00:06John Travolta spoke about Scientology, how he influenced the career of Benicio del Toro,

00:11and his thoughts on the Me Too movement during a Masterclass conversation at the Cannes Film Festival.

00:16Travolta has been making the rounds at the festival as his passion project, Gotti, screened Tuesday.

00:22The film wasn't part of the festival's official lineup, but was presented by Cannes head,

00:26Teary-Free Moo, as a special screening. During the Masterclass Q&A, an audience member asked

00:30about Travolta's techniques for staying positive. The actor responded,

00:34"...I practice Scientology, and we do very simple things to get ourselves in better shape.

00:39Take care of yourself, get good sleep, be better parents, be productive, be motivated.

00:44It sounds simple, but they all contribute to your well-being." He added,

00:47"...and surround yourself with people who are positive influences because one bad egg can spoil everything."

00:52Travolta will also appear at a beach screening of his classic musical Grease Wednesday night,

00:57celebrating the film's 40th anniversary.

00:59And during the Masterclass, Travolta revealed that he and the iconic musical movie influenced the career

01:04of del Toro, as the actor told Travolta that he watched Grease 14 times as a kid. Travolta quipped,

01:10"...Benicio has this gravitas and power as an actor that you never really associate that Grease

01:15would be the thing that created Benicio del Toro."

01:17And when asked about the Me Too movement upending the old paradigm in Hollywood, Travolta kept his answer

01:22short. He said,

01:24"...I don't know much about it. I try to keep people equal. I'm a citizen of the globe."

01:28He added, "...division is a dangerous thing."
