00:09in a limited series or television movie for Big Little Lies.

00:12And that led to one of the most memorable reactions from the night.

00:15But it wasn't from Dern.

00:17It was from fellow nominee and feud star Jackie Hoffman.

00:20As presenters Riz Ahmed and Issa Rae announced Dern as the winner of the category,

00:24Hoffman was clearly seen on screen yelling,

00:27damn it, damn it, yikes.

00:34Hoffman recently told The Hollywood Reporter she was humbled and amazed

00:37by her first Emmy nomination this year.

00:39As she accepted the Emmy, Dern said,

00:41I've been acting since I was 11 years old,

00:44and I think I've worked with maybe 12 women.

00:47So thank you to the Academy for honoring our show.

00:49The actors thanked her fellow co-stars Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon,

00:53Zoe Kravitz, and Shailene Woodley, saying,

00:55I share this with my tribe of four ladies.

00:58I feel very proud to be a part of reflecting fierce women and mothers.
