00:04long-running, publicly celebrated sobriety. The actor admitted in an interview for his podcast

00:09Armchair Expert posted on Friday that after 16 years clean and sober, he relapsed and began

00:14taking Vicodin. Shepard revealed that his motorcycle accident in August led to his relapse.

00:19He explained he had felt deep guilt about lying and hiding his quote enormous secret from wife

00:24Kristen Bell and friends, including his podcast co-host. The actor said he finally came clean a

00:28little more than a week ago and asked for help. The episode, recorded September 21st,

00:32is titled Day 7, in honor of Shepard's seventh day of sobriety.

00:36If you got more than seven days, you got more than me, so you're my elder and I look up to you

00:41and, uh, you know, onward and upward.

00:45Charles Barkley was blasted on social media Thursday night with critics saying he appeared

00:49to defend the police officers who shot and killed Breonna Taylor. Taylor was killed in March.

00:54The only charges brought forth Wednesday were wanton endangerment against a fired officer

00:58for shooting into a home next to that of Taylor. LeBron James was among the numerous pro athletes,

01:03stars and politicians who criticized the outcome. Barkley, however, on the TNT pregame show for the

01:08Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets game four of the Western Conference finals said this of the

01:13Taylor case is captured by CBS Philly. You know, we do have to take into account that

01:18her boyfriend did shoot at the cops and shot a cop. So, like I say, even though I'm really sorry she lost

01:24her life, I don't think that we can just say we can put this in the same situation with George Floyd

01:30and Ahmaud Arbery. I just don't believe that. His comments were met with instant backlash on

01:35social media. And Shaquille O'Neal, who agreed with Barkley, was also criticized. He said, in part,

01:40I have to agree with Charles. This one is sort of lumped in.

01:43Family Guy has found the new voice of Cleveland Brown. YouTuber and voice actor Arif Sahir will take

01:48over the role for the Fox animated show's 19th season, which is set to air in the 2021-2022 TV

01:54season. Mike Henry, who has voiced the character throughout the show's run and on a spinoff The

01:58Cleveland Show, said in June that he would step away from the part as a number of animated series
