00:04Unfortunately, those traffic lights are non-smart traffic lights.
00:07They are logo traffic lights.
00:10First of all, my name is Khairi Jamal Lin.
00:13They call me KJ.
00:17Despite the many hats that I wear,
00:21within the postcode of 50490,
00:25I'm nothing else. I'm just your neighbor.
00:28A lot of us are concerned about commercial license at Plaza Damansara.
00:34I took my office at the front parking.
00:38You cannot expect it for the residents to now...
00:41Oh, they are not comfortable, now I make it myself.
00:43All these 95% solved cases are because of the system.
00:49We would like to have some clarity from BBKL.
00:52What is actually the licensing machine for Plaza Damansara?
00:56We are happy to have restaurants and bars in Phuket Damansara.
01:00A lot of us are happy when we go there also.
01:02But ultimately Phuket Damansara is a residential area.
01:05And we don't want to end up being like our sister residential area.
01:10I shall not mention their name.
01:12We all know who it is.
01:14When it's been overrun by entertainment outlets and it's no longer the bangsa that we remember.
01:21Oops, sorry.
01:23It's no longer the bangsa that we remember.
01:25So that's one.
01:27Secondly, I think just in terms of a bucket of questions that I wanted to also address is pedestrian access.
01:34So there's a lot of complaints.
01:36We also want to use public transport.
01:38I think all of us, we're happy that there are two big MRT stations in Phuket Damansara.
01:43One in Smantan and one in the old Phuket Damansara.
01:46But to access the Khuset Damansara MIT station, we are forced to go through pavilion.
01:51We don't want to go through pavilion.
01:53And we don't know why there's no pedestrian access to get there.
01:57And it's really, really unfair for us to have to go through pavilion if we don't want to go through
02:01pavilion.
02:02So that's another one.
02:03And of course the other thing is I think these traffic concerns where traffic from BSC into Jalan Johar is
02:13a nightmare.
02:14And so accountability is not just about having this position.
02:19I live amongst all of you.
02:20And as I started this town hall, I said please regard me as your neighbor, regardless of whatever else I
02:27might be.
02:28So I'm here.
02:29I want to be accountable.
02:30I'll make sure that we follow up on each and every one of these complaints, suggestions as much as possible.
02:39If there are things that we can't do, I will be honest with you.
02:42And the next time we meet at a town hall, maybe we can have this as an annual session.
02:47I'll have to tell you that this was just simply possible.
02:50Because the policy does not allow for it or budget doesn't allow for it.
02:55But I think the least that I can do with you is to be honest about the progress that has
03:00taken place
03:01and to answer at least one of your complaints.
03:04Thanks.
03:05Thanks.
03:06Thanks.
03:09Thanks.
03:12Thanks.
03:13Thanks.
03:14Thanks.
03:15Thanks.
03:16Thanks.
03:17Thanks.
03:18Thanks.
03:20Thanks.
03:21Thanks.
03:22Thanks.
03:22Thanks.
03:22Thanks.
03:22Thanks.
03:22Thanks.
03:22Thanks.
03:23You
