00:00I mean, look, I don't I'm not trying to be dramatic. You could argue it's a franchise
00:04altering day. The Colts looked around the AFC, saw an open conference, a hot, you know,
00:12Colts group and said, let's go for it. They trade multiple first round picks. They bring in
00:17Sauce Gardner and all of a sudden they start losing football games. You know, Sauce Gardner
00:23gets injured and it was tough to show because the decision to trade for Sauce showed a lot of
00:29confidence in Daniel Jones. And I've been a critic of Daniel Jones in the past.
00:37He was starting to lose a bit of his shot. I think we can acknowledge that. The first play of the game,
00:43he was like, Devin Lloyd, that's my target. Throws an interception. But this all gets significantly
00:48complicated because today isn't really about me being like, Jones isn't the guy. Jones just tore
00:55his Achilles. I don't know what that looks like. I know he's not playing the rest of the season
01:00and that now sets the Colts up, Joe, to lose out. You tell me. They're minus like almost 290 to win
01:09a game. But it's because, you know, are they going to really lose out? At Seattle. Home against the
01:15Niners. Uh-oh. Home against the Jags. All right. At the Texans. All right. So they maybe win a game.
01:23Maybe win a game. Ruby Slipper fell off before midnight. That's what happened. I mean, again,
01:31like even if Jones was healthy, this was they were going to be staring down the back. Although,
01:34you know what? That Sam Darno game is always interesting because Sam Darno is another one
01:38punching above his weight. And he's doing great. But he throws some Daniel Jones-type,
01:45Daniel Jones-esque interceptions. I know, but they've already lost three in a row. Yeah.
01:49No, I know. This Colts team. Four or five. Jonathan Taylor's not running the football.
01:54Well, okay. Can we stop with the MVP stuff? No, but we... With the running backs? Okay. All right.
01:59Maybe. Not me. But just anybody. All right. You must talk. You got to... Come on.
02:04Unless it's Saquon last year. All right. Yeah, but he wasn't the MVP.
02:07I'm just saying. It's all right. But defense got sliced and diced yesterday. I mean,
02:13the defense is now a sieve. Trevor looked unreal. Yeah. You know, one of his best performances
02:18of the season. Yeah. And think about what Arizona was able to do with him just two weeks ago,
02:23forced three turnovers. So, yeah, they're up against it. Emotionally, they thought they had
02:29a quarterback above AR, right? What's interesting, AR is still not off IR with the eye injury.
02:35You can't even go to Anthony Richardson in this type of situation. Not saying he would bring any
02:40wins. I mean, he would be... It would be an upgrade from where... Yeah, we wouldn't be talking
02:45like... No, no, no. The conversation would be, can Anthony Richardson save the season? Not,
02:50the Colts are going to lose every game. Well, they have Riley Leonard now. If they get...
02:53Let me ask you this. He's a winner. Because before we got on air, I brought up...
02:57National championship game last year. Okay. But he also might have got injured in the game.
03:00Went through his total. But that's all that matters. Listen, Joe Flacco. If Joe Flacco goes
03:06back to the Colts, and that's been a rumor where he would ask for a mutual release with the Bengals,
03:12does he give them any shot to win two of those games?
03:17But I think you set it up. The defense is playing bad. The offense doesn't look as good.
03:24Could they steal one? I mean... That's not good enough, I don't think, now. Think about it like this.
03:28We're talking about how doom and gloom KC is. The Chiefs have a tiebreak over there.
03:33They're dead. I mean, they're dead. And they're not winning games with Riley Leonard. I can tell
03:40you that right now. They would need to really honestly change the whole complexity of the
03:45offense and get back to more of a triple option because Leonard can run. That is the one thing
03:50that Leonard can do. And we know that that's what they had at Notre Dame, which Darian Price and
03:54Jeremiah Love. Go back to that type of offense where you're going to run it 80% of the time
03:59with Jonathan Taylor and look to shorten games and hopefully you could steal one or two. But
04:04putting the complete game plan on Riley Leonard's shoulders right now, a quarterback that is more
04:11of just a project, they're going to lose every game. So what do you do if you're not going to get
04:18Flacco? So this is the future. What do you do? So we agree to that. They're going to lose every
04:22game. I want to see the spreads first. Joe, they might win a game. You got them winning two?
04:28No, I mean. Hold on. I think, I don't know if they had the updated win total. Let me see if I can
04:32get it for you quick. To win two, go over nine and a half, two wins is two to one. I mean,
04:37would you rather, so for them to win two games is two to one. For them to not win again is plus two
04:42ten. See, I think it's more likely they don't win it. They don't win again than win twice.
04:46They do match up well, I think. And they lost the game about a week ago to the Texans. But again,
04:51I still think that they can run the football and they, from an offensive line perspective,
04:56don't feel the front seven. I think if they took a run first mentality against the Texans,
05:01because again, Texans offensive game plan, let's play lowest scoring games. That's allowing teams to
05:07potentially be in it when you run the football. I'm just saying that would be the best.
05:11If we're talking out of those four teams, Texans are the best one to get their victory over.
