Haryana Student Stabbed To Death In The UK

00:0630-year-old Vijay Kumar, a native of Haryana's Charki Dhadri, was found with severe stab wounds
00:12on the Barbour Road in Worcester. He was rushed to the hospital but could not survive due to his
00:17injuries. Vijay had resigned from his post at the Central Board of Excise and Customs in 2025,
00:22hoping to build a better future through higher studies at the University of the West of England
00:27Bristol. According to preliminary police inputs, a physical altercation reportedly preceded the
00:32stabbing. But the motive remains unclear. The British authorities have issued a formal statement
00:37stating that five men were arrested on suspicion of murder and are now out on bail. A sixth man who
00:43was also arrested has since been released with no further action. Meanwhile, Charki Dhadri MLA
00:48Sunil Satpal Sangwan has urged the Indian government to expedite diplomatic assistance and Vijay's family
00:54has demanded to thorough investigation and swift repatriation of his body to India.
