'The Morning Show' star Greta Lee shares with THR about what it feels like to be at the 2024 Emmy Awards. Plus, she talks about filming the upcoming season of 'The Morning Show' and confirms there will be nods to what is happening in the real world.

00:05Just casual, you know, breathable.

00:08Emmys-able, you know, winnable. I love that.

00:11What are you most looking forward to tonight?

00:13I love this night. I love the Emmys.

00:15It's so nice to be here with co-workers and people.

00:19We don't all get to hang out all the time, believe it or not.

00:22Even with my castmates. We're in the middle of filming right now,

00:25and it's so nice to just take a pause and just look at each other

00:29and say, hey, how's it going?

00:31How is filming going? How's the season going?

00:34Anything you can share with us?

00:36Absolutely not. Absolutely not.

00:39Can't say anything at all.

00:41It's going great. It's going really great.

00:43I mean, this is such an incredible night for so many reasons,

00:46but I also think, you know, you get to kind of clue us in on what you hope to work on.

00:51Is there anything that you want to, like, what stories do you want to tell

00:55as an actress and all the things that you're able to do?

00:58What story do you really want to be a part of that you haven't seen before?

01:01Oh, that I haven't seen before?

01:03Oh, gosh. There's so many.

01:05I think just being a woman and just playing a normal woman,

01:09there are so many of them.

01:10There are so many different kinds of women.

01:13And, you know, Stella is someone who was the first female person of color

01:19to become the president of her news division

01:21and then possibly to become CEO.

01:23And, you know, I think there's just more stories that need to be told

01:27about women all kinds because we are all as different as people.

01:30And, yeah, let's do it.

01:32I love that you all can tackle so many moments,

01:35but I think what's so great to watch is that we get to cover real-time news.

01:39With this election coming up, I know you can't tell too much,

01:42but will we see any nods to what's happening in the real world on next season?

01:46Yes, absolutely.

01:48As always, the morning show is a super prescient show

01:52and it will certainly reflect what's going on in the real world.
