00:00we're going to start though with the afc south and not always can you see a number and immediately

00:09be able to take advantage of it but you can identify a bad number the indianapolis cults

00:15following their loss to kansas city remaining afc favorites was the worst piece of booking

00:23i think we've seen this year although it was slight you could tell the cult situation after that loss

00:31after the stacking of wins for both houston and jacksonville they were in more of a precarious

00:38position than those numbers had suggested well now the market has moved once again as the cults lose

00:46at home to the houston texans with cj stroud back under center for houston the cults are not in the

00:54top three for the afc outright market and their division price is now a plus money number after

01:04being booked runaway style tom understandably so the cults not only feel in danger of losing this

01:11division they feel in danger of missing the playoffs to me and things will not get easier

01:18from here i know we just showed the graphic for their remaining schedule it is i'm i don't want

01:23to say it's getting late early but the remaining schedule for them does not look good and you know

01:28there's a point to be made as you said they stacked up all these wins could they eat their wing into the

01:33playoffs absolutely could they split the season series with the jags who they've yet to play sure can

01:39they take one of those two games versus seattle and san francisco sure but i'm not going to have

01:45any amount of confidence in them heading into the playoffs and with the daniel jones was a calf injury

01:50all of a sudden hang on it's a fractured fibula that's not going to be healed by sunday it's not

01:55to be healed by third this is going to be an ongoing thing and frankly it's only going to get worse as he

02:00continues to play on it so the uh conversation about them potentially missing the playoffs no one was

02:05going to be saying that in in week seven eight hang on they're off to a six and one start now

02:09we are looking at a completely different story for the colts and the back few games the season are a

02:15gauntlet for them and i want to say with indianapolis i don't look at them you will likely hear the word

02:23fraud tossed around maybe on this show throughout coverage right i don't necessarily think indianapolis

02:31is a fraud i don't think they were ever as good as people were describing them right they were great

02:38bullies they were able to beat up on bad bad football teams what i do think for indianapolis

02:44though is it's all kind of collapsing on them due to the schedule that thomas talked about i actually

02:51liked the spot for indy yesterday their team total over was my best bet first time in a while i was wrong

02:56on a team total best bet it happens it was a bad call i'm not going to blame it on anything other

03:01other than that and give the texans defense a world of credit but if and i know the texans defense is

03:07special it's an undeniable top three unit in football but the colts have to play jacksonville

03:13two more times the texans again the seahawks and the niners this is the hardest remaining schedule in

03:20the nfl by far i mean it is not even close i'm sure people have seen the tank-a-thon strength of

03:29schedule graphics that get tweeted out and it'll have the column toughest opponents and then the

03:33column easiest opponents the colts easiest opponents column is empty they're the only team

03:38in football with such a situation so the question becomes tom not so why again it's not that i see

03:48indianapolis is fraud but jacksonville and houston feel pesky so to start on the houston piece of it

03:54i actually think they are the best team in this division i think they're the most likely to go on

04:00a deep playoff run they have pedigree with a quarterback who has won multiple playoff games

04:05and when you can play defense at this level you're a really scary out now houston may not get in but if

04:12they're in they're absolutely live for a run they absolutely are and you know maybe what we take

04:19from the beginning portion of the season of the colts as you said they were beating up on a lot of bad

04:22teams but that was their peak right now they are i'm not again i don't want to use the fraud they are

04:27regressing to really where they should have been which is an up and down you know just over 500 kind

04:32of team which i think we'll see play out really from the second half of the season on the first few

04:37weeks daniel jones and the offense you looked at some of their numbers they were scoring on a on a

04:41points per drive at a historic rate wasn't the best this season wasn't the best of the last five

04:46years it was one of the best this century across the nfl so that was bound to regress so when we

04:50couple that with injuries and all these sorts of things plus the remaining schedule which is again

04:55super super tough all those things collide at the same point and it leaves them in a spot where

05:00i think they're gonna be hung out to dry i think they're gonna be grasping at anyone they can possibly

05:04get i don't think they'll be making the playoffs we have to talk about the other emerging afc uh afc teams

05:09that can be pushing into the playoffs and frankly i would rather be looking at those teams for to

05:14make the playoff odds rather than the colts right now and as you described the fact that they are

05:18plus money for uh you know to win the division i think that's just the wrong price on them we could

05:23be looking at a toss-up for any of these teams
