00:15sometimes I don't know what to really do with this team the reality I think for Kansas City

00:21is there are just too many ways to beat them there are too many ways things can go wrong for them

00:29the offense isn't consistent enough the defense isn't consistent enough so you might look at the

00:34game against Dallas and say well don't worry Houston doesn't have an offense like the Cowboys they're

00:40not going to be able to exploit Kansas City in that way couldn't agree more but the Texans are capable

00:46of holding Kansas City to 17 so I think that game Tom it becomes I mean look so that'll be nailed that

00:57very well could be nail in the coffin for the Chiefs as well but that's not ideal for the

01:02Texans I don't care what anybody says I know sometimes people love to fade this Chiefs team

01:06they had to had to had to had to have the Colts game they got it that was the game more than any

01:12other they played they needed this year maybe the Baltimore game at home where they would have

01:16fallen to one and three in Arrowhead that's my hesitation on running to some of these Texans futures

01:22and I would say the same thing I think there are two games this upcoming week that are effectively

01:28you know win and not in but if you lose your route you're not going to be mathematically eliminated

01:33but so it's going to be this game and it's also going to be Cowboys Lions which we'll get to you

01:38know later on that's effectively an elimination game right and again because it's just of where the

01:43losses are where the wins are you know going down down throughout the rest of the season they're only

01:48going to pick up so many more wins so effectively this is on the season for both teams and there's

01:53a path forward for the Chiefs but it also means that someone else has to drop out there's a path

01:56forward for the Texans someone else has to drop out so I see this game playing out more as we saw

02:02Chiefs Colts rather than Chiefs Cowboys low scoring game field goal ish type game because as you said

02:08yeah the Texans don't have that offense but they have a significantly better defense and if this game

02:12ends 21-17 20 to 17 I think that's where we're going to be I think or can you know and the reality

02:22is though if Kansas City gets that win while it doesn't guarantee they are in they would they and

02:29the Texans would sit seven and six Chiefs with a tiebreaker so that's where it comes in for Houston

02:34right is we're trying to evaluate can these teams actually break into the dance and I just said I think

02:40the Texans are the best team in the AFC South but that plus 350 price isn't reflective where the

02:46market says oh Kevin's way wrong here Tom's wrong this team isn't as good as these guys think it's

02:52they put themselves behind the eight ball and situationally they just may not be able to get there
