00:00And Mr. President, all of us here want to thank you for having such a big, beautiful behind.
00:06Donald Trump finally held his first full cabinet meeting on Monday,
00:10just in time for The Late Show Stephen Colbert to chime in.
00:13During his monologue Monday night, Colbert called the televised event Next Level Weird
00:18as various fawning cabinet members took turns praising their dear leader
00:22in an odd display of gushing loyalty.
00:24This is an unprecedented public stroke fest for an emotionally frail man, okay?
00:32Colbert also brought up Deputy White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders' recent tweet
00:37that was a collection of emojis saying Sanders has done a solid job filling in for Press Secretary Sean Spicer.
00:45She tweeted this string of incomprehensible emojis, symbols, and letters, which is surprising.
00:50Why not stick to the White House's clear message of co-vief?
00:53I can co-vief with that.
00:55Colbert also ripped on Trump for crashing a wedding at his New Jersey golf club over the weekend, saying,
01:00Every wedding has a best man, but only a select few get the worst one.
01:05Phew! It's like I said the joke myself, and I was just quoting him.
01:09Head to THR.com to see the host jab the commander-in-chief for defending himself
01:13after the former FBI Director James Comey's testimony, and oh, so much more, guys.
01:18What's your take on Colbert v. Trump? And the latest, let me know in the comments.
01:21For The Hollywood Reporter News, I'm Paul Costable, and you know,
01:24we've lasted this long in a Colbert v. Trump story without this voice, so here it is.
01:28Goodbye. Tremendous goodbye.
