00:00From Gaskin Bay Road all the way to the New Road and all the traffic going west will go in one direction behind Apex, behind Ravenel's, to the front of the new A&R Robinson International Airport.
00:17The Prime Minister did in fact say some civil works, we'll get some assistance with civil works from the U.S. personnel last year as well with roadways, that's the civil works that she was talking about.
00:35Minister of Defence Wayne Sturge spoke to the roadworks surrounding the A&R Robinson International Airport and the engagement of Trinidad contractor California Stucco.
00:46The contractor California Stucco, that is a Trinidadian company but it's a company also registered in the United States of America and I understand they do business in the United States of America.
01:01They were not hired by the THA, they are not being paid by the THA but not much else I am prepared to divulge as to the nitty gritty with respect to that company.
01:13Attorney General John Jeremy spoke to the status of forces agreement signed by the previous PNM government in December of 2024 and the outlining of powers of the United States military in Trinidad and Tobago.
01:29The status of forces agreement is not new, it is not something that we have inked recently.
01:41As a matter of fact we have a history, we're going back more than a decade of such agreements with the United States.
01:53The last one, I think, as the Minister said, being executed by the former government in 2024 and coming into force early in January of 2025.
