00:03Yeah, we almost didn't name him that because people would assume that I named him after Leonardo DiCaprio.
00:08Quentin Tarantino is opening up about fatherhood and saying it's only a matter of time before his baby starts dropping F-bombs.
00:15While stopping by Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote his novelization of his 2019 picture Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,
00:20the Oscar-winning director opened up about how family life has been in the last year.
00:24The writer and director share that he, his wife, and baby son Leo have been living in Tel Aviv for more than a year since the pandemic hit.
00:31If I'm going to be in another country, the country that handled COVID the best, it's probably the best country to be in.
00:38Elsewhere, Tarantino opened up a bit more about his son Leo, saying the 15-month-old can currently say just one word.
00:44And that is Abba, which is the Hebrew word for Dada.
00:49Oh, that's a good one to say, yeah.
00:51Knowing Tarantino's affinity for swearing, however, Kimmel joked if there were any other words on the horizon.
00:56How soon before that kid's saying the F-word? I mean, it can't be long, right?
01:00Well, as soon as possible, actually.
01:02Earlier in the interview, Tarantino also gave a shout-out to a couple of fans in the crowd
01:06who were wearing Once Upon a Time shirts sold at the New Beverly Cinema, his Los Angeles theater.
01:11The iconic theater recently reopened after being shuttered for more than a year due to the pandemic.
01:15For the first week of its reopening, the theater showed Once Upon a Time in Hollywood every evening.
01:20All showings sold out in a flash.
01:22Tarantino's novelization of the Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt star goes on sale Tuesday.
