00:04I'm the editor of The Hollywood Reporter today, so yes, I am in fact the boss.

00:08I'm the king of all I survey, the queen.

00:12Now tell me, it's so cool to see your name on the cover of this issue, your influence is all over it.

00:17What was most important to you about bringing out about women in Hollywood?

00:21I think it was really important to me to have a conversation about some of the subtle things that keep women from fully embracing their power.

00:29One of the pieces in the issue that I'm most proud of is a package about chronic illness in Hollywood

00:34and women trying to engage their careers while also taking care of their bodies.

00:38And my dear friend Angela Trimber, who's living through cancer, shared her story with the magazine.

00:44And then obviously it's so incredible to have Viola Davis anywhere near it,

00:49and her incredible cover quote about how underrated anger is.

00:53And then I had the opportunity to talk about some issues that were really personal and important to me in the letter from the editor.

00:59So it's a really emotional experience for me, guest editing it, and a real honor.

01:04Thank you so much. Last question. Tell me about your special guest this morning, your hair, and then who you came with.

01:10My special guest is my hair. It is fake.

01:14And then I came with Brittany Perrineau, who is the mother of Aurora Perrineau, who's an amazing and brave young woman,

01:20who came out with a sexual assault allegation last year towards someone who I knew very well and love very much.

01:26And the experience of Brittany and myself healing and finding each other and supporting each other has been a really amazing road,

01:33and I just feel so lucky to stand with her today. She's an incredible woman and an incredible mother.
