stats
00:39:11will tell you
00:39:12completely different
00:39:13for the first
00:39:13half,
00:39:14but I think
00:39:14Dundee have
00:39:15definitely been
00:39:16more purposeful
00:39:16this half
00:39:17and opportunities.
00:39:19Well,
00:39:19I can tell you
00:39:20that Martin
00:39:20will be making
00:39:21a raft of
00:39:21changes down
00:39:22below,
00:39:23as we just
00:39:23need to wait
00:39:24and see what
00:39:24they are once
00:39:25the ball goes
00:39:25out of play,
00:39:25I'd imagine
00:39:26the Celtic
00:39:27gaffer will
00:39:28opt to do
00:39:29that,
00:39:30as McGregor
00:39:30now picks it
00:39:31up on the
00:39:32halfway line,
00:39:33feeds it to
00:39:33Trusty,
00:39:34Donovan wants
00:39:34it once again,
00:39:36gets it,
00:39:37plays it back
00:39:38to Trusty,
00:39:39out to
00:39:42Scales,
00:39:44Scales down
00:39:45to Tierney,
00:39:46clipped the ball
00:39:47over the top
00:39:48for Tenekti
00:39:48to chase,
00:39:49he does
00:39:49where the
00:39:50Tunisian tries
00:39:50to stab it
00:39:51across,
00:39:51it's dangerous
00:39:52inside the box,
00:39:53but it's cleared
00:39:54away once again
00:39:55and now
00:39:55Ingles has to
00:39:56lay it off
00:39:56first time
00:39:57to McCown,
00:39:57just oversteps
00:39:58the ball,
00:40:00and indeed
00:40:00with the
00:40:01opportunity
00:40:01to come forward
00:40:02for Tony
00:40:03Ugani.
00:40:05Challenge
00:40:06goes in,
00:40:07hopefully not
00:40:08happy with that,
00:40:09reaching into
00:40:10his pocket,
00:40:11looks like
00:40:12another yellow
00:40:12card.
00:40:17So it will be
00:40:18Tony Ralston,
00:40:19Benjamin
00:40:20Negrin and
00:40:20Paolo
00:40:21Vermardo
00:40:21to come on
00:40:22for the
00:40:22hoops.
00:40:23and the
00:40:25clears coming
00:40:26off number
00:40:2714,
00:40:27Luke McCown.
00:40:31And also
00:40:32coming off
00:40:32for Celtic
00:40:33number 51,
00:40:34Colby Donovan.
00:40:39And also
00:40:40off for Celtic
00:40:41number 41,
00:40:42Rio Hattati.
00:40:48Well,
00:40:48Raft,
00:40:49the substitutions,
00:40:50surprised to see
00:40:51some of them.
00:40:51would you say,
00:40:52Peter?
00:40:53Not necessarily,
00:40:54as I say,
00:40:55I'm looking to
00:40:56Tony Ralston,
00:40:57what do you think
00:40:57he will give you?
00:40:58He'll run back you
00:40:59in the outside area.
00:41:00Negrin gives you
00:41:01that little bit
00:41:01of quality.
00:41:03He's got a goal
00:41:04threat,
00:41:04massive goal threat.
00:41:06And Bernardo,
00:41:07I really like
00:41:08as a player anyway,
00:41:09I just think
00:41:09he's very unfortunate
00:41:10in the fact
00:41:10that Callum McGregor
00:41:11plays in that role
00:41:12that I think
00:41:13Paolo Vermardo
00:41:14play very well
00:41:15in there.
00:41:16Well,
00:41:17certainly positive
00:41:18moves
00:41:18from the Celtic
00:41:20manager.
00:41:21as we hit
00:41:25the last
00:41:2610 minutes
00:41:27of the 90,
00:41:28Celtic leading
00:41:28by that goal
00:41:29to nil.
00:41:34Towards the
00:41:34edge of the box,
00:41:35headed down,
00:41:38strong challenge
00:41:39once again.
00:41:41As King Tierney
00:41:42here goes down,
00:41:43Celtic have
00:41:43the free kick.
00:41:44give it to me
00:41:45now,
00:41:46Peter,
00:41:46how are you
00:41:46seeing those
00:41:47changes being
00:41:47implemented here,
00:41:48Tony Rawlsson down
00:41:49the right?
00:41:49Well,
00:41:50Negrin will go
00:41:51wide and do
00:41:51the exact role
00:41:52as Luke McCown
00:41:53was doing,
00:41:53obviously Tony
00:41:54will come on
00:41:54at fullback,
00:41:56and you're
00:41:56saying to yourself,
00:41:57right,
00:41:57where's Paolo
00:41:57Bernardo,
00:41:58he's just going
00:41:58to be playing
00:41:59the exact same
00:41:59position as
00:42:00Rio Itati was.
00:42:02I think he's
00:42:03the only one
00:42:03that can play
00:42:04all three positions.
00:42:05People say
00:42:05Arnie Engels
00:42:06can play
00:42:07Callum's position,
00:42:08I think
00:42:09Paolo Bernardo
00:42:10is the best
00:42:10at it.
00:42:10I would agree
00:42:12with you,
00:42:13Polish
00:42:14a bigger
00:42:14part,
00:42:15Portugal under
00:42:1621,
00:42:17internationalist,
00:42:19Ralston now,
00:42:20to McGregor,
00:42:22they're inside,
00:42:22Bernardo gets
00:42:23his first touch,
00:42:24looks for the
00:42:25options,
00:42:25lays it off
00:42:26to Scales,
00:42:29Scales back
00:42:29to McGregor
00:42:30inside the
00:42:31centre circle,
00:42:31plays it out
00:42:32on the far
00:42:32side,
00:42:34picked up
00:42:34by Engels,
00:42:35inside to
00:42:36McGregor,
00:42:36once again,
00:42:37he plays it
00:42:38off to
00:42:38Bernardo,
00:42:39couldn't get
00:42:40the first
00:42:40touch off,
00:42:41and now
00:42:41Trusty picks
00:42:42the ball up
00:42:42just inside
00:42:43the Dundee
00:42:43half,
00:42:44plays it
00:42:44off to
00:42:44Ralston,
00:42:46Ralston down
00:42:46to Negan,
00:42:48back to
00:42:48Trusty inside
00:42:49the Celtic
00:42:50half,
00:42:52Scales now,
00:42:53picks up
00:42:53the pass,
00:42:54drops it
00:42:54into Bernardo,
00:42:56slips away,
00:42:56plays it off
00:42:57to Tenecti,
00:42:58patrolling the
00:42:59touchline on
00:42:59the left-hand
00:43:00side,
00:43:00goes for a run,
00:43:01gets past
00:43:01right,
00:43:01he's inside
00:43:02the box,
00:43:02now he looks
00:43:03to lay it
00:43:03off and he
00:43:03does it,
00:43:04it's knocked
00:43:04inside,
00:43:05Maida has
00:43:05the ball
00:43:06taken off
00:43:06his toes
00:43:07and now
00:43:07it's cleared.
00:43:07It's
00:43:09D look to
00:43:10come forward
00:43:11and that
00:43:11will be
00:43:12a yellow
00:43:12card,
00:43:14captain coming
00:43:15in heavy,
00:43:16one for the
00:43:17team Peter?
00:43:18Yes it was,
00:43:19it was an
00:43:19important one
00:43:19for him,
00:43:20showed a
00:43:20little bit
00:43:20of pace,
00:43:21but yet
00:43:21again it
00:43:21was the
00:43:22first thing,
00:43:22Paulo Bernardo
00:43:23gets turned,
00:43:23what does
00:43:24he do?
00:43:24Fires it
00:43:25wide,
00:43:25gets out to
00:43:26his wide
00:43:26player
00:43:27Tenecti,
00:43:28and Tenecti
00:43:28goes to the
00:43:28byline and
00:43:29takes him
00:43:29on,
00:43:30and gets
00:43:30in and
00:43:30he's
00:43:31very
00:43:31dangerous,
00:43:32but Callum
00:43:32Steyne
00:43:32won as
00:43:33you say,
00:43:33I think
00:43:33Austin
00:43:34trusty was
00:43:34in a good
00:43:34position,
00:43:35but this
00:43:35is what
00:43:36you want
00:43:37to see
00:43:37Tenecti
00:43:37doing,
00:43:38just get
00:43:38a win,
00:43:39fish a fool
00:43:39back up
00:43:40and get
00:43:40in the
00:43:40box,
00:43:41that's him
00:43:41done his
00:43:42job then.
00:43:48Indeed
00:43:48with the
00:43:48free kick,
00:43:50everybody
00:43:50now inside
00:43:51the Celtic
00:43:51half,
00:43:52John
00:43:53McCracken
00:43:53looks to
00:43:53take this
00:43:54free kick
00:43:54inside the
00:43:56centre circle
00:43:56of his
00:43:57own half,
00:43:59suspect it
00:44:00will be
00:44:00the long
00:44:00high ball
00:44:01once again,
00:44:02it's up
00:44:03towards that
00:44:04back line,
00:44:05scales,
00:44:05gets the
00:44:06header onto
00:44:06Hamilton,
00:44:08takes it
00:44:08down,
00:44:08left footed,
00:44:09shot and
00:44:10swallowed,
00:44:11holy
00:44:11by Casper
00:44:12Schmeichel,
00:44:12he saw that
00:44:12coming all
00:44:13the way,
00:44:13decent left
00:44:14foot strike.
00:44:15Yeah,
00:44:15it was,
00:44:15as I said
00:44:16to you,
00:44:17I'm surprised
00:44:17they've not
00:44:18done it
00:44:18more often,
00:44:19I said
00:44:19to you
00:44:19earlier on
00:44:20about the
00:44:20free kicks,
00:44:21why are they
00:44:21hitting the
00:44:21back post,
00:44:22why not go
00:44:23centrally,
00:44:24John
00:44:24McCracken
00:44:24does that,
00:44:25they go on
00:44:25the second
00:44:26ball and
00:44:26get a
00:44:26straight
00:44:26record goal,
00:44:27because
00:44:28they're such
00:44:28a big side,
00:44:28it's very
00:44:29difficult to
00:44:29get a clear
00:44:29header on
00:44:30it.
00:44:32Well,
00:44:32they're coming
00:44:32off the
00:44:32back of that
00:44:33impressive
00:44:333-1 win on
00:44:34Saturday against
00:44:35St.
00:44:35Mern,
00:44:35the form
00:44:36hadn't been
00:44:36that great,
00:44:37I think their
00:44:38last victory
00:44:39was actually
00:44:39against
00:44:39St.
00:44:40Actually,
00:44:40it was,
00:44:41four defeats
00:44:42in it,
00:44:42which is a
00:44:44massive result
00:44:45for them.
00:44:52Ralston
00:44:52back to
00:44:53Trusty,
00:44:55to
00:44:55scales,
00:44:57plays it
00:44:57out to
00:44:57Tierney,
00:44:58skips away
00:45:01from the
00:45:01challenge,
00:45:02heads across
00:45:02the halfway
00:45:02line,
00:45:03looks for
00:45:03the options,
00:45:04he's getting
00:45:04pulled back
00:45:05but he retains
00:45:05possession
00:45:06brilliantly,
00:45:07has to go
00:45:07back though,
00:45:08drops it
00:45:09down to
00:45:09scales,
00:45:10and a
00:45:10strong
00:45:10challenge
00:45:11coming in,
00:45:11finally
00:45:12penalised
00:45:12there.
00:45:16I just
00:45:16thought
00:45:16Robertson
00:45:17got in
00:45:17hard.
00:45:18Yeah,
00:45:18I just
00:45:18thought
00:45:18Tonecte
00:45:19should offer
00:45:19them more,
00:45:20you know,
00:45:21you do the
00:45:21old striker
00:45:22movement,
00:45:22run on,
00:45:23and then
00:45:23check back,
00:45:24or vice versa,
00:45:25come short
00:45:25again behind,
00:45:26so Tierney
00:45:27would end up
00:45:27turning back.
00:45:28Certainly have the
00:45:33free kick,
00:45:34but then we'll be a
00:45:34bit of attention
00:45:35for Finlay
00:45:37Robertson as we
00:45:38head towards
00:45:39what I can now
00:45:40officially say is
00:45:41the last five
00:45:42minutes in injury
00:45:43time of the
00:45:45Martin O'Neill
00:45:46era.
00:45:46He'll be happy
00:45:48with the
00:45:49score,
00:45:49and I
00:45:49imagine
00:45:50Peter
00:45:50maybe not
00:45:50so happy
00:45:51with the
00:45:51fact that
00:45:51we haven't
00:45:52really tested
00:45:52much for
00:45:53John
00:45:53McCracken
00:45:53so far
00:45:54in this
00:45:54second half.
00:45:55Well,
00:45:55I think
00:45:55that'll be a
00:45:56disappointing
00:45:56thing now
00:45:57for him.
00:45:58Sorry,
00:45:59Peter,
00:45:59just entered a
00:45:59quick turnaround
00:46:00there,
00:46:01Aberdeen 3-2
00:46:02ahead,
00:46:02United still
00:46:03ahead 2-1
00:46:04against
00:46:04Rangers,
00:46:05Falk
00:46:05at the
00:46:05mother
00:46:050-0
00:46:06and
00:46:06Harts
00:46:07and
00:46:07Kilmarnock
00:46:08still 1-0
00:46:08to the
00:46:09Jambos.
00:46:10Well,
00:46:10I think
00:46:10the disappointing
00:46:11thing for
00:46:11me,
00:46:11obviously,
00:46:13they want to
00:46:13go out
00:46:13with a
00:46:14victory,
00:46:14first and
00:46:14foremost,
00:46:15which is
00:46:15the most
00:46:15important
00:46:16thing,
00:46:17but they'll
00:46:17be disappointed
00:46:18probably the way
00:46:19the second
00:46:19half's panned
00:46:20out,
00:46:21there was a
00:46:22lot of
00:46:22sloppiness,
00:46:24listen,
00:46:25little bits of
00:46:25tension,
00:46:26you know what
00:46:27it's like when
00:46:27it's 1-0
00:46:28and you're
00:46:28dominating so
00:46:29much,
00:46:30but I think
00:46:30credited
00:46:31indeed,
00:46:31they've played
00:46:32their part
00:46:32making it
00:46:33difficult
00:46:33the second
00:46:33half,
00:46:35I think
00:46:35we could've
00:46:35made it
00:46:36easier for
00:46:36ourselves.
00:46:36Yes,
00:46:37they've had a
00:46:37good second
00:46:37half,
00:46:38they've been
00:46:38knocking the
00:46:38high balls,
00:46:39they've been
00:46:39doing a
00:46:39wee bit more
00:46:40pressing.
00:46:45But now
00:46:46Tierney to
00:46:47Bernardo,
00:46:47back to
00:46:48Tierney,
00:46:49switches it
00:46:49to scales
00:46:49back inside
00:46:50his own
00:46:50half,
00:46:51he lays
00:46:51it off
00:46:51to
00:46:52Trusty,
00:46:53coming down
00:46:53to
00:46:54advance
00:46:54on
00:46:55Trusty,
00:46:55but Ralston
00:46:55has it now
00:46:56and he clips
00:46:56up all
00:46:57over the
00:46:57tall,
00:46:58but Julie
00:46:58not really
00:46:59going anywhere
00:47:00apart than
00:47:00to
00:47:01John McCracken's
00:47:02gloves
00:47:02as he rolls
00:47:03it out
00:47:03to Ashley
00:47:04now.
00:47:07Dundee coming
00:47:07forward,
00:47:08Bernardo's
00:47:09strong challenge.
00:47:12Wider picks it
00:47:13up,
00:47:13referees wondering
00:47:14what else
00:47:14going on,
00:47:15he blows his
00:47:15whistle,
00:47:16gives it to
00:47:17Dundee,
00:47:17much to the
00:47:18consternation
00:47:18of the crowd.
00:47:20He's seen a
00:47:20throw-in,
00:47:21I don't know
00:47:22where he's
00:47:22getting the
00:47:22throw-in from.
00:47:24I think he's
00:47:25getting a throw-in
00:47:26because he knows
00:47:26it wasn't a
00:47:27free kick,
00:47:27that's for sure.
00:47:29The ball
00:47:29wasn't over,
00:47:30we can see
00:47:30from here.
00:47:31Absolutely,
00:47:32you can see it
00:47:32on the replay
00:47:33as well there,
00:47:33Peter,
00:47:34that ball
00:47:34has not
00:47:34crossed the
00:47:35line.
00:47:39Back it goes
00:47:40once again,
00:47:41cracking steps
00:47:42inside Maeda,
00:47:43logs the high
00:47:44one over to be
00:47:45chased down,
00:47:45trusty,
00:47:46in a straight
00:47:4650-50 run,
00:47:48he does well
00:47:49though,
00:47:49Dundee Manny
00:47:49wins the ball,
00:47:51the referee's
00:47:51going to pull
00:47:51that back for a
00:47:52few kick,
00:47:52Austin,
00:47:53trusty,
00:47:53can't believe it,
00:47:54again,
00:47:54I think it's
00:47:55one of those
00:47:55wins,
00:47:56Peter,
00:47:56that you draw
00:47:57the tackle,
00:47:58if you feel
00:47:58any contact
00:47:59you just go
00:47:59down.
00:48:00I'll tell you
00:48:00what,
00:48:01he done very
00:48:02well because
00:48:02he gets in
00:48:03front of him,
00:48:05I think he's
00:48:06made the right
00:48:07decision,
00:48:07once he's across
00:48:08you tell your
00:48:09strikers to do it,
00:48:10defenders can't
00:48:11touch you,
00:48:11I think the
00:48:12referee's made
00:48:12the correct call
00:48:13there,
00:48:14I thought
00:48:15trusty should've
00:48:15done better.
00:48:16And these
00:48:32are the
00:48:32moments,
00:48:33as you say,
00:48:33Dundee's been
00:48:34waiting on.
00:48:36Dangerous times
00:48:37at Celtic Park
00:48:38as we enter
00:48:39the last two
00:48:41minutes
00:48:42of the 90.
00:48:46everybody inside
00:48:47the box,
00:48:49Celtic been
00:48:49asked to defend
00:48:50the set piece.
00:48:54Tense times,
00:48:55you can feel it
00:48:56around the
00:48:56ground,
00:48:57wanted to hang
00:48:58on to these
00:48:59three points.
00:49:01Now an opportunity
00:49:02from the men
00:49:03from Dundee's
00:49:04Park.
00:49:07One-man
00:49:07wall
00:49:07dies in
00:49:08midair.
00:49:09Plenty of
00:49:10movement,
00:49:10plenty of
00:49:11glue shots
00:49:11in there.
00:49:12It's flicked
00:49:12over and it's
00:49:13hidden clear,
00:49:14wonderfully
00:49:14bullying skills,
00:49:15what a header
00:49:15that was
00:49:16from the
00:49:16Irishman.
00:49:18And now Celtic
00:49:19bring it clear,
00:49:19you can hear
00:49:20the roars of
00:49:20the crowd,
00:49:21as Tinecti
00:49:22picks it up.
00:49:24Has to go
00:49:24back though,
00:49:26Tierney now
00:49:26comes forward,
00:49:27flips it,
00:49:28Bernardo is
00:49:29looking for it,
00:49:29Maida will
00:49:30chase this one
00:49:30down,
00:49:31it's a straight
00:49:31run.
00:49:33Kraken gets
00:49:33it clear.
00:49:36Celtic
00:49:36with a throw in.
00:49:37I don't
00:49:38understand
00:49:38Tinecti,
00:49:39he's just
00:49:39got to keep
00:49:40running,
00:49:40he's got to
00:49:41buy a free
00:49:41kick,
00:49:42he's got to
00:49:42go and
00:49:42make the
00:49:43defender defend
00:49:43them,
00:49:44and you can
00:49:44hear the
00:49:45disappointment,
00:49:45because you
00:49:46want to
00:49:46drag your
00:49:46team off
00:49:47the pitch
00:49:47unless he's
00:49:47got the
00:49:48ability to
00:49:48take people
00:49:49on.
00:49:49Well,
00:49:50I can tell
00:49:50you that
00:49:50Kilmarnock have
00:49:51equalised at
00:49:52Tinecastle,
00:49:53it's 1-1
00:49:53through there.
00:49:58Anderson has
00:49:58scored the
00:49:59goal,
00:50:00I don't want to
00:50:00speculate that on
00:50:01the moment,
00:50:02let's see how
00:50:02Celtic do as
00:50:03we head towards
00:50:04injury time,
00:50:05I can't imagine
00:50:05there'll be much
00:50:06of that being
00:50:06added on,
00:50:07Peter.
00:50:11Probertson knocks
00:50:12it back,
00:50:14right now,
00:50:15connected for
00:50:15trouble but you
00:50:16can see,
00:50:18foolish Peter,
00:50:19it has to be
00:50:19said,
00:50:19there's no need to
00:50:20give away the free
00:50:21kick,
00:50:21he's going
00:50:21nowhere.
00:50:22It's foolish
00:50:22because it gives
00:50:23him a cracking
00:50:24opportunity to
00:50:24launch it straight
00:50:25down the middle
00:50:25of the goal
00:50:26again,
00:50:27you don't need
00:50:28that,
00:50:29you know,
00:50:30listen,
00:50:31we can talk
00:50:31about games
00:50:31elsewhere,
00:50:32no interest
00:50:33apart for you
00:50:33winning games
00:50:34here,
00:50:34this is the
00:50:34most important
00:50:35thing,
00:50:37and you don't
00:50:37make silly
00:50:38mistakes and
00:50:39silly errors.
00:50:40Well,
00:50:41we'll know very
00:50:41shortly how much
00:50:42injury time will
00:50:43be added on as
00:50:43that ball's lumped
00:50:44up towards the
00:50:45apex of the box,
00:50:46it's knocked
00:50:46inside,
00:50:47trusty loves it
00:50:48clear,
00:50:48Maeda goes up
00:50:49for the
00:50:49header.
00:50:52three added
00:50:54minutes as you
00:50:55can hear as
00:50:55Bernardo lobs
00:50:56that one
00:50:57forward,
00:50:57McCracken will
00:50:58take it,
00:50:58but he'll have
00:50:59to clear it
00:50:59quickly,
00:51:00as Negrin's
00:51:01chasing them
00:51:01down,
00:51:02the referee
00:51:03is stopping
00:51:03the play.
00:51:06Listen,
00:51:07I'd be interested
00:51:07to see that
00:51:08again,
00:51:08because I'm
00:51:09sure Negrin
00:51:09run from
00:51:10his own
00:51:10half.
00:51:11Yep.
00:51:14I have to say
00:51:15it's a poor
00:51:16decision.
00:51:16I'm not 100%
00:51:18sure,
00:51:18but if you
00:51:18watch him
00:51:19here,
00:51:20yeah,
00:51:20he's in his
00:51:20own half.
00:51:21He's in his own
00:51:23half and the
00:51:23ball leaves
00:51:24before it
00:51:24leaves his
00:51:25foot.
00:51:27Yeah.
00:51:28Sorry,
00:51:28after it
00:51:29leaves his
00:51:29foot.
00:51:30What can we
00:51:31say?
00:51:32Coming up to
00:51:33the first
00:51:33minute of the
00:51:34added three.
00:51:40Officialdom
00:51:40going on here,
00:51:41Peter.
00:51:43Celtic pushing
00:51:43everybody up,
00:51:44defensive line is
00:51:45lying halfway
00:51:46inside the Celtic
00:51:47half.
00:51:47as
00:51:49Ralson
00:51:49knocks the
00:51:50header down,
00:51:51played back
00:51:52outside on that
00:51:53far side.
00:51:54Chance to
00:51:55race down and
00:51:56get the ball
00:51:56into the box,
00:51:57it's a nice
00:51:57cross,
00:51:58it's a good
00:51:58header,
00:51:59just flashes
00:52:00wide and
00:52:01that,
00:52:01the chance
00:52:02that Elvis
00:52:03was looking for
00:52:04tonight and
00:52:04it just
00:52:04didn't land.
00:52:05It's a big
00:52:06chance,
00:52:07it's a big
00:52:07chance,
00:52:09because he does
00:52:09very well
00:52:10now,
00:52:10he gets it in.
00:52:11He's got a
00:52:13header,
00:52:13he'll be
00:52:14disappointed.
00:52:18It's a big
00:52:19chance,
00:52:19right in the
00:52:20middle of the
00:52:20goal.
00:52:26So,
00:52:26Martininio,
00:52:28is he cutting a
00:52:30relaxed figure
00:52:30down there,
00:52:31Peter?
00:52:33Listen,
00:52:34I'm not so
00:52:35relaxed up
00:52:35here.
00:52:37You know,
00:52:38I didn't
00:52:39think they'd
00:52:40be finishing
00:52:40the game
00:52:41this way,
00:52:41you know,
00:52:41that's for
00:52:42sure.
00:52:42Listen,
00:52:43we've got to
00:52:43give Dundee
00:52:44credit,
00:52:44you know,
00:52:44they've worked
00:52:45really,
00:52:45really hard
00:52:45to get
00:52:46their cell
00:52:46back in,
00:52:47they've played
00:52:47much better
00:52:47the second
00:52:48half,
00:52:49and I think
00:52:50it's been
00:52:50opposite for
00:52:50Celtic,
00:52:51I think Celtic
00:52:51had a better
00:52:52first half.
00:52:53Yep,
00:52:53I agree.
00:52:55Classic game
00:52:56of two halves
00:52:56here.
00:52:58Dundee trying
00:52:59to come forward
00:52:59for one last
00:53:00chance,
00:53:01and into the
00:53:0292nd minute,
00:53:03it's up towards
00:53:04the halfway
00:53:04line,
00:53:05Graeme is
00:53:05surely now
00:53:06trying to get
00:53:06the ball,
00:53:07quickly forward,
00:53:08Ford and D,
00:53:09it's down
00:53:09on that left
00:53:10hand side,
00:53:11the danger man
00:53:11once again,
00:53:12Maeda chases
00:53:13this one down,
00:53:15Austin D looking
00:53:15to come forward
00:53:16once again,
00:53:17Graeme drops
00:53:17it into right,
00:53:19now the movement
00:53:19up ahead,
00:53:20tries to flick it
00:53:20out to the far
00:53:21side,
00:53:21Ralston's
00:53:22underneath it,
00:53:22gets a great
00:53:23header down,
00:53:24Negrin chases it,
00:53:25does well to
00:53:25escape the
00:53:26attentions,
00:53:26plays it down
00:53:27to Maeda,
00:53:27Maeda in
00:53:28glorious isolation
00:53:29inside the box,
00:53:30he looks to get
00:53:30the shot away!
00:53:31Oh,
00:53:32wonderful shot,
00:53:33but a cannon's
00:53:34off the post,
00:53:34and that would
00:53:35have been the
00:53:36perfect end,
00:53:36ending to the
00:53:37evening!
00:53:40Dyson Maeda,
00:53:41can't believe it,
00:53:42wonderful pass,
00:53:43yeah,
00:53:44brilliant ball
00:53:44from Negrin,
00:53:45I thought he
00:53:45should have
00:53:45kept running,
00:53:46but he hits it!
00:53:49There it is,
00:53:50go-time whistle
00:53:51go,
00:53:52and it's Celtic
00:53:52back,
00:53:53the Dundee
00:53:53player slump,
00:53:55Martin Anil
00:53:56goes up to
00:53:56congratulate
00:53:57Steven Presley
00:53:58on a spirit
00:53:58to affirm
00:53:59that Celtic
00:54:00claimed
00:54:01the three points,
00:54:01that is what
00:54:02Martin Anil
00:54:02talked about,
00:54:03thanks to the
00:54:03goal from
00:54:04that man there,
00:54:05Dyson Maeda,
00:54:06Peter,
00:54:06your thoughts?
00:54:08I'm just
00:54:08delighted Celtic
00:54:09won the game,
00:54:10it was obviously
00:54:10a great way to
00:54:11send Martin Anil,
00:54:12you know,
00:54:12he's done wonderful
00:54:14since he came in,
00:54:15he's done it before
00:54:16with Celtic,
00:54:17this will be special
00:54:18for him because
00:54:18he thought his time
00:54:19as a manager
00:54:20and that was over,
00:54:21he said so himself,
00:54:22but to come back
00:54:23and have the opportunity
00:54:23to do Celtic and
00:54:24go away with the
00:54:25victory is fantastic,
00:54:26so I'm absolutely
00:54:27delighted for him
00:54:28to get Celtic
00:54:29right back in the
00:54:30picture here,
00:54:31brought an exuberance
00:54:32round about the
00:54:33supporters which
00:54:34was important
00:54:34and yet again
00:54:36he brings that
00:54:37winning touch,
00:54:37he just talks
00:54:38about winning,
00:54:39you know he wants
00:54:39to win with a style
00:54:40but if you can't
00:54:41win with style
00:54:42make sure you win.
00:54:44Well that's the thing,
00:54:45I mean he's talked
00:54:45long and loud this week
00:54:47about he's not
00:54:47interested in legacies,
00:54:49that's not what he's
00:54:49about,
00:54:50he's interested in
00:54:51coming in,
00:54:52doing the job,
00:54:52you can see
00:54:53Ian Jameson
00:54:54having a word with him,
00:54:55he wants him to go
00:54:56out on the park,
00:54:59and there will be
00:55:00a chance for John
00:55:01to talk to,
00:55:03Martin O'Neill
00:55:03will take you to that
00:55:04as soon as we can,
00:55:08for the moment
00:55:09the Celtic players
00:55:10congregating down
00:55:12as Martin O'Neill
00:55:12gives a final wave
00:55:13up to the stand,
00:55:15makes his way
00:55:16out to the middle
00:55:17of the park,
00:55:18we remember him
00:55:19coming onto the park
00:55:20in his very first game
00:55:21way back in 2000,
00:55:22and your retreats
00:55:24tonight with that
00:55:251-0 victory
00:55:26and a vital
00:55:26three points
00:55:27for the Celts.
00:55:30Listen,
00:55:31all have been
00:55:31delighted that he's won,
00:55:33that's the most
00:55:34important thing for him,
00:55:35as you said,
00:55:35he's not going
00:55:36to be sitting on here
00:55:37but the supporters
00:55:39are waiting behind
00:55:40to see him
00:55:41because obviously
00:55:42he's done fantastic
00:55:43since he came in
00:55:44and listen,
00:55:46some of these boys,
00:55:47I see Austin Tristy
00:55:48up to him,
00:55:48Austin Tristy
00:55:49wasn't playing,
00:55:50all of a sudden
00:55:50he's became
00:55:51part of the team
00:55:53and rightfully
00:55:54you can hear
00:55:55the crowd roaring,
00:55:57I can tell you
00:55:57it's finished
00:55:581-1 at
00:55:58Tyne Castle,
00:55:59Celtic and Hearts
00:56:00now at the top
00:56:01of the table,
00:56:04that's on goal,
00:56:04Dustin setting up
00:56:05that big game
00:56:07on Sunday
00:56:07but right now,
00:56:08right here,
00:56:09it's about the end
00:56:10of the Martin O'Neill era,
00:56:12the second
00:56:13Martin O'Neill era.
00:56:14what's he doing now,
00:56:17Peter,
00:56:18just drinking in the water.
00:56:19for Sean and
00:56:20Mac to go,
00:56:20I think
00:56:22both of them
00:56:23deserve that.
00:56:24Wonderful touch,
00:56:25not a dry eye
00:56:26in the house,
00:56:27Peter,
00:56:27superb reception
00:56:28for Martin O'Neill.
00:56:30he deserves that
00:56:30and the boys
00:56:31deserve it for him,
00:56:32it's not easy,
00:56:34I know Sean's been there
00:56:35and I've forgotten
00:56:35about Mac Fothering
00:56:36to him,
00:56:37at one stage
00:56:37he was the youngest
00:56:38player ever
00:56:38to play for Celtic,
00:56:39you know,
00:56:40never mind anything else,
00:56:41and you can see
00:56:42they want Mac
00:56:43to take it all
00:56:43but I think
00:56:44it's been important
00:56:44for Ray
00:56:45and he'll have been
00:56:46brilliant for Martin,
00:56:48I'm sure.
00:56:48Well,
00:56:49we'll take you now
00:56:50to John Lydwyn
00:56:51and Martin O'Neill.
00:56:52Very emotional
00:56:53time for you
00:56:54as you walk around
00:56:55this pitch
00:56:56but can you sum up
00:56:57the last six weeks
00:56:58or so
00:56:59on your return
00:57:00to paradise?
00:57:02These players
00:57:03have been
00:57:03absolutely fantastic,
00:57:05honestly,
00:57:06and that
00:57:07and that's why
00:57:12they are champions,
00:57:14that's the reason,
00:57:15they've been
00:57:15absolutely fantastic
00:57:17and it's been
00:57:18a privilege
00:57:19to work with them,
00:57:20a real privilege
00:57:21to work with them
00:57:22and I've had
00:57:23the time of my life
00:57:25here the last
00:57:25five or six weeks,
00:57:27thank you.
00:57:30Martin,
00:57:31can I ask
00:57:32just one final thing,
00:57:34what's your final message
00:57:35to these Celtic supporters
00:57:36as you go round
00:57:37one last time?
00:57:38The Celtic supporters,
00:57:40they just need reminding
00:57:41that they are
00:57:42the best in the world.
00:57:45Ladies and gentlemen,
00:57:46boys and girls,
00:57:48he was a legend then,
00:57:49he'll be a legend forever,
00:57:52Martin O'Neill!
00:57:54Hin Vaterland,
00:57:57sometimes calm down!
00:57:57seven
00:57:58No way,
00:57:59he grabs a little
00:58:11and he's all
00:58:12into the stack,
00:58:12I'm franchising all
00:58:13the places and
00:58:14wives from
00:58:14that
00:58:15we have
00:58:16helped him
00:58:17and
00:58:18let him
00:58:19get
00:58:20ойти
00:58:21and
00:58:22the
00:58:22It's been quite the last few weeks for Martin O'Neill,
00:58:34and these players will be delighted that they can send him off with another three points.
00:58:39It got a bit nerve-wracking towards the end there, but three points,
00:58:42and it means a perfect domestic record for Martin O'Neill in his second spell as Celtic manager.
00:58:48Add to it that fantastic win away at Feyenoord,
00:58:52and it really has been something that will really go down in history.
00:58:57He was brought in to steady the ship, but Simon Donnelly, when he came in to the club,
00:59:01Celtic were eight points behind Hearts.
00:59:04As he leaves, that eight-point gap is gone.
00:59:08Hearts are only top on a goal difference,
00:59:11and what a platform this has given new manager Wilfred Monti, who will join the club tomorrow.
00:59:15It's incredible. It really is the job that he's done with his staff there,
00:59:19and you see the humble side of him there. He wants to get the other coaches into the limelight there.
00:59:25It was a reluctant lap of honour for him. I know it's not his thing.
00:59:29He was very emotional there, but he's come in in the six weeks during the turnaround,
00:59:34just giving the boys a bit of belief there to go and play.
00:59:36He's got a game in hand as well.
00:59:37He's got a game in hand. It's a strong position to be in,
00:59:40and it's a remarkable job he's done in the few weeks he's been back at the club.
00:59:44Yeah, incredible. Nine points clear of Motherwell and Rangers in third and fourth there in the league.
00:59:51Celtic will entertain Hearts here on Sunday in Wilfred Monti's first game as Celtic manager.
00:59:59Of course, a win that day. What an afternoon. If we could win that one, his first game goes top of the run.
01:00:04But what a job Martin O'Neill has done. We'll get a proper chat with him when he and John go inside,
01:00:09and hopefully one or two of the players.
01:00:11If I had to meet, I picked up man of the match, Simon. I mean, assuming just for his goal,
01:00:17it wasn't the most scintillating Celtic performance of the season. I'm sure everybody would agree with that.
01:00:22It was all about getting the three points. Sometimes in seasons, you have to go through sticky games like this,
01:00:28where you just have to grind out the three points.
01:00:30Yeah, listen, it could have been a little bit easier if other chances had been taken,
01:00:34particularly in the first half. I thought they would have...
01:00:37Sorry, Simon, let me interrupt you. We have got the Celtic captain waiting down in the tunnel area.
01:00:42Callum McGregor is with John.
01:00:45Callum, I'll get to the reception for Martin O'Neill in a moment,
01:00:48but can you sum up tonight's match and the performance?
01:00:51Yeah, obviously good. Three points is what you come here for.
01:00:56Midweek games off the back of a really busy week.
01:00:58Difficult to go again. If I actually thought we started the game really well,
01:01:01we probably should have been out of sight by half-time.
01:01:04A couple of wee moments didn't quite drop for us.
01:01:07Second half would make it maybe a little bit more difficult than potentially where it should be,
01:01:11but at this point in the season, it's all about winning, keeping that winning momentum going.
01:01:16So yeah, good three points. Obviously performance, we can always get better
01:01:19and we'll demand better, but yeah, good three points.
01:01:22And the significance of the three points won't be lost on you,
01:01:25that others tonight have lost a bit of ground in the race?
01:01:27Yeah, yeah, of course. You obviously just look at yourself,
01:01:30try and get maximum points. And then with these midweek games,
01:01:33it's difficult for the teams to keep going and going and going.
01:01:35So if you can win your game, then obviously you see what happens around about you.
01:01:39But you know, the team are fully focused on what we're trying to do.
01:01:42And unlike that second half show, you can always be better.
01:01:45So if we continue to look after our own performances, then hopefully we'll be fine.
01:01:48Was there an extra incentive and did it feel a little bit more special to get the points for Martin tonight?
01:01:54Yeah, yeah, he deserved that. We spoke before the game about trying to send him off in the right manner.
01:01:59He's come in when the club was in need, they answered the call and along with him and his coaches have been first class.
01:02:04The players have responded ever so well, but it was important to give him a really good send off tonight.
01:02:09And the fans stayed right to the end as well to quite rightly so recognise the job that he's done.
01:02:14And where do they leave the squad as they go away? Do they feel as if they have brought everyone together in this kind of run of results?
01:02:22Yeah, yeah, because it was a really difficult run. A lot of tough games and obviously we've come through that,
01:02:27winning everyone bar one tough Europa League game. So he's left the team in a good place and good momentum.
01:02:33The team is together. You can see that in the performances. Everybody's running and fighting for each other.
01:02:38So he leaves a squad in a really good place with a really good mentality to now kick on.
01:02:43And you look forward to meeting a new manager in the coming days?
01:02:46Yeah, absolutely. That's what Celtic is about. When people come in, we all strive to be successful.
01:02:52And when the new manager comes through the door, everyone will fully back him and hopefully we can have a successful period together.
01:02:58Well done tonight, Callum.
01:02:59Perfect, thank you.
01:03:00Thanks, Peter.
01:03:01Callum McGregor there speaking with John Ledworth. So Wilfred Mansey takes over the job tomorrow.
01:03:07He comes to a club that he's never been to Celtic Park.
01:03:11He's a bit of a stranger to Scottish football. He's bringing a few of his backroom staff with him,
01:03:17we believe, as well. It feels like a big change at the club. It feels like a real change.
01:03:23The last few years when there's been a change in management, there's been, you know,
01:03:27John Kennedy in the backroom has been kind of consistent. It feels like we're having a big change at the club.
01:03:32It does. It does. I said at the top of the show, Jerry, a new chapter for the club.
01:03:38Yeah.
01:03:38Albeit we're in the midst of challenging for the league. We've got a cup final around the corner.
01:03:45Yeah, it's a new chapter.
01:03:46How does a new manager come in and try and impose his own philosophy in the game
01:03:52when you've not got much training time?
01:03:54It's a difficult one for him. He will come in. I think guys like Callum McGregor there that just spoke
01:04:01will be very important in the next few days. Welcome him to the club. He'll come in with his new team.
01:04:07It'll be interesting to see. I don't think, as I said earlier on, I don't think there'll be wholesale changes to start.
01:04:13He'll assess his team, his squad. But, you know, do you think that would be wise to just kind of let
01:04:19the players do what they're doing and not change too much too soon?
01:04:22I think so. I think so. I mean, there's been a lot of speculation. Obviously, his name's been mentioned
01:04:27for a long time now. There's speculation about how he likes to play the game. And I think in time,
01:04:31that will probably be put upon the players. But to come in at this such an important,
01:04:36I mean, there's three days, four days till Hearts here on Sunday. And you've got a cup final next week.
01:04:42So, it'll be interesting to see how he approaches it. Yeah, exciting times.
01:04:49Exciting times. We know we've got a transfer window coming up in January. You know,
01:04:52we've read the quotes from the chairman, from the chief exec as well, and the board saying they're
01:04:58going to fully back the manager. We expect him to be bringing in some players that he will integrate
01:05:03into his style. So, it really, again, adds to this feeling of change. And it's something
01:05:09that, you know, the kind of attacking football that he likes to play could be bringing in some
01:05:13exciting players. Yeah, I think it might be something to look forward to as well. I think
01:05:16the transfer window will be an important one for the club. And, listen, I'm not going to go back to,
01:05:24the likes of Ange coming and, you know, looking in different fields for players. And we've got
01:05:29some fantastic players who are still here, Maeda and Hatati to name too. Yeah.
01:05:33It'll be interesting to see where he looks, you know, obviously French as well. Will he look to that
01:05:38side of things as well? So, all new. And as you say, a little bit different as well,
01:05:43bringing in his own coaching staff. It'll be interesting to see how things develop. But I think
01:05:47exciting times. And you look at the guys that have just left tonight, Martin O'Neill and the
01:05:51coaching staff. What a position to leave them in. Let's hear from the man, the legend.
01:05:55That is Martin O'Neill. Here he is with John. Martin, you sign off with another victory tonight.
01:06:02It perhaps wasn't the most swashbuckling of performances, but how would you assess the match?
01:06:06Right. OK, I felt as if we always needed not just the first goal, but the second goal,
01:06:11just to take anxiety away. Things like this here, we missed a number of great, great opportunities to do
01:06:16that. And then it becomes a nervy last 10 or 15 minutes. You know,
01:06:20anything can happen at that stage. But overall, the players have been terrific. That's the third
01:06:24game in six days. Entitled to be a bit tired with it, particularly coming back after a really
01:06:29strenuous game in Feyenoord, you know, to go to Easter Road and win and then come here tonight.
01:06:35You're right. It might not have been swashbuckling, but if we'd got the second goal, I think that would
01:06:39have, you know, just taken all the shackles off us and go on to win well. But we've won,
01:06:47which I keep saying to you, the most important thing. Yeah, absolutely. You could sense some
01:06:52relief, adulation for you towards the end. No, I agree with you. Relief, relief to win,
01:06:57because it keeps us there. You know, and there's been a, excuse me, a super boost of confidence
01:07:05in the side. They feel as if they can win. Sometimes we were, I thought that we were a bit,
01:07:11a bit loose, particularly in the first half, you know, the passes going astray and things like this
01:07:15here. But overall, I can give them all sorts of excuses because at the end, you know, third game,
01:07:21I say in six days and still having to win, having to win, the pressure on to win. As you know,
01:07:27this club is all about winning. A word for Dyson Maeda, very brave in scoring that opening goal,
01:07:32as was Arnie Engels at the weekend. They have really put it on the line for you. Oh, absolutely.
01:07:36You know, I said to Maeda and I said to Arnie, I wouldn't have headed that. I wouldn't have gone
01:07:40for it. No, honestly, there's no point in me changing now from being a complete coward. So,
01:07:46no, great. And he's gone very, very bravely tonight, as did Arnie on Sunday.
01:07:53And I spoke to you on the pitch and I asked you to kind of sum up the moment, but now you've
01:07:57kind of gathered your thoughts a little. How do you feel having walked off the pitch again now?
01:08:01Oh, well, I mean, the reception I got is really fantastic. But the backroom staff have been
01:08:08sensational. And do you know what? Game's still about players. They've turned up and they've won
01:08:15the matches. We've had a number of serious injuries, obviously, to the major players here.
01:08:21We've had to do without that. Players have stepped up to the plate every single time. We got, you know,
01:08:28we got a lesson in terms of, what shall I say, physicality in Michelin. But to fight back in
01:08:36Feyenoord in the manner in which we did, going a goal behind, I think that speaks volumes for the
01:08:42players going forward. And Wilfred Nonsi will step into the role going forward.
01:08:47Yeah.
01:08:47What would your message to him be about these players that you've worked with?
01:08:50I don't really have a message to him, and I've been saying this all week, and so what's the
01:08:54point of me changing now? I will, if he asks for some of my view of the players, I'll gladly
01:09:03give it to him. But, you know, the last thing you want to be asking or telling another manager,
01:09:07advice to do things. You know, I learned that a long time ago. But what he'll get,
01:09:13for instance, he will get a team brimming with confidence, you know, wanting to go and
01:09:19wanting to play, wanting to play for the football club, which is great. And everything else about
01:09:25the club is just, yeah, it's fantastic.
01:09:27Well, I think what you described was in no small part thanks to you, Martin, and I think the Celtic
01:09:32fans would like me to thank you once again for everything you've done.
01:09:35Thank you, John. I've had the time of my life. I've been in the last four or five weeks. I shall
01:09:41I shall disappear now. It doesn't matter. But it's five or six weeks. I'll never, ever forget.
01:09:46Thanks, Martin.
01:09:49Brilliant. Brilliant. What a send off. I feel like we should just leave it at that. But
01:09:53it's been great to have Martin back. He will not be a stranger at this club anyway. He will be back
01:09:58of that, there is no doubt, and hopefully we'll get him back on Celtic TV as the season progresses.
01:10:03Let's remind ourselves how Celtic got the three points tonight. Dyson Maeda's goal in the first
01:10:09half. A brave header from Celtic's Japanese talisman. It's incredible that he played the full 90 minutes
01:10:16and almost got a second to the last minute, Simon.
01:10:17He didn't crack it off the upright, but as Martin said there, a brave header. We've seen angles at the
01:10:25weekend and this one's equally as brave, if not more. Puts himself in those. He's going to get hurt.
01:10:31It's a lovely little clip pass from Hattati. Nice take from Yang and Maeda's following up.
01:10:38And we didn't think at that point, 11 minutes into the game, it'd be the only goal of the night
01:10:41that it proved to be the winner. Absolutely. And that's the goal. That's the three points
01:10:45that takes Celtic. Level on points with Hart at the top of the table. Just goal difference,
01:10:50separating the sides before the sides meet here on Sunday in Wilfred Nonsi's first game in charge
01:10:56of the club. What a night. And it's a night that's all been about Martin O'Neill. He was at the club,
01:11:02of course, many, many years ago. Can you be a legend twice? I think Martin O'Neill is that.
01:11:08All right. We'll see you soon. Bye-bye.
01:11:20I will do everything I possibly can to bring some success here to the club.
01:11:26Oh, he's in. Hendrik Larsson. That is sensational.
01:11:34Larsson again. That's it. Magic does it the second time.
01:11:40John O'Neill lays out the shot.
01:11:44Hendrik Larsson again. Larsson has scored.
01:11:50Thank you very much indeed. And I just want to say thanks very much for the five years.
01:12:13Celtic have today confirmed that Brendan Rodgers has resigned with Martin O'Neill returning to the
01:12:19club as interim manager. Now at this ripe old age, I'm going to try and enjoy it.
01:12:25So at the end of the day, you have to win. And that's, that's what we have to do.
01:12:37And that's what we have to do.
01:12:39And that's what we have to do.
01:12:53To be back down and just in amongst it and being there again, it definitely did bring me back.
01:13:03And I appreciate it. And I genuinely want for it all.
