President Donald Trump sharply criticized Venezuela during his latest remarks, claiming the Maduro government has been “very bad” and has allegedly sent criminals, drug dealers, and individuals from mental institutions into the United States. Trump said Venezuela “emptied their jails” and “sent people we don’t want,” while vowing to remove them from the country.

The comments come amid rising U.S.–Venezuela tensions, ongoing border politics, and growing debate over migrant flows across the southern border. Trump also argued that Venezuela’s actions were “worse than most,” accusing the country of contributing to drug trafficking and security risks.
This statement adds a new layer to the geopolitical friction between Washington and Caracas — especially as U.S. border policy and Latin America relations dominate headlines.

00:00Yeah, if they come in through a certain country or any country or if we think they're building
00:07mills for whether it's fentanyl or cocaine. I hear Colombia, the country of Colombia,
00:13is making cocaine. They have cocaine manufacturing plants, okay? And then they sell us their
00:20cocaine. We appreciate that very much. But yeah, anybody that's doing that and selling
00:25it into our country is subject to attack.
00:27So not necessarily just Venezuela?
00:30No, not just Venezuela, no. Venezuela has been very bad. Venezuela has been really bad in
00:35something else and probably worse than most. But a lot of other people do it too. They
00:40would send murderers into our country. They would empty their jails into our country. They
00:46sent people into our country that we don't want. They sent their drug dealers and their
00:50drug people into our country. They sent people from their mental institutions into our country.
00:57And we're getting them out. That was bad. That was real bad. And they also sent drugs.
01:02Yeah?
01:03On Tim Walz, Mr. President, do you think he should resign over the fraud scandal in his state?
01:07And who should?
01:08Tim Walz, over the fraud scandal in his state.
01:11Look, I think the man is a grossly incompetent man. I thought that from the day I watched J.D. destroy
01:18him in the day, I was saying, who was more incompetent, that man or my man? I had a man and he had a man.
01:25And they were both incompetent. And I had a man and a woman. I thought she was very incompetent
01:31too. But now she's leading the field. And I think she's leading the field at the nomination.
01:37Anyway, look, that's up to them. That's up to the Democrats. You know, the problem with
01:42them is they have really bad policy. And I'm not going to say what it is because I don't
01:49want them to change it necessarily because I want to run against it, whether it's not
01:55going to be me. It's going to be somebody that's going to probably sitting at this table.
02:00It could be a couple of people sitting at this table. It could be a couple of people running
02:04together sitting at this table, you know. But I want them to win because we've done a great
02:09job in this country. And I want that to be carried forward. And, you know, I think we
02:15have I think we have a tremendous bench, really a tremendous bench. But no, I think that Waltz
02:22is a grossly incompetent man. There's something wrong with him. There's something wrong with
02:27him. And when you look at what he's done with Somalia, where Somalia, which is barely a country,
02:34you know, they have no, they have no anything. They just run around killing each other. There's
02:39no structure. And when I see somebody like Ilhan Omar, who I don't know at all, but I always
02:46watch her for years. I've watched her complain about our constitution, how she's being treated
02:51badly. Our constitution, the United States of America is a bad place. Hates everybody, hates
02:58Jewish people, hates everybody. And I think she's an incompetent person. She's a real terrible
03:06person. But when I watch what is happening in Minnesota, the land of a thousand lakes or
03:14however many lakes they have, they got a lot of lakes. But this beautiful place. And I see
03:19these people ripping it off. And now I'm understanding, and you're going to look at that, I hear they
03:26ripped off Somalians, ripped off that state for billions of dollars, billions, every year,
03:36billions of dollars. And they contribute nothing. The welfare is like 88%. They contribute nothing.
03:46I don't want them in our country. I'll be honest with you. Okay? Somebody would say,
03:49oh, that's not politically correct. I don't care. I don't want them in our country. Their
03:54country is no good for a reason. Their country stinks. And we don't want them in our country.
03:59I can say that about other countries too. I can say it about other countries too. We don't want
04:05them to help. We got to, we have to rebuild our country. You know, our country is at a tipping
04:10point. We could go bad. We're at a tipping point. I don't know if people mind me saying
04:15that, but I'm saying it. We could go one way or the other. And we're going to go the wrong
04:21way if we keep taking in garbage into our country. Ilan Omar is garbage. She's garbage. Her friends
04:28are garbage. These aren't people that work. These aren't people that say, let's go, come
04:33on, let's make this place great. These are people that do nothing but complain. They complain.
04:39And from where they came from, they got nothing. You know, they came from paradise and they said,
04:45this isn't paradise. But when they come from hell and they complain and do nothing but bitch,
04:53we don't want them in our country. Let them go back to where they came from and fix it.
04:59Thank you very much.
05:14Thank you very much.
