Transcript
00:00I would say...
00:01Would you say it? Say it like the Mooch. Say it like the Mooch.
00:05Yes, Scaramucci, Scaramucci is back to the Fandango.
00:09Alright, just one day after breaking his silence with George Stephanopoulos
00:12in his first televised interview since leaving his White House post,
00:16Anthony Scaramucci sat down with The Late Show's Stephen Colbert on CBS Monday night.
00:21Scaramucci's first remark was to jokingly tell Colbert he's added the show's writers to his kill list,
00:26to which the host responded,
00:28so you're comedically threatening to kill people who work for me?
00:32I'm not allowed to joke anymore. I've learned that, Scaramucci said in the interview,
00:37during which Colbert repeatedly, and I'd like to add appropriately,
00:40referred to his guest as The Mooch.
00:42The host directly asked Scaramucci if he was brought in just to get rid of Reince Priebus.
00:47Priebus, of course, was ousted from his White House post as chief of staff
00:51only three days before Scaramucci himself left.
00:54The Mooch initially dodged the question, but Colbert pressed him to answer the question like the Mooch.
01:00In response to this, and in reference to a photo the host had brought out of Priebus and Scaramucci in office together,
01:06Scaramucci gave us some Moochie.
01:09So the Mooch from Long Island would say,
01:11there's no love lost there.
01:13Colbert went a step further asking if White House chief strategist Steve Bannon should
01:17be gone in a week for being an alleged leaker.
01:20Well, if it was up to me, he would be gone.
01:22Oh, he said it.
01:24Scaramucci, admitting that he was fired from the White House rather quickly,
01:28or as he put it,
01:29I thought I'd last longer than a carton of milk,
01:32told Colbert that he would do absolutely nothing differently if he were to do it all again.
01:37I for sure will miss all those amazing physical expressions.
01:40Oh!
01:41Anyway, make sure to head to THR.com to see the full segment from The Late Show,
01:46including the Mooch confronting Colbert for being super hard on him and the president,
01:50plus lots more.
01:52And what's your take on the Mooch on Colbert,
01:53and the amount of times both Colbert and I have said the Mooch in one clip?
01:57Let me know in the comments, y'all.
01:59Mooch.
02:00For The Hollow Reporter News, I'm Paul Costabile.
