Rachel Zegler is headed to Broadway with 'Evita.' The production, directed by Jamie Lloyd, will come to Broadway in spring 2027 after a critically acclaimed West End Run at the London Palladium. Zegler will reprise her starring role; additional casting has not yet been announced.

00:34as the team has expressed concerns about safety, so it will be restaged for Broadway.
00:39Lloyd said in a statement in part,
00:40I was completely overwhelmed by the incredible response to Evita in London.
00:44It is an honor to work with Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber,
00:47and I'm looking forward to revisiting the production with Rachel,
00:50whose stellar performance continues to inspire me.
00:53This will mark Zegler's return to Broadway after starring in Romeo and Juliet,
00:56alongside Kit Conner from September 2024 through February 2025.
01:01She recently won an Olivier Award for her performance in Evita.
