00:00And today's a very special day for you as well. I mean, you're managing a lot of good fortunes today.
00:05We're over the moon. We're so excited to celebrate Severance and the studio and Shrinking and Slow Horses and so many other great shows.
00:16And it sort of feels like this year everything came together.
00:20And we've mapped out a lane from the beginning to make the best, not the most.
00:26And we're really staying true to that.
00:27And so in doing that, I mean, you know, it's an embarrassment of riches from the number of nominations.
00:35I mean, when those came out, Tim Cook, are you going nomination by nomination, looking at each one?
00:41Of course. All 81. Yes. Yes.
00:44I love celebrating the creative spirit.
00:48And I think there's just so much there to celebrate and so much to feel good about.
00:53And I'm so proud of the team's work.
00:55And each of those shows really offer something so different and they're so creative.
01:01And I'm just curious, when you watch those shows and sent, you know, emails or notes to their creators or creative team, what do you say?
01:08I mean, what was the Tim Cook compliment about Severance?
01:11I think it's maybe the most original show I've ever seen.
01:15It's in a world where there are lots of sequels and these kind of things.
01:21It's so great to see something that really snaps your head.
01:25And you're just so incredibly pleased with it that you that an ecosystem develops around it where people can talk about all the details in the show that they might have missed.
01:37It really is a it's really a testament to creativity, I think.
01:43You not validate the Apple strategy, but how does it further the Apple strategy of what you're trying to do with your shows?
01:50Well, it's the it's original.
01:53It's the best storyteller telling their most meaningful stories.
01:57And I think Severance is the epitome of that.
02:01And so it's right consistent with how we set out to run the service from the first day.
02:06I was just talking to one of the actors from the studio and I said, you know, don't look, Tim Cook is behind you.
02:12And she said he gave a speech last night at the party and I was the most famous person that I've ever seen.
02:17She was sort of star struck by you.
02:19Tell me when you give it when you deliver comments to a room like that about about the show and about what you guys are doing.
02:24How does how do you approach that and how does that make you feel being surrounded by all those people and knowing that they're a little star struck by you?
02:31Well, I feel very a lot of humility in in doing it.
02:36That room last night, there was so much.
02:39It was a creative talent tour de force in that room.
02:43And so I just feel a lot of humility.
02:47And are there parts of your job you'd like to sever and other parts you'd like to live in every day?
02:53You know, I have the privilege of a lifetime being CEO of Apple and I get to work with people I truly love.
02:59We do great work.
03:01We try to really make a difference in people's lives.
03:03And and so every day is a new adventure.
03:07And what's the I mean, Tim Cook, I also get so shocked that you're standing in one place knowing how much you have to manage and oversee on a daily basis.
03:15So seeing you here tonight is a chance of respite to celebrate.
03:19But is there a curfew?
03:20How how early is your day start tomorrow?
03:23It'll start at five o'clock or so.
03:26And so I'll I'll be careful about how late I stay up to do the post interview to be like, you know, see how many trophies you guys won.
03:34And I'm sure it's going to be a lot.
03:35So good luck and congratulations on everything.
03:37Thanks for giving me some time.
03:39Bye bye.
