00:00You look incredible. Thank you. Thank you. You do, too. Thank you. I was like, it's very early for us to be this glammed up. Yes. Yes. But it was it's it's fun because this morning I got my makeup done by a woman I've worked with for over 15 years. Oh, gosh. Over that, actually, because I met her before my son was born and he's almost 18. So almost 20 years now. And and we do movies together. And it was very early. And she was like, yeah, it's like we're in a
00:29movie set. It's like we're actually going to work or something. And so this is this is not so unusual. And and and it's really fun to kind of get into that mode and start the day this way. So and we're, of course, celebrating all these incredible women in one room. I wanted to ask you, what is one piece of advice that you've gotten from a fellow woman in entertainment that really stuck with you? Oh, my gosh. I mean, it's I I'll just
00:59start with I have never encountered a woman in this industry, someone who identifies as female in this industry who has not been completely supportive. Like, you know, this idea of sort of competition or anything like that. Never encountered it. Not in my entire life. I'm 43 years old. And certainly not in my entire career. And and I I I think that more
01:27than any piece of advice, I think it's it's the it's the modeling of community that I've seen again and again and again from actors who are, you know, a generation above me to generations above me, that has really stood out to me like Laura Dern, for example, talks about her mom.
01:49And and and and everything that she was doing within her community of peers and supporting one another as as producers and creators.
01:57And and, you know, that is like we're we're female. We know how to commune, maybe not because we're female solely, but culturally, biologically, whatever it is, whatever has led us to this place.
02:13There is something very powerful about female identifying individuals coming together and connecting and dreaming, you know, just just dreaming. And and I would say that's that's the example that I've seen again and again and again, you know, individuals who who who dream bigger and bring others along with them on the ride.
02:36So, yeah. Well, speaking of that sisterhood and female empowerment, you know, a female led performance, everyone has not been able to stop talking about is Wicked.
02:44Did you get a chance to watch it? I have not watched Wicked yet. It is not my fault.
02:49I have been told I have to wait to watch it with my daughter. And so and and she was sick last week.
02:56And so she couldn't I couldn't bring her to the theater. But we're going to be going. We're going to be going this weekend.
03:01And I'm really, really, really, really, really emotional. Yeah. My my husband and son went I had to say, yeah, I had to stay home with with my daughter.
03:09But but yeah, they went opening night and just absolutely lost it and said it was just, you know, a revelation and a triumph and exactly what we want to be making.
03:23And, you know, in the entertainment industry today.
