After several days of rescue operations, all 6,222 Malaysians trapped in the flooding in Hat Yai, Thailand, have been safely evacuated, according to the Foreign Ministry (Wisma Putra).

The ministry said the remaining 12 Malaysians have been brought home through Bukit Kayu Hitam.
