00:00It's a stressful look, I would imagine.
00:02I love this look so much, and there's a couple precarious pieces.
00:08So, any favorite films, any favorite shows of the year that you're kind of rooting for here?
00:13Definitely. I love The Brutalist, and I'm so happy that they're getting the recognition that they deserve.
00:20I also loved Brady's speech at the Golden Globes about empowering artists and centering them in their own work,
00:25and that this kind of film is the result of empowering so many artists.
00:31It's true. There's so many things about it that I feel like at a studio level, they might immediately shut down,
00:35and we would have been stripped of the privilege of watching this film.
00:40And there are so many others. The Substance I loved. Yeah.
00:44Should we have more intermissions in our films? Are you pro that?
00:47Maybe. Who doesn't want an ice cream break in the middle of a movie? Me. I want it.
00:53A little addition to things. Superman coming up. We got a few trailers out.
00:58How have you kind of felt about the reaction so far from the fans?
01:01It's been so overwhelming in a really positive way.
01:05I can't believe how many people watched that trailer.
01:08And I've said it before, and I feel like I'm at the risk of sounding totally corny at this point,
01:13but it was such a joy to work on.
01:15James and Peter Safran on the DC side, James has been dreaming of making a Superman movie for so many years,
01:23and to be a part of somebody else realizing their dream like that just brings a totally different energy to the set every day.
01:30And for David, David is such a Superman nerd, and it was just a blast.
01:36So to feel that kind of energy reflected back at us has just been so encouraging.
01:42Did you kind of talk to any previous Lois Lanes? It's kind of a pretty strong group there.
01:47The group is incredible.
01:48I didn't, but I did talk to a lot of journalists.
01:51I felt like I was focused on the journalism piece.
01:54I talked to a handful of journalists who really helped me get inside the head of a modern reporter.
02:00I feel like one of the interesting things about this character is that she's changed so much from her inception
02:04to kind of reflect what it would look like to be a modern, relentless, kind of intense, slightly messy reporter of that time.
02:17And so I feel like I really relied on the handful of journalists I spoke to to help me build her for now.
02:24And Amy Sherman-Palladino I know has a new show coming.
02:26I mean, are you two going to get back together at some point?
02:29I saw her two weeks ago in, maybe less, in New York.
02:34We talk about it every time we see each other.
02:36We're brainstorming.
02:39Yeah.
02:40But I got to visit the set of Etuale out in Paris briefly, watch Luke and his element.
02:45Yeah, it was, I mean, I can't wait for the show.
