The couple, who had three children, were living apart due to personal issues, with the wife staying in a women's hostel. The suspect allegedly confronted her at the hostel before committing the crime. According to the report, the man sat next to the body after the murder, waiting for the police to arrive. The chilling photograph and the brazen nature of the crime have caused shock. Police have initiated an investigation into the case which has surfaced from Tamil Nadu.
