Husband arrested for killing wife in Bengaluru, stuffs body in suitcase

A 32-year-old woman, Gauri Anil Sambrekar, was allegedly murdered by her husband Rakesh in Bengaluru. The victim's body was found stuffed in a suitcase.

00:08Police said the couple had frequent arguments between them,

00:11during which Gauri would physically assault her husband.

00:14On Wednesday, the couple had an argument when accused Rakesh stabbed Gauri with a knife

00:18and then slit her throat. The couple are said to be originally from Maharashtra

00:21and worked in private firms in the city.

00:24After allegedly killing Gauri, Rakesh stuffed her body and fled to Maharashtra.

00:28He was nabbed by the Pune Police, which tracked his phone data.
