00:01We are, yeah.

00:02We are, even though I'm like a tomboy, anti-glamour,

00:11and kind of like to be in my own cave, I guess.

00:16I don't know.

00:16What do you call it?

00:18Anti-fun.

00:20Why don't you tell me this?

00:21Because you've now, I feel like I've bugged you guys at a lot of these big,

00:27fancy galas and award shows where she's deservedly gone home with a couple of accessories.

00:32What is it like for you to sort of have a front row seat to this?

00:36It's incredible.

00:37I mean, I'm so proud of her.

00:38I can't even, like, her work is just beyond belief.

00:42So to be here and have it acknowledged like this is incredible.

00:45It's one thing to turn in the work that you have this year, which is just stunning,

00:50but to turn around and mentor and be so kind to your castmates.

00:56Joey King was telling me you guys talk about every single day,

00:59and you've been so helpful guiding her through this process.

01:02Talk to me what it's been, tell me about what it's been like for you to sort of see this happen for her.

01:06It's so great.

01:07It's like watching a flower bloom.

01:09Like, you know, when you watch a flower open in fast motion?

01:13I feel like I'm watching that happen with her and all these different colors come out.

01:17She's so generous and kind to everyone that she works with.

01:21She takes all this extra time.

01:23She's on point as an actor.

01:25She is totally prepared, and she's emotionally completely available, fresh, alive, and present.

01:33And I just am so excited for her future because I really feel like she's going to be a big star,

01:39and she deserves it, not just because she has incredible talent, but also because she's a lovely human being.

01:45Can I ask you a question about your friend Richard Linklater?

01:48He just announced that he's doing this really ambitious project over years and years and years.

01:52Yeah, something you know a little bit about.

01:55Talk to me about that new project and, you know, how he's able to pull it off in those ways.

01:59If anybody can pull anything off, it's Richard.

02:01I mean, he's the coolest guy.

02:05He's very understated.

02:09He loves film in a way.

02:11He's a film scholar and a wonderful director, and I'm so excited about anything he does.

02:19And I have to end here.

02:20You're one of the only people here tonight or of these shows over years and years and years

02:25with two nominations in the same night.

02:27What does that mean to you, and how do you sort of, like, split your time and make sure you catch up

02:33with all your castmates from both shows?

02:36You mean tonight?

02:38How do I do that?

02:39I don't know.

02:39I just am like, where's there a chair that we could take these shoes off or rest?

02:45That's kind of – I'm just moving from chair to chair, basically.

02:49And do you have a curfew tonight?

02:51I think I've already passed my curfew tonight.
