00:00This episode of The Hollywood Reporter News is brought to you by American Airlines,
00:07Hollywood's favorite airline. The finale of The Voice season 12 kicked off last night
00:12with the four finalists each giving three performances, all in pursuit of the winning title.
00:16The Hollywood Reporter recapped the night, taking a look at the most memorable performances.
00:20The final four all performed original songs never heard before, covers and a duet with their coaches.
00:26Team Adams' Jesse Larson gave a soulful performance of taking it to the streets.
00:35His coach described Larson as a renaissance man. The first duet of the night found Chris Blue
00:39and his coach Alicia Keys singing Diamonds and Pearls.
00:46Unsurprisingly, it was emotional and stellar, according to THR, with both artists delivering
00:51huge vocals. Blue didn't let his coach outshine him, and their voices truly blended,
00:55leading to a captivating duet. Aaliyah Molden of Team Blake is the youngest artist ever to make
01:00it to the finale, and her performance of signed, sealed, delivered also highlighted her strengths,
01:05particularly in her lower register.
01:11Finally, THR's pick for best original song of the night came from Team Blake's Lauren Dusky.
01:16Her personality and artistry were both on display during her performance of the song titled
01:21Deja Vu.
01:26Blake Shelton called it perfect.
01:28Gwen Stefani was unfortunately the only coach who did not have any artists in the finale.
